Questions About My Overall Gpa

GPA question?

Easy!
Lets first calculate what you'll get this semester
4*3.3= 13.2 <-- this represents the 4 classes you're getting with a B+
2*2 = 4 <-- this represents the 2 classes you're getting a C in

13.2 + 4 = 17.2 <-- the total points you got this semester.

Now, since its out of 4.0 you have to do this

4*6=24 <-- this is the total points you COULD have gotten if you got a 4.0
17.2/24 = 71.6% <-- your percentage.
71.6% = 2.865/4.0. 2.685 will be your GPA for this semester. Now lets do the same thing we did but for your overall gpa.
108/160 = your GPA for last semester (or 2.74/4.0)
125.2/184 = 68% or 2.72

so the answer is 2.72

GPA. question?

My GPA. is now 3.280 - the update on my gpa is pending until the professor decides he will enter the grades.

I just completed two courses, one I recieved 1 point out of 1-but he entered a grade of (S) The second course I recieved a grade of 92.27 (in the overall course, I got 11 problems wrong / loss points for the entire term). Acording to the syllibus-92.27 =A. Would the (s) cause a decrease in my overall gpa-given the fact that you can only earn 1 point? If yes or no, based on what i have stated, what would my GPA be?

Alpha kappa alpha gpa question?

As a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, I suggest that you contact your school's administration and ask what a 2.5 would be the equivalent to in terms of a 'letter grade.'

AKA's corporate office will make the final determination as to your GPA, but if you've made your interest known to current members of your school's chapter, you can ask one of them.

Good Luck! AKA is the ONLY way!

In response to the question about the 1.8 GPA, I have a total of 16 credits and need 23 to graduate, say I received all high A's my senior year, what would my GPA jump to?

GPA question, math needed!?

I would like to find out if my overall GPA for my entire four years of school is going to be a 3.0.
My overall for the past three years was a 2.976, very close to a 3.0. If this year I have a GPA of 3.44 and you somehow add the two and find the average, would the overall GPA be at least a 3.0? I have no idea how to work this problem (if I did, I probably wouldn't have to worry about my GPA) It sounds simple but I can't figure it out, any help is GREATLY appreciated!

If I end up with a 3.0 GPA this semester, will my overall GPA sink below a 3.5?

dont freak it depends it may it may not it depends on how high your average is and how many courses you have taken; relax its not a tragedy ; plenty of people have a bad semester; you will be fine; dont make yourself crazy; you will be fine

I have a 1.9 overall GPA and I’m a junior in high school. What should I do to boost up my GPA at least to a 3.0 or higher?

Assuming an Unweighted GPA, then you can Not get it to 3.0 or higher by graduation, assuming:You take the same number of courses (credits) junior and senior years as you took freshman and sophomore years. You have a 1.9 over 2 years. If you get All A grades as a senior and a junior, then you will have a 4.0 average over those two years. Assuming the same number of courses/credits for the first two years as the last two years, then(1.9 + 4.0 ) / 2 = 2.95You would need to take some Extra courses/credits in junior and senior year and get all A grades. All the best.
