1 - Lillia Mae - The name is beautiful but Mae is a trashy ugly spelling of the beautiful name May. Lilia May is much prettier. 2- Kaylee Jade - Beautiful name but I prefer Kayley Jade. 3- Rosalie Harper - Rosalie is a beautiful name. Harper is a masculine BOYS name. 4 - Lily-Mae - Lily is lovely but I prefer it as a nickname. See first comment for May. Liliana May is lovely. 5 - Riley Harlow - Both names are masculine BOYS names. I would immediately assume that this child was male. 6 - Delilah Blu - Delilah is beautiful but I don't care for Blu 7 - Zuri Elora - Don't like it. 8 - Lani Belle - Both names are nicknames 9 - Haidyn Blaise - Both names are masculine BOYS names. Haidyn is a trashy ugly spelling of Hayden. 10 - Sora Edelle - Don't like it. 11 - Gigi Eliza - Awful. Eliza is nice but Gigi? Marlena - ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. There are LOTS of nickname possibilities. This name is personally on my top ten list because, although it's not uncommon, it's different and so classy sounding. I feel that it will age well. Marley, Lena... GORGEOUS name Kyler - I have only met one girl with this name and I ABSOLUTELY ADORE IT! Also on my top ten, I LOVE the change to the more common Kylie and Skyler. The name is so pretty! Gisela - This name has such a pretty sound to it. I prefer it over Gisele. It's different and lovely! Emera - I have NEVER heard this name before now. It's SOO pretty! I would definitely use this name! Analiese - Very classy, very pretty, SOO beautiful. This name is GORGEOUS! Charles - I have always like the classicalness of this name, which is why its on my top 5. Gable - LOVE this.. Gabe iss a favorite of mine and this name is so similar to it! LOVELOVELOVE Dresden - Although I wouldn't personally use this name, I would really admire it if I had heard it on someone. VERY cool and very strong and tough sounding. Love it. Jessen - SUPER cool. I love the name Jensen and these two are very similar. I have also never heard this name. VERY neat :-) Two thumbs up! Tanner - Always loved this name! I can't even say why! What is your favorite boy name ever?
Hey Eva! You picked a good one again! Christian is my husband's name. I feel the same way you do about girl's names, I have about 30 "favorites". Boy's are another thing entirely. I have trouble coming up with favorites. I decided that it must be because I'm a girl. Sounds reasonable. Here are some boys names that really stand out for me: Calidore ~ King Arthur's gentlest and most courageous knight. It comes from the french Caillou d' Or "golden stone". I would call him Caillou ( kai-you) Gawain ~ King Arthur's nephew. Name means "white hawk" Lachlan ~ Means "Viking" My dear husband fancies himself quite the Viking so he relates to this one. I humor him. Really nice name though Tristan ~ gorgeous name. But it means "sad". That may be enough to have to eliminate it. Pretty as it is. Unfortunately, I have not one drop of Celtic blood in me. Neither does my husband. So here are the names that I like that are not: Quentin ~ this name sounds really sexy to me. I'm not sure why. Bram ~ Dutch form of Abram. I knew a guy in Holland who had this name. He was the handsomest man I have ever seen. So I associate it with being gorgeous. Beckett & Dashiell ~ literary names. I think they have a very masculine, strong sound. Vincent ~ after Van Gogh. My muse! I have to get back to painting! I will get back to this!

What are your favorite four letter girl names? I'm not one for themes in baby names, but recently I realized that my four absolute favorite boy names are all four letters, as well as one of my two favorite girl names (Liam, Finn, Nash, Reid and Lily, Juliette is the other favorite girl name) So that got me thinking, if I did choose to have a theme (in the future obviously, as I have 2 years of college left and am not married) in my children's names and it were 4 letters, what other girl names could I choose. I like Luna, but have Lily and Luna is a bit too Harry Potter for me (although, I do love Harry Potter)... So what are your favorite four letter girl names?

I’m a Medieval and Ren geek, so…Boys: Robert, Charles, William, Henry, Geoffrey, Alexander, Michael, David. Suggested the names “Geoffrey William” (for Chaucer and Shakespeare), “Benjamin Isaac” (for Franklin and Asimov), “Peter Miles,” (for Wimsey and Vorkosigan - okay, a dangerous pair, but their mothers both have fun), and “Charles Robert” (for Darwin) for our son, though my husband vetoed them all and we settled on a compromise solution.Girls: Alexandra, Beatrice, Rosalind, Frances, Elizabeth, Susan, Anne, Margaret, Cassandra, Catherine (though I wouldn’t name a daughter that, because it’s mine and I’d want my daughter to have her own), and some flower names- Rose, Lily, Violet, Jasmine (not fond of Petunia or Pansy, but that’s J. K. Rowling’s fault). If we’d had a girl, she’d’ve been Alexandra Elizabeth (the middle name for Elizabeth I and Elizabeth Blackwell and a host of strong Elizabeths - we just like the sound of Alexandra), and a second would have been Cassandra Joan (for the Austen sisters and a good friend of ours). Also suggested “Rosalind Frances” for my grandmother (Frances Rosalind) and Rosalind Franklin.
