Where is the reset button on this belkin router?

I need it reset back to factory settings and unplugging it doesnt seem to be doing that...

I've searched this thing and there is no little pinhole that would be a reset button. I looked at the product manual and it mentions a reset button, but on the diagram where it points to each button/part, no reset button is shown. I guess there just isnt one, if that's possible.

What does the reset button on my Wii do?

All these answerers above me are wrong except for Princerules64 and Tick T. The Reset button simply resets whatever your doing.

For example, if you're playing a Wii game, and it freezes. "Oh shoot!" you say, "What the heck do I do?" Well, you press Reset, and it restarts the game, so you don't have to turn it off, turn it back on, select the game, and on and on. Just press Reset and it'll restart the game.

On my Android phone, I am getting authentication problems when I connect to my network, even if the signal strength is excellent. What should I do?

Authentication problem occurs when the “handshake” between a router and a gadget fails for any number of reasons. The handshake first consists of the gadget sending a connection request along with the password in an encrypted form to the router. The router encrypts the copy of the password stored on it and compares the received data. If it matches, it sends an acknowledge signal and the devices are connected.Try these things out:1) Forget the network in your phone and enter the password again. It probably saved the wrong password.2) Reset the router. On all routers there will be a small reset button. Keep it pressed for about 5-10s till all the lights glow and release it. The router is now back to the initial setup when it was bought. The default ssid and password will be printed on the bottom of the router. Try connecting to the router using these. If it connects you can now try and change the ssid it back to the original one.3) If even this fails, then go to the router home page by opening a browser on a device which is able to connect to it (either through WiFi or LAN cable) and enter 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 and wen requested for a username and password, look for them under the router again. It is usually admin and admin/password. Explore around till you reach the wireless setup page with the option encryption scheme. It is wpa2-psk by default. Change it to wep. This is an older encryption scheme which is not as secure as wpa2-psk but it's enough for a home network. Enter an 8 character password and save these settings. Now give it a try. If this works then your mobile probably has some problem authenticating with a wpa2-psk based router.Good luck and Happy debugging!!!

Where is the reset button located on a Bryant Furnace?

Had this problem on same type unit. Remove lower unit cover, unplug from wall ( outlet for blower).
CAREFULLY remove thermo-coupling and use steelwool to clean metal sensor. It builds up with carbon and needs cleaning when the unit is turned on. Careful not to crack ignite r coils as they are made of a brittle ceramic. The sensor is a rod about 1/8th inch thick and maybe 3" long. You will need a phillips head screw driver to remove it. The re-set button is on the board to the left.

Is there a reset button on my Cuisinart coffee maker?

I'm on my second Cuisinart automatic grinder coffee pot, and haven't had that problem ever, but many people have complained of your issue. Apparently there's a thermal limiter switch inside. If you take it apart and wire around the switch, there may be safety implications. My vote is to get a new one from a different maker. BTW, most Cuisinart coffee makers have 3 year limited warranty.

How do I reset/format a Macbook Pro?

Many factors affect the performance of your Macbook Pro. In my experience, formatting your hard disk and starting over does not necessarily help very much with performance. Here are some things that might be slowing down your computer:- Programs running in the background that may be set to start as soon as your computer starts- Having your hard drive too full- Dust buildup in your computer. Cleaning it out of a laptop is difficult if not impossible, particularly with hard-to-open Macs, but this is potentially the number one problem that affects the performance of old laptops. If you're feeling adventurous, you might try taking off the cover and dusting the components, as described on many websites. I would be very careful about this approach, however, since there is a lot of potential to break vital components.- Aging or underpowered components (can't do much about that).Really, desktops are much easier to rejuvenate than laptops, since it is so easy to maintain and upgrade them.If you are sure you want to format the hard disk and reinstall OS X, here are the steps, direct from Apple's support site (be sure to back everything up first, as formatting will delete it all!):Before you begin, you need to be connected to the Internet.Choose Apple menu > Restart, and then hold down the Command (⌘) and R keys while the computer restarts.Select “Disk Utility,” and then click Continue.Select your startup disk from the list on the left, and then click the Erase tab. From the Format pop-up menu, select Mac OS Extended (Journaled), type a name for your disk, and then click Erase. After the disk has been erased, choose Disk Utility > Quit Disk Utility. If you’re not connected to the Internet, choose a network from the Wi-Fi menu in the right corner of the menu bar (in the top-right corner of the screen).Select Reinstall Mac OS X, click Continue, and then follow the instructions.
