Questions Concerning Bladder

What is the risk of bladder cancer from taking Actos over a long period of time (quantified)?

While there hasn't been any essential research concerning bladder cancer, Actos has serious side effects concerning the urinary tract. If you are having symptoms of a urinary tract infection on a chronic basis I would definitely talk to my doctor about switching to a different medication.

I have a very shy bladder but am joining national guard will this be a big problem?

I spent 4 years in the Navy with a shy bladder. I made it through somehow. During OCS, when we were all herded into a room to give a urine sample, I "borrowed" some urine from another guy. Fortunately his urine was OK. There were a couple of days that I held it all day and could barely stand it until I got back to the barracks and could go into a stall. After OCS, I didn't really have too much trouble, as long as I could find a stall with a door on it I could go, and most of the time the restrooms were empty so I was OK. I am working on this with a pareuresis group in Baltimore. I am much better than back then. You can make it! We need you

Air Force Basic Military Training (BMT) questions.?

I'm just spoke with a recruiter today about joining and am very sure that I am going to get in. My only concern is at MEPS taking the urine test; I have a very bad shy bladder (cannot piss with people watching or in hearing distance). I need to overcome this before MEPS or else I'm screwed I'm guessing. So I'm just going to list my questions in numerical order.

1. What is the piss test like a MEPS and what are your tips with someone with a shy bladder like myself.
2. What are the urine tests like after MEPS (is there any at BMT, Tech School, etc.)
3. How often are you able to go to the bathroom at BMT (will I be able to use the stall every time and how often am I allowed to go and can I ask to go during certain situations.
((Sorry about all the bathroom/urine test questions, you would only understand how concerning it would be if you had this problem, I can take the jokes but prefer the serious answers)).
4. What is showering like. I know there is no privacy whatsoever and I'm ok with that but I heard it's 2 minute cold showers once a day after PT?
5. What time are you awake from and what time do you go to sleep.
6. After the 8 weeks at BMT, how long is tech school. I heard it's different for every career but while at tech school what are the living conditions like. Are you in your own room or do you have to live like bunk beds in the same room as 20 other people like BMT. Also after Tech School and you're in your career what is the living situation like.

Urinary system question?

2. Renal pelvis--> Ureter--> Urinary bladder--> Urethra

In what ways can antibiotics give you a bladder infection?

No the may not. However some may cause dehydration and dryness in mouth. Dehydration also sometime causes burning in urine and pain in lower abdomen that you may be correlation as a symptom of infection. Taking probiotics with antibiotics and drinking more water shall help hydration, better stools and preserve healthy bacteria in the GUT and cause fewer or no synptoms. Wish you all the best.

Likelihood of a teenager with bladder cancer?

I'm an 18 year old girl and recently went to the doctor with UTI symptoms. They tested my urine and the UTI test came back negative but they found traces of blood in my urine. My other symptoms include frequent urination, feeling like I have to urinate when nothing comes out, and pain around my pelvic area. The doctor pressed around my stomach and I felt pain in the left side of my pelvic area. They did a urine culture to see if maybe the first UTI test was wrong, but I'm still waiting on the results. I seem to have many of the symptoms of bladder cancer although I read that the chances in a young female are next to none. Should I be worried?

Why doesn't my bladder feel empty?

I'm 15. Haven't experienced much, don't know a lot about what should be going on "Down There", but what I do know is that what I'm experiencing is irritable, annoying, embarrassing and concerning.

More recently when I have started going to the bathroom to pee, I feel like I'm busting. I go, but it kind of.. feels like I haven't peed it all out. I ignore it. Then maybe about ten minutes later I'm absolutely busting again and rush to the bathroom and pee out the tiniest bit.. just a trickle. But I've found myself rushing to the bathroom several times to get rid of the extra pee. My bladder never really feels empty. On occasions I've actually leaked a bit and it's so embarrassing. I've found straight after I pee, I go lay down, and I feel full again I stand up.. walk to the toilet and nothing will come out. I think it could just be mental but more recently it's been starting to get itchy and irritable during and after urinating. The slightest burning sensation. It's uncomfortable to deal with and I just want somebody to tell me what's happening!

After removing the gall bladder, which of the six nutrients might you have to restrict?

This relates to the secretion of bile.
One of the most important functions of bile is to make fat soluble( emulsify) so as to make its digestion possibe by lipase. So, in this particular case intake of lipids should be avoided.
