Pretty For Print Modeling

Am I pretty? also could I be a model?

You are a very beautiful girl. But you look similar to a lot of other people, so you couldn't be like a run-way model, but maybe in a catalog at a store you like. Once you get those braces off, your mom or dad won't be able to keep the boys off of you! You will be even more gorgeous!

Keep your head up high and don't settle for less!

I wanna do modeling. am i pretty enough?

of course. modeling isnt about being pretty its about enjoying urself. try starting with something like billabong. i tried that and it was FREE! no one should rate u. everyones pretty in their own way. like u have really nice eyes.

Do you have to be pretty or tall to be a model?

Pretty? Since when are models pretty? Clothes designers are all gay, they want the models to look like men. Most of them do. Yech!! Models are gross. Tall is good though, most of them are tall for women.

My statement isn't about models faces, but the fact that the majority of them have no hips, bum or breasts. All prerequisites for being a woman in my mind.

Am I pretty enough to model?

Im not trying to sound concieted at all, but a lot of people tell me i should and my mom really wants me to get into it
but honestly i don't think I would like it or Im as good looking as most of the girls.
Please tell me your honest answers, i don't want to go into an agency and them not take me aahha that be embaressing

Modeling: What is more important being thin and tall or being beautiful?

From what I know of the modelling world, from  T.v or from personal experience, being thin and tall is a definite requirement. Modelling agencies will definitely look for a model which is at least 5 9 inches or taller. When it comes to high fashion and ramp modelling, they especially need someone who is tall and thin. But when it comes to print modelling where the restrictions on  height and weight are somewhat fluid, you do have plus size models, for e.g kate upton.Beauty becomes sort of inconsequential when you have expert make up artists and digitally manipulating techniques. It also becomes very subjective, because you have  an extremely diverse set of models coming from all across he world, a mix of classic and exotic. To cut the long story short you cannot be made to be 5 10 when you are 5 4, but you can turn an ugly betty to a plane jane and finally to a sexy diva.

Can 3D printing pretty much be viewed as a sculpture maker?

Printing, no. 3d Modelling, perhaps.3d printing assembles objects by subsequently layering and fusing material together. If you're looking for an analogy in the arts worlds, it's more like painting than sculpting. The layers just set faster :) Think of it like the ultimate impasto with layer upon layer creating an almost limitless depth.3+D milling is more akin to sculpting. You start with a mass and you can shape it, mold it, remove parts, reform (if your machine supports it) and redefine, but you're not adding material. You're starting with material and removing and reshaping to produce output. I would still challenge that if the computer is controlling the milling, it's really nothing like the act of sculpting. There are 3d modelling tools that mimic the sculpting process digitally. The finished model can then be produced using 3d printing. But comparing the actual printing to sculpting would be like saying that using a color laser printer was like painting. 3d Printing is just a mechanism for turning your creation into tangible output. It's not the art itself.

Where to start if i want to become a print model?

I don't think that the print modeling industry has a very big issue with height. But in order to be a print model you need the looks, charisma and to be very photogenic. Print modeling it's all about what the company who hires the agency NEEDS for the print add. If they need a fat person for an add, they will hire a fat person for the add. Simple as that!!!

Now in order to start getting paying jobs as a print model you need to start getting your name out there. But you don't do that overnight. Work with photographers amateur and pros a like. TFPs are a must at first. You can start getting tips from amateurs and pros on what to expect from a photo shoot. "modelmayhem.com" is another web page with tons of photographers eager to shoot amateur models. If the like you a lot they can even recommend you to an agency or even for a photo shoot they have for an agency. work on your portfolio and getting experience in modeling, posing, etc... Amateur models always ignore the fact that it's called the fashion & modeling industry. Ignoring the fact that as industries their only purpose in life is to make money and they are not going to waste money in teaching you how to do things. Why? because there a thousands of girls out there looking for the same opportunity as you do. So be sure to learn all of this before actually sending your photos to an agency. You have a better chance of finding an agency who will hire you if you already know the stuff than if you don't know nothing at all.

Be persistent. Take care of you body. have all the fat in the proper places. Stop eating at mac Donald's and eat more healthy. Do some squads and Absolutely no tummy. Only wear make-up when necessary. learn about mistakes and not always believe what that americas next top model program says. Build your confidence but don't let it go above your head. There is a lot of things you need to built but only if you really want to be a print model you will be succeed. If not, then you only want to be a model for the wrong reasons.

I hope my info had serve you well. I wish you luck and have a very good rest of the day.

=)
PS. if you work hard enough dreams really do come true...
