Question About How To Deal With Hypocritical Neighbors

Is my neighbors son being a hypocrite ? He is 17 and i am 39.?

He is really smart when it comes to herbs and practices it on himself but when I or my wife ask him about herbs for pain, anxiety, and sleep he always gives the same answer " research different herb, barks, etc and then if you decide to take one and are on meds ask your doctor about it first so you don't F$ck yourself up. I am not gonna tell you to take something when i am not your doctor".

Question about how to deal with hypocritical neighbors?

Sounds like she's just crazy. You have my sympathy!

Some people just have to have drama and anger in their life to make it easier to ignore their own issues (like a meth-addicted daughter, maybe?). I know it drives you nuts, but the best thing you can do is act like she simply doesn't exist. Practice in a mirror if you have to-give her absolutely NO reaction, and teach your family to do the same. I suspect that your crazy neighbor is just trying to get attention and start drama to make herself feel important, and if you don't give her any attention at all, she'll move on to another target. (Packing a brick in your purse is also good. Just in case she's crazier than she sounds.)

Hypocritical Neighbors?

So my upstairs neighbors and I have opposite schedules.. When I get home from work it's usually around 1am. I like to watch movies before o go to bed. But a few weeks ago my neighbor posted a note on my door saying I need to keep it down because he has to wake up at 3 am. But it my tv isn't loud at all. But I've stopped just to respect his wishes. But the past two weeks at 6 am his stupid girlfriend blast her Taylor Swift music. I'm sleeping she needs to keep it down. Idk what to do because they are ten times worse than I am. They vaccum at 7 in the morning they bang on walls. What should I do?

Is it hypocritical for Christians to preach about loving your neighbor, yet complain about politicans, store workers, service providers, etc.?

No.Christians are to love their neighbors, regardless of their actions, on the basis of the fact that they are co-bearers of Imago Dei, the Image of God. This means that all people, including the Adolf Hitlers and Jeffrey Dahmers of the world, have inherent value. This means that the Christian is to strive to never view their neighbors as being below their service and sacrifice. Easy to say, hard to do, but a binding obligation and weighty cross that a Christian is to carry no less. This does not mean that a Christian is to abstain from making judgements about right and and wrong in others, including politicians, store workers, service providers, or anyone else, and a Christian most definitely is under no obligation to take pleasure in the immoral actions that these people might take part in. If a Christian cannot distinguish between the broad path of destruction and the narrow path to life, and which people are walking on which road, then how can they know which road they themselves are on?Christians were once enemies of God, just as all who are not in Christ are enemies of God. God extends a special unearned mercy to Christians even in their enmity, regardless of their actions, so Christians are thus expected to extend mercy, service, and love to their own enemies, i.e., people who do things that Christians hate, regardless of their actions. However, hatred towards evil thoughts and deeds, after first having removed those within themselves, and only then in others, is a right attitude.

How do I teach my annoying neighbors who are hypocrites, a lesson?

I was that person. What my neighbors did was hack me, expose me, steal my significant other, get me fired, drug me, switch my meds, piss and shit on my toothbrush, start an entire campaign against me on Facebook, live show everything I do on my phone and more. Definitely showed me what a shitty person I've been. Idk that it'll help me change. Definitely feel bad for the fact that I pissed people off like that.

What would you do if your neighbor was an African?

Hmmm…a few days ago I answered about what I would do if my neighbor were Mexican. Now a question about African neighbors. But no indication as to whether or not the OP is interested in northern Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, any particular nation or ethnic group in Africa, or whether they might even mean African American. And this makes me wonder if there will now be a never-ending series of questions:What would you do if your neighbor were from Luxembourg? What would you do if your neighbor were unusually tall? What would you do if your neighbor is Asian? What would you do if your neighbor was a Seventh Day Adventist? What would you do if your neighbor raises Himalayan cats? What would you do if your neighbor wears glasses but decided to have corrective surgery but it didn’t quite take and now they have to squint at everyone? What would you do if your neighbor has poor self-esteem?What would you do if your neighbor collects antique Japanese fans and pins them to his or her wall? What would you do if you sometimes can see your neighbor walking around naked when you’re looking at their home with your binoculars? It’s kind of a stupid question, to be honest, no matter how it’s phrased. And the answer is the same every time.If my neighbor is a good person then I welcome them to the neighborhood (or hope that they will welcome me to the neighborhood). If my neighbor is an annoying person then I try to find some accommodation so that neither of us is too offended or put off by the other. If my neighbor is a bad person then I hope that the police catch them before they can hurt me, my family, or my friends (and report them if I witness them doing anything illegal). If my neighbor is a wise person then I try to learn from them.If my neighbor lacks experience or wisdom then I will try to teach them.It really doesn’t matter where they’re from, what skin color they have, who they pray to, what they do for hobbies, or anything else - these are the fundamental questions. So perhaps we can stop asking these silly questions about trivial matters and, instead, ask some more penetrating questions about things that are important in our neighbors.

Hypocrite Neighbors suck....?

Interesting question. I bet it would make a good topic for discussion in a law school class. With different details and facts, the answers might be entirely different.

For instance, what if that neighbor did not actually fire a weapon, but merely played a recording of gunfire? What if it could be proved that the ammunition was only blanks? Are there local laws about ownership of automatic weapons? Is it illegal to fire guns in residential areas? Why did the gun owner fire into the air? What goes up must come down, and who knows where those bullets landed?

Certainly gunfire makes a lot of noise too. What are the local ordinances regarding noise too early or too late? Are the noisy neighbors aware of these laws? Does it matter whether they were previously politely requested not to warm up their boat at the crack of dawn?

All things considered, I think the gun wielder would be the one who'd get in more trouble, but at least the incident would call the attention of the police to the neighbors' nuisance noise.

Why is it illegal to poison your neighbors dogs if they keep you up all night with their barking?

If a fly doesn't leave you alone it's ok to swat it to death. That's legal but if you throw strychnine laced meatballs over your neighbors fence you face 5 years hard time? Why the hypocrisy of the legal system?
