Anyone out there know what I'm talkin about?

Why do Pokemon fans hate me?

I'm in 9th grade and I only recently started playing the Pokemon games in like 5th grade so I don't know how all the different types affect eachother in battle and I don't know all the names of the types and the pokemon so instead of shadow I accidentally said dark when talking to this one girl and everyone starts yelling at me and calling me a newb and talking about how sad it was I mean WTF? Do you have to be an expert to play pokemon or something? I mean as if they became experts in just a couple of years! I have only ever played pearl, soul silver, and black. So come on do all Pokemon fans have to be Pokemon experts? ( please no answers telling me how I'm a newb because I started playing Pokemon 8 years late)

Pokémon fans: I get annoyed because Pokémon GO is now all over the internet while the official franchise is underrepresented, does it happen to you?

From the details:An interesting phenomenon is that even those who used to or still think Pokemon is stupid show at least some interest in Pokemon Go. One of my old classmates asked me talked quite frequently with me about information on Pokemon Go while showing little interest in Alpha sapphire. Now, let’s just play some mad libs with this…An interesting phenomenon is that even those who used to or still think Politics are stupid at least show some interest in the Presidential Campaign. One of my old classmates frequently asks me about information concerning fiscal policy while showing little interest in abortion.Just because a person is interested in a segment of something does not mean they should support (or even be cognizant of) the entirety of it. That’s just silly. The “official” franchise consists of toys, a card game, a show, movies, and several games that have nothing to do with training and battling (to include Pokemon Pinball, Pokemon Snap, Hey You Pikachu, Go, etc.). It is arrogant to think that the only part of the “official franchise” is the part that you’re interested in - especially when that part of the franchise employs the tired “Call of Duty” model of reskinning the same game with a different storyline and a few updated mechanics and distributing it as a new game.I enjoyed the games. I enjoyed capturing every Pokemon I feasibly could. I enjoyed IV breeding and EV training. I loved participating in OUs and reading composition strategy. And when someone comes to me wondering what a “type” is and whether or not that affects how hard it will be to catch a Pokemon I relish the opportunity to sit down and impart a fraction of my almost 20 years of experience rather than try to convert them down my “righteous path”.

Are there any good websearchers or Pokemon fans to help me find more information for #4 mentioned at this link? At least like a picture?

The grammar and wording is a bit confusing, but here’s what I got from it:It’s a Moon exclusiveIt’s an Ultra BeastThat narrows it down to one of two possibilities: Pheromosa or Celesteela. Lunala is a possibility as well, since it’s technically an Ultra Beast according to in-game lore.Pheromosa:Celesteela:Lunala:

What do Pokemon fans think of Alain?

I'll admit that my expectation was for Ash to win. The way I interpreted the narrative seemed to indicate a win for Ash. Alain and Ash had faced off in the past yet Ash still hadn't won. Typically, this leads to Ash winning against him in the League battle. Add that to the anime breaking conventions from previous seasons. Finally, while Mega Charizard was seen to be extremely powerful, Ash had his own powerhouse in the form of Greninja. For me, the Alain match represented that Ash had grown a lot, but that there's still someone better and ultimately there's still a long way to go. The way the anime represented mega evolution was that it's something that's hard to control and it's power grows the stronger your bond with the Pokemon that mega evolved is.Also, in the end, Alain finally accepted the fact that he shoved away people close to him and vowed for a fresh start. He is an interesting character at the very least and doesn't really deserve the hate in my opinion.

As more of a classic Pokemon fan, which modern game would help me to get caught up to the new mechanics?

I’d start with X or Y and work up—those two introduced the concept of navigating through 3D space and using “ride” pokemon to navigate various terrains, snow, sand, rocky, etc. Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire follow the same original plotline, but have a sidequest after you’re made champion & introduce the same movement mechanics as XY. SM follows the same mechanics but now instead of using ride pokemon for a certain stretch of road & leaving them there we can now summon them from where ever we are currently. USUM introduces a whole new concept called mantine surfing, so instead of taking the boat to different islands you can play this mini-game by surfing and try to rack up a high score.

Urrr what is good against dark pokemon?? plz help me!!!! =D?

Dark by itself is only weak against Fighting and Bug. However, many Dark types have two types, such as Murkrow. A list of all pokemon type combanations type matchups can be found here: http://serebii.net/games/type.shtml
