Ramadann What Does It Mean When Many People Leave You

::Ramadan:: What to do when?

Poverty strikes you?

Sometimes it is hard to keep calm and keep saying it will get better, alhamdulilah alhamdulilah, when your mother stresses even though it is bad for her since she is ill and you feel guilt. Or perhaps you could lose your home and have to go somewhere else...

Authobillah... we should always be grateful and look at the ones who are below us...

What can one do? Any duas...?

Is there anything you wanna say to people regarding Ramadan?

Yesterday I commented on a answer. That answer was about “if Ramadan was a Hindu festival ,this how our paid media and journalist would reacted on social media.”After reading that answer I became very angry and I post a comment that why don't you write something after two months because Eid UL ADHA is coming. That comment is not present there because I deleted it yesterday night reason was so simple that some of the meme are saying the truth about our fast.Let see the how we iftar or what we eat after break our fast.Or this in other countriesOr thatHow we attend taqwa after doing that all. We should lose weight during the Ramadan and definitely people always gain weight. If you eating less Ramadan you are successful because Ramadan is month of Quran not month of food and food festivals.Don't forget what our prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was eats for more than one month ? only dates and water and we are unmat of that prophet. Are we following sunnah of our prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.Follow the sunnah of prophetFill your stomach with 1/3 of food , 1/3 of water and 1/3 of air.

Ramadan section - I guess this means goodbye?

After more than a year wasted on this section, I have decided to leave once and for all. I have met so many great people here. Most of you guys are super awesome and a minority of you are plonkas. Please don't hold any grudges against me if I've been rude. Salams.

p.s. Birdy also says bye but he is upset because a few of his feathers are missing, someone plucked them out :(

Are there any Muslims who don't fast on Ramadan?

Unfortunately there are many who don't fast. Also there are many misconceptions. Most non muslims think that Islam is so strict that a person has to fast no matter what. There are many conditions under which a muslim is allowed to not keep fast. Few of them include :- 1. If person has disease which can get severe because of fast.2. If person is too old to fast.3. If person is in travel and would find it difficult to fast.4. If a lady is pregnant or has a child which needs breast feeding.5. Also it is not mandatory for a small child. After a certain age only its mandatory. As you can see from above conditions most of the genuine hard conditions are taken off. So Islam does not mean to torture you. It takes care of unreasonable situations. Now, coming to the second part of your question. Muslims eat at least two meals. One early morning(Sehr) before sunrise and one straight after sunset(Iftaar). Sehr is in fact is encouraged and it is explicitly asked by Prophet that people should do Sehr and not avoid it. In most other religions concept of eating early morning is not there. Therefore, it becomes harder to fast.  As far as eating a lot is concerned, the human stomach has some capacity and certainly no one can stuff more then that. Actually, it is not that hard to fast. Once you have fasted for the first few days, the rest becomes easy. In fact even kids as young as in 9th standards keep full fast without any problem. Ramadaan does not mean a muslim should leave all work and just lie like an animal. And certainly it is no torture. The pleasure you get when you put the first morsel of food in your stomach at Iftaar and first sip of water is unparalleled. It will make you realise how important water is, and how important any food which you do not even think of eating normally is. You will start feeling for those who have no food to eat. Saying this is different, but ones you experience it you would understand better. Also it will make you more thankful to God, that he made you lucky enough to enjoy these things without any contribution of yours.

Ramadan, I heard Muslims say, "take beer, take beer!" Are they encouraging me to drink with them?

Takbir,,, a verb in arabic.. which means "Allah is greatest" to initiate the move in a prayer or exclaimation to say "Allahuakhar".... "Allah is greatest"

Ramadan: women should stay inside...?

Sources:

Surah Al-Ahzab [33:32-33]

"O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah , then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech."

"And stay in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet's] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification."

EDIT: Hey? calm down.

I only posted the Sources, since that's what you asked for !

I am yet to research on this, and that's why I didn't write any answer of my own.
But I do agree with your arguments, they are 100% reasonable.
I just searched, and found this interesting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7u5V0FZuT...

A quick advice for you if you don't mind: Whenever you find anything in Islam, or Quran, as contradictory / illogical / unreasonable / etc - please do NOT start objecting the religion or its laws - at least not in that way - I used to have 100s of questions too, similar ones, and I have eliminated (resolved) almost all of them, one by one. Alhamdulillah !

Most of the times, things are innovated into the religion (that often contradicts Quran), and sometimes, things are either taken out of context OR we are incapable of understanding the reasons behind the laws of Islam, that needs a lot of patience and open-mindedness to comprehend.
