Playlist Deleted On Itunes But Not Phone

Deleted songs from iPhone still show up in iTunes?

I only put a small portion of my iTunes library on my iPhone, and often I will delete songs off my iPhone from my phone without going back through iTunes and removing those songs from the playlist of the music I put on my phone. When I plug my phone back into my computer and go to iTunes, under "On this iPhone" tab it shows all the music I put on my phone including the songs I deleted that I do not want to go back on my phone.

So say I made a playlist of 500 songs and put that playlist on my phone. Over the next month I delete 50 songs, but when I plug my phone into iTunes it shows all 500 songs are on my phone even though I deleted 50 of them. Then I add songs to my "iPhone playlist" and want to put that playlist on my phone but it still includes the songs I deleted from my phone. Is there any way to make a new playlist on iTunes and transfer the music I have on my phone to this playlist? Or is there a place on iTunes that shows the actual music I have on my phone?

I dont have a ipod playlist on itunes for my ipod nano.help what should i do?

Your question is kind of hard to follow but it sounds like you just need to put your songs back onto the computer. Search your computer first. They still might be there under an itunes folder and just not be in itunes. You can add a folder to itunes very easily.
If your music just isnt on the computer just go to the kennettnet website and download music rescue. It will transfer your music from your ipod to your computer. It is very easy to do. I would make sure your itunes is up to date first though. Go to the apple website and download the latest version of itunes.
You can also put in cd and transfer music into itunes that way, too.

Go to download.com and search for music rescue by kennettnet. It is free and its a GREAT program to get music from your ipod to your computer very quickly. I use it all the time. If you dont actually buy the program you will get an annoying little message asking you to buy it every 50 songs you download but just exit the window and it will keep going. Under preferences click the box that says skip and go on if there is a problem with a song otherwise if for some reason a song wont transfer it will stop the whole process to try to fix why it wont download. But once you change that it will work llike a charm. Make sure when you pick a folder to put your music into you choose your itunes folder so that you can delete songs from your harddrive from itunes.

Will deleting iTunes playlists create space?

I bought a 4GB iPod nano on Sunday and I love it. Only problem is that I'm running out of space and already used up about 1.7 gig. I'm looking forward to buying the video album "In Rainbows - From the Basement" from iTunes and because of the retarded iTunes "Plus", that will take up easily about 400 meg, and I'm also buying a Radiohead box set (another 200 meg); (yeah, I have a Radiohead phase going on right now), and I need as much space as possible.

My question is, since some automatic playlists (such as "My Top Rated") are quite useless, will it create space if I delete them? I need as much as possible, even the smallest amount.

HELP. all the playlists on my ipod got deleted?

I hate how I tunes will auto sync ! I change the setting to prevent auto sync with the computer so that an empty/new computer doesn't erase all my I pod songs. I regularly buy songs on my iPod that are not on my computer and if the computer wants to auto sync and override what I have on my iPod it would all go away. :(. So sorry this happened. I sure wish there was a warning message or something before this happens. Did you create your playlists on just the iPod? If so what ever playlists that are on the computer would have over written your iPod. To keep it from happening always check the settings on the computer's iTunes to not auto sync before plugging in your iPod.

I created a new playlist in iTunes, and I've synced with my iPod, but the playlist does not appear on the iPod...how can I fix this?

Sounds like it didn't sync. Connect the ipod again and watch that it sees your iPod connection. If so then click sync. When finished click on the iPod and click on iPod which will show you files on the iPod. They should be there. Is it giving you errors? Have you sync'd this or other devices before alright?

Can I delete songs and playlists in the Music app without them deleting off my iTunes on my MacBook?

Can I delete songs and playlists in the Music app without them deleting off my iTunes on my MacBook?I’m not sure I completeIy understand what you’re trying to do, but if you want to be sure you don’t accidentally delete songs from your computer and don’t want them in iTunes, first move them from the folder where all the iTunes music is stored into another folder to hold these files. iTunes will then show an exclamation point icon by the listing, indicating a missing file, which you can feel safe to remove.Music files that are deleted from iTunes should be found in the Trash, if they haven’t been deleted from there. If you just want to prevent certain songs from playing, you can uncheck them and leave them where they are. I created a complete holiday playlist, even though many of these songs are also in other smart playlists, because of genre. When the holidays are over, all I have to do is uncheck everything in the holiday playlist and backup my phone to keep the songs from playing until the following November, when I recheck those listings. By holding the command key, when checking or unchecking, makes the seasonal conversion a one-click operation.
