Places Of Renewal Greencard In Phillipines

Where can i renew my philippine passport here in orlando florida?

The closest consulate to you is located at:
1635 Miami Road, suite #3
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316

What do I need to renew my Philippine Passport?

Each applicant must appear in person at the Consulate and bring with them the following:

Duly accomplished passport application form
Most recent Philippine passport
One (1) copy of the passport data page(s)

for brown passports – copy the pages which show the data and picture of the applicant

Two (2) identical passport size (1.77" x1.37") photographs, colored with white background, taken within six (6) months of filing the application for renewal of passport.
If the applicant’s last passport is the brown one – which only shows the applicant’s middle initial, – a copy of any VALID IDENTIFICATION which shows his/her WHOLE MIDDLE NAME must also be provided. Acceptable forms of identification are:

Birth Certificate
Marriage Certificate
Baptismal Certificate
State ID or Driver License, or
Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
First time applicants must also bring the original and a copy of
NSO certified Birth Certificate, if born in the Philippines; or
Report of Birth, if born outside the Philippines (Please see requirements for Report of Birth)
The fee for the issuance of a passport is $50.00 for a 32-page passport or $60.00 for a 64-page passport. Accepted forms of payment are cash, money order, cashier’s check or bank draft made payable to the Philippine Consulate General. Personal checks, credit or debit cards are not accepted. All consular service fees are non-refundable.

If a person applying for a passport renewal cannot appear in person at the Consulate, they may authorize a representative to submit the application papers provided that the application form is notarized.

What if the applicant is unable to appear in person at the Consulate to file his or her renewal?

Forms that are not notarized may still be accepted if the representatives are directly related to the applicant (i.e. a parent, spouse, sibling, son or daughter of the applicant). However, acceptance of the application is still at the discretion of the Consular Officer in charge, and proof of the representative’s relation to the applicant will be needed

Good luck

Where is the closest place to go to get a Philippine passport? I am in Gulfport, MS?

Mississippi is under the jurisdiction of the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago, so you would normally have to go to Chicago to renew your passport. That said, Philippine diplomatic missions will regularly hold consular outreach events in places where there are Filipinos but are far away from their assigned diplomatic mission. The nearest place to you where this happens is in New Orleans, and the first one for the year was held in February.I would recommend reaching out to the organizations in the linked press release to find out when the next outreach event is so you can renew your passport in New Orleans, rather than go all the way to Chicago.

Where in Las Vegas (or near Las Vegas) can i renew my Philippine Passport?

you fall under the jurisdiction of the LA consulate. you either can make a personal appearance to renew your passport... or mail your applications. i would suggest that you drive there to make a personal appearance instead. it's way easier and faster that way. i just had my passport renewed in vancouver, canada last week. i live in seattle but luckily, i used to be a permanent resident of canada so i was able to use their consulate.

here's LA's website: http://www.pcgenla.org/

edit: yeah, not only can you go back home... you can also travel to any other countries you want. also, when you apply for the passport, you can ask them if they can process it in one day. since you're not from LA, they're going to allow it. the consulate at vancouver was doing that for the pinoys from other provinces. they probably open at around 9am... best to go at that time. that way, they can give you your passport at around 3pm the same day.

Renewing a Philippine passport at the consulate in San Francisco?

I have been trying to get a hold of the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco but I am having no luck. I call the passport extensions and the office itself during their work hours and I always get an automated voice message.

Do I need to set an appointment or can I just show up?
If I do not have my old, expired passport is there any way I can still renew my passport? I do know my passport number, the date issued and expired, and place of issue but I do not have my passport in my possession.
What are the fees for renewing my passport at the consulate and how much does it cost to expedite my Philippine passport?

IF ANYONE CAN ANSWER MY QUESTIONS, I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!

I am a permanent US resident, but my Green Card expired 30 years ago and I've never renewed it. Can my renewal application be rejected for this?

As long as you’ve stayed in possession of the card, you’re probably OK: the law requires that an alien retain in their possession any “alien registration document” issued to them by immigration officials, which you’ve done if you hung onto your green card. The fact that it’s expired means it’s no longer valid for identification or for entry, but it’s still the most recent “alien registration document” issued to you.I’d definitely suggest that you use a lawyer for the process for renewing the card. It’s unfortunate that you didn’t renew it six months ago, before the Giant Cheeto took over the government; it’s hard to predict how the present administration will decide to deal with people whose behavior is even slightly irregular in areas such as this one. Sadly, one of the major impacts of the new administration is to sow a great deal of uncertainty for resident aliens in the US.

Do I need a valid passport to get a green card?

Yes, you need a valid passport as a green card holder. *Especially if this is your first time at getting a green card*. When you go for biometrics you need your passport, notice of appointment to attend the appointment. If you do not have the correct paperwork they will cancel your appointment.

This is for a renewal of a green card:

You need to your completed Form I-90, a $110 filing fee, two photographs (as specified in the Form I-90 instructions), and your expiring Green Card. To obtain temporary proof of your status (while your new card is processed) also be sure to bring your passport, if you have one -- or bring one additional photograph so that a temporary document (a stamped Form I-94 with photograph) can be created and issued to you immediately. (Remember: it may take 10-12 months to receive your new permanent green card (1st Link)

Personal experience

Expired Passport, Expired Green Card?

If a German national naturalizes in the United States without having obtained a Beibehaltungsgenehmigung (BBG) from the Bundesverwaltungsamt in Köln beforehand, she would automatically lose her German citizenship. It's up to YOU to prove that this is not the case.

If you now walk into any German consulate in the United States, you will have to prove that you have NOT become a US citizen without having obtained a BBG. If you have a valid Green Card, you can't have become a US citizen as that's the point at which you have to surrender your Green Card. If you have become a US citizen, you'd have to show your BBG in order to get a new German passport.

So once again:
- Green Card, or
- US passport and Beibehaltungsgenehmigung.

Tourists who have lost their German passport cannot get a new one in the United States; they would only get travel papers.

In order to prove that you are NOT already a US citizen if you have lost your Green Card, you will need a certificate from the USCIS which can be obtained via the Freedom of Information Act attesting this.

My advice to you: if you have something valuable, such as your virginity, your mind, a million dollars in cash, your grandma's diamond necklace, or your Green Card, keep it safe and don't lose it. Imagine somebody would come and push a pencil into your eyeball if you'd lose your Green Card if this helps you to become a responsible person.

If the consulate doesn't accept the NOA1 that extends your now lost Green Card for another year, the best way is to wait for your new Green Card to arrive in the mail.

If the letter you have at hand specifically states that you are a lawful permanent RESIDENT, and not a US citizen and not a visitor, I'd either call the nearest consulate and ask them to call the honorary Consul, or you'll have to bite the bullet and travel there yourself. Call 'em first!
