I lost my vision for a few seconds!?
Ok so I lost my vision for a few seconds today. Awhile back I went to a doctor before and said it was vertigo and gave me some pills that didn't help. Usually when I have vertigo attacks i get a headache and only lose little vision in one of my eyes but this time i lost MOST my verion, I couldn't even see my moms face it was very scary I had gotten it back a minuet later and after I felt shaky. I hadn't really eaten today but it happened when I was taking a shower I got some really strong shampoo in one of my eyes so I don't know if that had anything to do with it . But now I feel ok and I can see but it litterally came out of no where. I'm going to an amusement park tommorow I don't know if Id be ok to go ? Anyway I'd REALLY appriciate if anyone can help awnser my question and tell me what you think it is? PLEASE
If you had to lose your vision or your hearing which one would you choose?
I have come close to losing my hearing.When I was a toddler I had so many ear infections my mom started teaching me ASL on the recommendation of the doctors, just in case.My hearing gives me:Beauty (music is wonderful and can give me goosebumps)Entertainment (audio books!)Information (alarms, dogs barking, kids screaming)I have come close to losing my vision. When I was in my early 20's my eye disease was unmanageable to the point that I was ready to proceed with a risky corneal transplant for the possibility of a reduction in pain.My vision gives me:Beauty (the way the leaves shimmer in the trees is magical)Entertainment (movies, games)Freedom (driving!!)Which one could I most live without? My hearing. My husband can learn ASL (he's talented at learning extra languages) and I can start up where I left off 30 years ago. I'd miss music and audio books, but not as much as I'd miss the ability to drive.Unfortunately, it's not given to us to choose. While my vision is currently stable, my eye disease is degenerative, so... We shall see, or not, as the case may be.
Hearing and vision loss from sprained ankle?
I'm a 23 y.o male, 60 kg, 1.3 m. I sprained my ankle while running. I've sprained my ankle a few times before but not this severely. From the little research that I've done it seems to be a class 2 sprain. The weird thing is that a few minutes after the sprain, I got a bit light headed, lost most of my hearing and lost some of my vision. This lasted for less than 30 seconds. Is this such a rear thing to happen seeing that I can only find 1 case on Y! A (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... and nothing on google search. Can you explain this side effect or mansion a case where hearing and vision loss commonly occur due to injury. Thanks
Why did I lose vision after working out?
Today I was doing my first hard workout of the summer with my trainer. I'm in "normal" shape, as I play basketball a lot. Well after about 30 minutes of hard exercise I felt dizzy and went to get a drink. I then lost all vision and could not see (there were stars and I couldn't see anything). I felt for the wall and got some water, and then sat on the ground. I felt a little better, and regained vision, but when I went to get up and walk back I lost all vision again. I tried to go home and on the way to the car I just had to sit on the sidewalk to regain vision, then later I sat in the car for about a half hour before driving home. Why did I lose vision after working out? Has this ever happened to you?
Why did i lose my vision while smoking weed?
there are two possible reasons how someone can lose their vision while smoking weed. 1) you are some sort of anti-weed person trying to spread propaganda about weed. 2) if this actually happened, then i know what it was because ive done it at least twice and it wasnt the weed's fault. If you take too much smoke in and hold it too long you can "blackout" from lack of oxygen. Ive done this 2-3 times. It is not from any chemical reaction from weed, but from not getting oxygen to your brain by holding your breath. when it happened to me my vision clouded out and hearing became a sort of whoosh, which is the same effect as someone who is fainting (for any reason). I know this now and if it happens I just sit down and take deep breaths to get the oxygen back in my system... happy smoking, and dont take greedy tokes!

I temporarily lost my vision and hearing from smoking weed?
Does anyone know why? The weed wasnt laced becasue my friends were fine. We smoked a quarter ounce between 4 of us and i did smoke the most btw. After my hearing and vison came back( it was only gone for about a minute) i wasnt high anymore and i was wicked pale and sweaty.
