AP Gov or AP Environmental Science? Please Help!?
I am going to be entering my Senior year next year. I am taking Statistics, Honors Physics, AP World Literature and I was recommended for AP US Government & Politics, I am considering whether or not to go through with AP Gov. As I don't like Government/Politics, I am already overwhelmed with the summer work (6-10 books!). I am recommended every year for an AP history course, but I say no even though I am very hardworking and I love history it is my second best subject, next to English but this isn't history anymore. I also have a job to look after & sports (track & field). I considered taking on AP environmental science if I drop AP Gov. Although seeing how I did poorly in Chemistry is this even an option? I did take AP Psychology I did very well and I loved it. (however I did not take the exam). I am considering a major in Marine Biology with a minor in Psychology. Will loading up on History and English courses senior year going to effect me. The only science elective is APES. I did set up my schedule to work in favor of the two AP courses I would be taking. Is it worth dropping down to regular government and politics, because it is required, APES is only an elective? or should I take the APES? I am at a total loss at what to do. *Being so late in the year I don't even know if APES is full or not. * I took honors chemistry this year and it was a nightmare. I didn't understand any of it, I spent up to 6 hours a night doing homework and I didn't even pass one test.I did do well in Honors Biology though. * I did talk to the AP gov. teacher he saw how scared I was and is willing to work with me if I struggle and he said to just try it. I just don't want to drop it during the year and have it work against me.
How can you introduce and describe your favorite teacher?
A lot of teachers come to my mind when I think of teachers whom I like.The one who stands distinctly out as the most favorite will be my chemistry teacher during my high school.He was indeed an exceptional teacher in every aspect that I could think off.His knowledge about the subject is very good and he takes pains to give his best and make each and every student is able to understand the concept.His way of taking classes was a lot different than the others as he used to relate a lot with the current examples and had a great sense of humor.This made his classes interactive as well as useful.This was that many teachers would do.Now why do I mention him as exceptional. We were doing our 11th and 12th standards when the pressure to perform well in exams was a way too much for students of that age could handle.This was when he took pains and was able to absorb the pressure from the students and kept motivating us.And yes i would like to proudly quote his name is Mr Ganesh my all time favorite teacher :)Thanks a lot for opportunity to answer :)
Science equation help? (gravitational potential energy)?
I just have a few I would like some help with. Please, no lectures about how getting the answer wont help me learn. It's called a due date, and it's tomorrow and I just simply don't understand.
