Question For All Writers Is The Word

How should you write 1 mark questions, 2 mark questions, and 5 mark questions effectively in the CBSE board examinations in all subjects?

For a one mark question, try writing the answer in a word or two or maybe, in a line. But do not use more than 15 words for your answer. For a 2-marks question, writing 2-3 lines is sufficient in about 40 words. If it's English or Social Science, you can extend the answer to not more than 50 words. ;)Now 5-marks questions are very important. As a CBSE student, I will advise you DO NOT write your answers in paragraphs.Teachers forget how many points you have mentioned in your answer and you end up getting 2 marks for your correct answer. Before mentioning the points, give a one line introduction. For example- Following are some reasons for the poverty in India- (next line) (i)… (ii).. and so onWrite at-least 5 points, depending on the subject you can extend the answer to 7-8 points. If still tgere are some important points left, feel free to write all of them.Do not write the same point again by rearranging the words of sentences. These are some tips you should remember while writing your answers. Good luck!

A question to all Fanfiction writers?

This might sound like a stupid and irrelevent question but what's with authors making up ways of describing one's hair? I get brunette as it's an actual word but then there's pinkette, bluenette, greenette, ravenette, rosette(isn't that a medal?), and hell even orangette! The fact that I got so many spelling errors just prove my point. Anyway, my question is, does the word "nette" mean hair or something?

This is a question to all writers that what come across to their mind while writing any poetry or are they habitual of writing per day a new poetry or just randomly one thought come out and people begin writing it?

It's an emotional game. One emotional move and game begins. Once get started, it may have few tea brakes, continues till all the emotions are out.Talking on words, it's like vibrations which give exact feel and meaning to it. Feel is because words of same meaning has different vibrations which create differences. However concluding is important, most of the writers start extraordinary but conclusion is like keeping hand of your date till going home. One must conclude with perfection. It has effects on your entire writing work.At last the way you wanna tell.My two lines….On that smile after long long time.“ Teri muskurahaton se ye bayar lazmi h,Ye khilkhilana jaise sawan ka laut ana hua.”

What are some tips for writing a 300 word essay?

300 words is very brief, so you’re not writing a standard 5-paragraph essay. Depending on requirements, you might have two or three standard paragraphs, or multiple shorter paragraphs with bullet points or quotations to support them.Tips:Choose a very specific topic. Something like two or three reasons why the new model of some product is better or worse than the previous model, what animal best represents your personality and two or three reasons why, or tips on how to write a 300 word essay. I realize that these are unlikely essay topics, but they give you an idea of how specific you need to get.Don’t waste words on a long intro paragraph or summary conclusion. Dive right in with your statement of opinion or discovery or fact, then throw down your supporting facts or anecdotes or prior evidence, make everything point to an end sentence that ties it all together with an outcome that gives purpose to what you’ve just written. If you’re not writing a timed essay, start writing as if you’re talking to someone and don’t worry about spelling or paragraph breaks or logical progression of sentences. Imagine you’ve got to get your idea across as you walk from one class to the next, so tell the person what you want to say without any extra crap. Once you’re done, look at what you have written as if it’s a photograph that’s been torn into pieces and try to reassemble the photo. (Your photo may already be assembled.) Put the similar pieces next to each other on the page, then arrange them above and below each other so the ideas flow from one to the next and lead toward the end. After you do that, take a word count. If it’s too long, start cutting things out. What you’ve just read is approximately 300 words, so shoot for something this size. This answer isn’t particularly nerdy, but if you like it be sure to check out my articles on The Nerd Manual, a guide for nerds and the people involved with them.

Writers? I have a few questions about writing a novelette?

1) A novelette is between 7,500 and 17,499 words according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novelette

2) 2.5cm margins (one inch) all around, double spaced, Times New Roman or Courier 11-12 size font. Don't use fancy colours, just use black. Number your pages on the top right corner. Don't put a line between your paragraphs--just press Enter once every new paragraph and put either put five spaces or press the Tab key once (which will create a space) to indent your new paragraph.

3) Using 300words/page (which is what I get on my pages normally), 7,500 words would be 25 pages, and 17,499 words would be just about 60 pages. Novelettes are small, so.

4) I don't really read novelettes, so I wouldn't know which were famous. Let me Google that for you. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=famous+novelettes

5) Sure, it'd be worth posting your writing online. Some people give great feedback--including on this website--so I think it might benefit a new writer. I suggest WEbook.com (which has an age requirement of 14, but there are many younger people on there). It's great!

6) You should decide, as the writer, what it should be about. Think: what is something you believe strongly in? Write about that. Create some characters and start!

7) I outline before I write, but it's personal preference. Find out what works for you. A novelette is short, so there is minimal outlining needed, so you might as well. Don't outline a whole ton--leave some room for spontaneous creativity, as I always say.

8) I would use a word document. It's faster to write that way. But find out what you prefer.

No problem with all the questions, they're pretty good ones. Good luck writing!

What questions should I ask of blog content writing companies, before hiring them?

There's a lot of crap content being churned out nowadays. Now that businesses of all sizes are seeing the benefits of good content marketing, there are plenty of people willing to write content for you at all rates. Here's what blog content writing companies need to be able to explain before you hire them:How blogging fits into your marketing strategy. More often than not, outsourced blog posts are created in a vacuum. The writer has no idea what goals or objectives the blog post needs to work towards (other than what keywords to include). A good blog post supports an organization's overall marketing strategy. How their content performs on social channels. In modern marketing, content needs to be good enough to earn links, shares, etc. That kind of social proof is a good indicator the content they write resonates with audiences. What kind of content they recommend. Right now, a 2500 word post generally performs better than five 500 word posts. (Note that's a generality and not true for every situation). The point is they need to take a strategic approach to your business and deliver what's going to drive results, not just lock you into a contract for three-500 word posts per week. How much they charge. Finally, you need to spend way more than $0.03/word to get quality content. If you're only paying $20-$40/post, you're likely going to end up with a lot of bland, strategically worthless content (and then wonder why content marketing isn't working for you). The content I write is on the mid-range of pricing, and I charge around $100 each for a blog post.If the content agency you're talking with is a little annoyed at these questions, it might be a sign to go elsewhere. There are so many places to get good content – feel free to reach out, and I can give you some recommendations for your niche/industry.

What is creative writing in your own words?

First of all, our creative writing—yours & mine—can only be in our own words. Otherwise, we didn’t create it, did we? At its essence, creative writing is projecting a voice into written words. (Generally, but not exclusively, your voice.) Fiction, non-fiction, poetry…whatever, creative writing is an expression of a person (or some aspect(s) of that person) in writing. Every mode of written expression can (usually should) use whatever written structure advances that communication. The particular characteristics expected or applicable to a given form can best (IMO) be learned by reading. Imitation can be valuable to learning, but more important is learning the boundaries of reader expectation. Of course, you can write a corporate stockholders’ report in sonnet form or a poem as a statistical table if you think that will elicit the desired response from the reader and enable-empower your personal voice, but reading sharpens your judgement about all that. Also (to keep from spending too much time reinventing the wheel) a study of rhetorical devices never harmed a writer in any way I’ve ever heard of. Good luck listening to the sound of your writing!
