When will China stop supporting Pakistan?

China does not consider Pakistan of much value. It deploys Pakistan to keep India engaged, in a way, that China cannot do itself, as it is developing into a superpower, and hence has to accept the norms set by the world community. China relies more upon economic power, than indulging in military and punitive expeditions, hence it has outsourced the job of annoying India, to Pakistan, at much less the cost, it will have to bear, if it does so, itself. Reply to the following question may also be seen in this respect. On what grounds does China stand in India's way of listing Masood Azhar as a global terrorist even when JeM took responsibility of the Pulwama attack?Once India and China settle their border issue, Pakistan will be of not much use to China, and may be downgraded in its relationship with China.China knows that Pakistan is irredeemable, and a lost case. The jehad and terrorism, that Pakistan has started, are making it a pariah state. Its earlier patron, USA, is already trying to abandon it. Only China is left with the baby now. But China is not that much generous with funds, like USA, and may not provide it that much help.It is in India’s interest to settle its border issue with China amicably, to get Pakistan off its back. After it, China will be left with no use for Pakistan, and may abandon it. China, with its emphasis on trade, will value India, certainly, more than a bankrupt Pakistan.

Who are the titanium dioxide manufacturers?

Refined titanium dioxide is produced by a lot of people.  There are however a lot of big names in the business.  The largest ones include DuPont, Huntsman, Evonik, Millennium, Tronox, and Kronos, but in truth the industry is highly fragmented and there are many small plants operating, especially in India and China. There are three processes used to produce it, all of them involving the use of a strong and concentrated acid solution to polish a titaniferous mineral.  These are the sulfate process (using sulfuric acid), the chloride process (using hydrochloric acid) and the DuPont chloride process (used exclusively by its owner).    Because titanium dioxide is highly resistant to acids, the concentrated acid will strip almost everything else away.  It's slightly more complicated than simply dissolving things away, though, since the sulfate process is usually able to use lower-quality minerals as a feedstock like ilmenite or anatase, while chloride process titanium dioxide has been restricted to higher-cost rutile or titaniferous scrap.  DuPont's technology has been able to get around this by using hydrochloric acid with ilmenite, but it's the only manufacturer out there with this technology. Titanium white produced from the chloride process is generally considered to be of lower quality and has a lower opacity than that of the chloride process.  You may want to look at Josh Velson's answer to Chemicals (commodities): What is the commercial value of titanium dioxide pigments (TiO2)?
