Langage problems with yahoo mail?
I have swedish setting in my profile. But I still don't get the proper swedish letters å, ä and ö. (ä and ö). When I receive mail they show correctly sometimes, but sometimes not. I have an ö (ö) in my name. When I send mail it seem that this letter is substituted with 'ÿfffff6'. At least this happen when I receive reply where my post is attached in the body of the message. There seem to be no way to change my name that appear in the letter head either. I can set swedish for language in my profile but the letter head in sent messages does not seem to change. Thank's if anybody can help. It doesn't seem easy to gett any assistance from the mail provider.

When I receive an email or send an email, a note flashes on the screen saying, "status receiving, sending incident 1 of 1" and then http:/talkback.netscape.com/spin-bin/col... Also, when people reply to my email, the email address ehiangelo@yahoo.com is put in their TO field instead of my email address.

yeah it happens to me too! try deleting some messages from your inbox.......so that it doesnt take that long...or ur comp. might have a irus...or check popups

Having problems with Yahoo Mail and Safari?
One of 2 things happen while using Safari and Yahoo Mail. Most frequent problem occurs when I start to go to my Inbox and then Safari crashes. The other problem occurs when I actually open my Inbox. At that point I get the spinning wheel of death and have to force quit. I am using Mtn Lion, v 10.8.5 on an iMac. I am currently using Firefox v 26.0 and Mac Mail v 6.6 to avoid these problems. This has been happening for at least a month. Anyone else having same or similar problems? Anyone have a 'permanent' fix?

Q1: Sometimes I get mail that goes into my SPAM folder that should not be going in there on Yahoo. Like if I'm in a group of people who have been replying to each other back and forth on the same subject, sometimes a group member who's in the "CC" list replies and I later find that their email went directly into the spam box....The message of the email was nothing out of the ordinary either just a simple paragraph and from a major email account like hotmail. Any reason? Do you find this is somewhat common? Q2: Today I sent an email and I noticed that my email included a signature of "Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com" Usually it doesn't do that, does it just randomly attach itself to mails you send out once in a while? Would that throw off spam filters into thinking my mail is spam? Now I'm paranoid.
