Fascism is a political system that is extremely right-wing, nationalistic and a dictatorship. It has capitalism as its economic base making it strongly apposed to socialism and communism. The Italian fascists under Mussolini started the idea but Adolf Hitler and the German/Austrian fascists took it even further including eugenics in its policies and therefore killing Jews, Gypsies, Slavs along with anyone who was physically or mentally handicapped. There are many fascist organizations around the world, all having different names. The term "Nazi" ONLY refers to German and Austrian fascists, but it is used by many inaccurately.
