Poor Economy Rising Gas Prices Unemployment Corrupt Govt. Can The Us Get Any Worse

What can the government do to reduce unemployment?

Unemployment is a situation when the overall demand by the society can be met by employing less than 100% (say 70% of population). The overall demand of a society is itself a function of its total income.Lets take example of a family that wishes to spend just 60% of its income and save other 40% for investment pupose. That 60% expenditure will generate demand in the economy and will require only certain economy agents and rest of them will be unemployed or partially employedIt can be tackled in several ways.a) In crease the overall demand of country. It basically means make different sectors more efficient such that they are able to produce more at less cost. Thus consumption demand will increase as people will be able to consume more as they will have more to exchange among themselves. Eg( a society will have 500 kg of Rice and 100kg of steel as against just 100kg rice and 10 kg steel previously.). It will generate jobs for the economy as a whole.b)Create unified marketplaces: It helps to bring buyers and sellers together and helps to generate jobs. For example a craftsman in a village in Varanasi..can get orders from a business house in mumbai. As a result..it can provide jobsc)Reduce transaction cost of doing business: At the end of the day, businesses generate value of the entire economy.. they pay taxes to run the country and employ lakhs of people. Transaction costs in the form of corruption or multiple compliances restrict growth of companies. In our socialistic days..we created artificial poverty by choking of businesses and created unemployment consequently

How would you fix the U.S economic problems?

Raise taxes. Targeted more to the rich. The top 400 individual tax payers paid at a rate of about 16%.
Close corporate tax loopholes that allow GE and big oil and gas to not pay their fair share.
Kill all subsidies to oil and gas.
Slash the defense budget. Getting out of the wars would make this easier to do.
Single payer health system. Would make it easier on small business if they did not have to worry about paying for their employees health care. We do not need to make money off sick people. We do not need incentives for providing no health care (through profit motive).
Invest in alternate energy. Oil and gas are not going to last forever and we need to look to the future.
End the drug war. Weed should be decriminalized at the least.
Invest in education.
Regulate the finance industry. No more bank bailouts.
Close git-mo.
Outlaw torture. We are suppose to be the good guys right?
Regulate oil drilling. Do everything possible to ensure the BP oil disaster never happens again.
Invest in infrastructure. We all need good roads and bridges I think.
Constitutional amendment allowing all workers the ability to join a union. One voice is powerless, but the voices of many combined are powerful.
EPA funding. And do more to address climate change.
Make Sarah Palin stay in her house to watch Russia. (just having some fun at her expense)
Let Texas succeed and then invade them. (maybe not, but its fun to think about)

Why is the trust of people reducing in BJP/Modi government?

Recent “Pakoda” (Indian fried snack, best enjoyed with Tea and Rain ) comment. Selling Pakodas is any day better than doing nothing or begging but does Government want people to sell Pakodas in the name of Entrepreneurship?Employment and the lack of it has been an issue for a while now. Even in Government jobs, which are most sought after in India, recruiting agencies are unable to handle the examinations. Many recent incidences suggest this. Covered in media extensively . This issue dented the image of Government a bit.Nothing much was announced for Middle Class in recently concluded budget 2018. So , murmurs have been started on that front.Petrol prices, anyway , are rising.Central Government employees don’t seem to be very happy with 7th CPC settlement. Pay raise was on the lower side.GST has a share of both happy and sad faces. So, some discontent here.Nothing much can be seen on ground. I believe things are changing and progress has been above average much progress is unbalanced. Roads have been improved a lot but same cannot be said about healthcare. Plus this issue has been amplified by Opposition and they have got some success. This Government performs better than previous ones but Bragging is at the highest level too. For eg: Nobody has got 15 lakh rupees in their bank accounts. Most recent, PNB scandal of 11400 crore rupees. The culprit is a different “Modi” , in no way he is in relation with NaMo but he was seen recently with our PM in Davos, Switzerland. More startling fact is that PMO knew about these unethical practices because of a letter sent by a whistleblower. So, this carelessness or whatever is costing this Government . The timing is also crucial as Karnataka + Tripura elections are due shortly. General elections are due for next year.Trust of people is waning and is on a low. I still think PM Modi is the best option we have as we have no other option.

How does illegal immigration affect U.S economy?

The positive impact outweighs the negative by far. Illegals leaving Arizona in huge numbers??? Roflmao!!! They certainly have not, there is NO impact here because the majority haven't gone anywhere!!!
