Neither is better than the other. The only differences are the version exclusive Pokémon (including the title legendaries), some items, and some Mega Stones. Should i get Pokemon Black or White before X and Y come out?
I know that Pokemon X and Y are coming out in September, but I skipped getting black/white and black/white 2. is it worth it to get any of these games before getting Pokemon X or Y? Why or why not? the last game i got was Soul Silver. thanks :)
Infernape in Pokemon X and Y?
No one knows which pokemon are gonna be intially available in X and Y, as very little info has been released so far. However, you will obviously get to a point in the game (post-Elite Four) where you can transfer pokemon from other generations to X and Y, including Infernape. Not all gen 4 (or any gen other than 6) pokemon will be available at first, I assume. However, it seems that Magikarp, Gyarados, Meinfoo, and Dratini (and its evolutions) will be available intitally, since screenshots of them have been released. So don't worry, you will be able to use your Infernape in gen 6. You'll probably just have to beat the main story first.

Should I get Pokemon X or Ultra Sun?
Well, in my opinion, I would go down the Pokemon Ultra Sun route. IF you get Ultra Sun you will get many more choices for different Pokemon on your team, and Ultra Sun has a lot more post game and ‘mini game’ opportunities. The mini games being Mantine Surf, Ultra Space Wormholes, and other things. Besides, in Ultra Sun you will be able to get a lot of different legendaries and you can even fight…SPOILER ALERTTeam Rainbow Rocket.So yeah, in my opinion, definitely get Ultra Sun for the post game experience and the more Pokemon available.
Can you rename your character in Pokemon X and Y?
Sadly, your name is permanent. :( Early in story mode, your neighbors will ask you to set a nickname... that nickname is hardly ever used, and never used once you beat story mode, so that name isn't a big deal. Your real name, used for the file, being permanent is the problem. :(

There's literally nothing to do except for battling, and even then you're a Badass at battling.More story is in the next generation, in every next generation. Its fun to try out something new.^¬^
