It can enhance them but unless you have them money mean two diddleys and one squat. Whatever you did to earn the money to begin with, you can do again. You still have the same internal and external resources. You still have the intelligence and now you have more knowledge and more skills.Yes, some of your dreams have been shattered. I made a huge mistake and think i've lost her forever?
My girlfriend of a little over two years broke up with me. I made little mistakes throughout our relationship which cause her to slowly fall out of love with me. When she ended it was i devastated and i still am. She tells me she still loves me and always will but is no longer in love with me. She is my best friend and i am hers. I want her back so bad but she told me i should move on. I have spent the last couple of months trying to prove to her that i have changed and i'm a better person and things were going well, until this past weekend. I got very drunk at a party and made out with three of her friends. I wish it would have never happened and when i woke up the next day i regret it immediately. I really hurt her feelings and i hate myself for it. That's not the kind of person i am which makes me even more upset with myself. I think i have ruined any chances i have with getting back with her. Is there anything i can do to show her how sorry i am? Will she ever take me back after something like this??

So at the end of the day it boils down to taxation again.Once government taxes incomes or revenues and gives it to anybody, by arithmetic necessity it reduces incomes or revenues of the rest of the country by the same amount.OK, a poor person gets some money. But this money has also cost consumption or investment the rest of the economy. Now, that is pretty much the goal of redistribution: to shift the capital from haves to not-haves.That, however, is not without costs and side effects. First, reduced profits heavily reduce investment (that is why reducing CIT worldwide is pretty popular with some governments aiming at economic growth, while consumption taxes are not reduced). The hand of government has given the poor some money, but it also taken opportunities, jobs and incomes from them to a degree by the same action (“That which is not seen” by Frederic Bastiat is a recommended lecture on this point), enriching them in short term, but impoverishing them this way in the long run.
