Ramadan. What Do You Think Of This Saying Of Isa

What do you say at the end of Ramadan?

Alhamdo Lillah to myself, Eid Mubarak to fellow Muslims!

How do you say “Happy Ramadan” in Arabic?

The literal translation of “happy Ramadan” would beRamadan sa‘īdIt is written in Arabic asرمضان سعيدHowever most people greet others with:“Ramadan Karīm” (generous Ramadan) in the Arab worldOR“Ramadan mubaarak” (congratulations on Ramadan) in South Asia

Ahmadis or qadianis what do you think of this?

the prophet (pbuh)says :
"In My Ummah, there shall be born Thirty Grand Liars (Dajjals),
each of whom will claim to be a prophet,
But I am the Last Prophet; there is No Prophet after Me."
(Abu Dawood Vol 2 p. 228; Tirmidhi Vol 2 p.45).

that's not enought proof that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was a false prophet?

What do you say when opening and closing your ramadan fast?

When starting the fast :"Nawaietu Un Asooma Ghadan Lillaahi Ta'aalaa Min Faradi Ramadaana Haazaa (I intended for the sake of Allah that I will observe obligatory fast of this Ramadaan tomarrow)"When breaking the fast : "Allaahumma laka sumtu wa ‘ala rizqika aftartu (O Allaah, for You have I fasted and by Your provision I have broken my fast)."It is important to note that its not obligatory to say anything when starting or breaking the fast. Even if you don't say anything but have the desire to fast then the fast is still valid. The intention to fast is more important then supplications.

What do I say to a Muslim friend at the end of Ramadan?

I find the time of Ramadan a great opportunity to allow the Holy Spirit to talk to the hearts of Muslims. I do this this through a quick and simple prayer of blessing. Keep in mind first with the permission of the recipient. This is basic format my prayer to my Muslims friends. Almighty god of creation I thank you for bless my friend (name) during this time of fasting, as he has been seeking you in this time I thank you for the revelation and plan you have for (names) life. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. One jump in saying this does not work or is against policy ect. on Sunday I pop into a Muslim shop I often frequent presenting the gospel of Jesus. But this time was for business. when we completed our business I turned to leave, and heard behind me, “Doug you can not go till you have prayed and blessed me.”Oh man - I just love Jesus

Is there an appropriate greeting for Ramadan?

Now coming on the main topic “Ramadan Kareem” or “Ramadan mubarak”:For that conflict scholars have said that the word Kareem means generous which means Ramadan is generous, which eventually leads one to believe that it's Ramadan which is generous not ALLAH whereas the holy Qur'an itself starts with بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم which means “in the name of ALLAH the most merciful and gracious .“Also Al Kareem is one of the ninenty nine names of ALLAH whose interpretation is :Al-Kareem (The Generous One): One who recites this name will have esteem in this world.Hence to say “Ramadan Kareem” is not a wise way to greet one another. Rather say Ramadan mubarak and be happy. Since quarreling for such petty is not cause of this month. Do lots of good deeds and earn lots of reward since your rewards in this blessed month (NOT GENEROUS) is multiplied.May ALLAH grant us better understanding and may HE accepts our endurance and patience during the fasting."Oh you who believe fasting has been prescribed for you like it was prescribed for those before you that you may obtain taqwa.”-Surah baqarah (chapter 2)So the wisdom behind the obligation of fasting is to gain taqwa of Allah the Mighty and Majestic by doing what He has ordered and avoiding what He has prohibited. And it has been established that the Prophet peace and blessing be upon him said:“Whoever does not abandon falsehood in word and action, then Allah Mighty and Majestic has no need that he should leave his food and drink”.Therefore fasting is worship for Allah and cultivation for the soul and a safeguard for it from the prohibitions of Allah. And it is not like this one without knowledge has said that due to the nobility of this month and it’s blessing, sinning is allowed in it.“Note : this is my personal understanding of this question. People with other references and better analytics are much respected by me. You are not bound to follow what I say. Just confirm it first whether it coincides with sunnah and the quran.السلام علیکم (peace be unto you)

During Ramadan, can muslims watch television?

I don't see why not. I guess it depends on what you watch and listen to. My parents listen to Qur'an being recited and watch prayer on TV; what's wrong with that?

Ramadan --> Was Prophet Isa Alaihis Salam a carpenter...?

The Christians say that Joesph was a carpenter, so maybe Prophet Isa AS learnt that trade as well.

I don't know what Islam says about it.

edit

The Islamic sources do not report a marriage for Maryam, nor do they mention Joseph, nor a later marriage, nor any siblings for Jesus (peace be upon him).

thanks for your post I have learnt something new today.

What do you know about Maryam (Mother of Isa)?

Yes she was exalted over all women, she was very pious, came from a blessed family. The pains of child birth drew her near a date-palm tree which Allah gave sustenance through to her (from that tree). Please if you can't say anything nice or authentic, don't say anything at all.

Appreciate your cooperation :)
