Rank These Wrestler From Best To Worse In Terms Of Wrestling Ability

Is John Cena the most overrated wrestler in pro-wrestling history?

For the fans tired of the PG13 era - Yes. In history - No! Cena/Supercena is actually a much better wrestler than a lot of other wrestlers. ALberto Del Rio even said that he took commands from Cena during their fights because he respected Cena's knowledge of the art form. He might have 5 moves of doom, but see his recent matches with Punk, Bryan and Rollins and you will see he has so much more than that. The few most over-rated wrestlers in the history of WWE are -  1. Hulk Hogan - The undisputed king of Over-rated performers. Come on, name one match that had pure wrestling ability showcased. He is so slow, so mediocre in ring and so bad at wrestling, I sometime wonder why performers like Ricky Steamboat never got ahead of him. Then again WWE would be nowhere without him. 2. The Ultimate warrior - Pretty mediocre in the ring. He made that up in intensity. No good moves in the arsenal. And ending the match with a SPLASH!. Who cant kick out of that? 3. Kevin Nash - Big daddy cool diesel comes next in on the list. Pathetic. Quad tear jokes! - you get the point. 4. Goldberg - Rated as being dangerous to work with. The man has no move set at all. See his match with William regal and you will know what I mean. 5. The Rock - The great one!. Sad to see him in this list. Lets be honest - He wasn't a great wrestler. He was a great entertainer though. The best , any day, anytime. But not a good enough wrestler. 6. John Cena - obvious 7. Ryback, Roman Reigns and others - The list shall continue

Is greco roman wrestling better than bjj?

Greco Roman wrestling is a very specialized and limited grappling style. It only permits attacks above the waste and you can't use your legs for offense. The only two reasons I can see doing it are a) because one wants to compete in Greco Roman competitions and/or b) one wants to improve one's clinching and throwing skills, which GRW excels at.

Freestyle or Folk Style wrestling is another matter entirely. It's the sort of wrestling you're likely to see at the high school and collegiate level. They allow for lower-body takedowns like single- and double-leg takedowns, foot sweeps, and so on in addition to the upper-body lifts and throws found in Greco Roman wrestling. They also have more freedom when it comes to controlling an opponent on the ground because they're allowed to both use their own legs to control the opponent, and hook the opponent's legs. The cradle, a signature pinning technique from these styles of wrestling, is illegal in Greco Roman, for instance.

As for how the techniques compare to BJJ, they have many more differences than similarities. BJJ for instance uses the gi (uniform) to control and attack their opponent. Unlike wrestling, submissions (chokes and joint locks) are allowed, and one cannot win simply by pinning the opponent.

If you're thinking about self-defense, BJJ would help you out more. It will teach you how to escape bad positions on the ground and how to choke your attacker into unconsciousness if necessary.

Is Eddie Guerrero The Best Wrestler Ever?

I recently watched an episode of WWE Countdown. Eddie made #6 for "Greatest High Flyer".

Several superstars gave their own thoughts on Eddie Guerrero. And CM Punk (Former WWE Superstar) said he is the BEST Wrestler of all time. He even said he's better then Ric Flair. He named another great WWE legend, just can't remember who. Point is, Punk said Guerrero is by far the best.

We all have our own opinion. And in my opinion, Guerrero can be considered one of the best. His in ring ability, mic skills, gimmicks and overall passion for Wrestling is what grabbed everyones attention. He had plenty of memorable feuds.. This guy was just fun to watch.

You don't have to agree with CM Punk when he says Eddie is he best wrestler ever... But at least tell me where you would rank Eddie Guerrero and why?

Does anyone else think the Miz is overrated?

Maybe it's just me, but he's not a show stopper like Kofi, or Orton, or Gabriel.
His wrestling skills are only moderate. anyone agree?

BQ: another thing, it annoys me how he acts like smackdown is nothing, and how only the WWE Championship and Raw matter, I notice he acts like the Heavyweight belt is no more than the US belt. anyone else notice this?

Does anyone else find Dolph Ziggler extremely overrated + BQ?

The "show off" gimmick has been done so many times, and technically speaking, EVERY wrestler is a show off. His personality is just so bland. He has no microphone skills whatsoever; that's why the creative team has attached Vickie Guerrero onto him for so long. He actually had to resort to wearing pink just to stand out, and even that only works for Damien Sandow..

His in-ring ability isn't bad but it isn't the best. People claim he's been "paying his dues".. exactly how? He played a forgettable role in the Spirit Squad, got sent back to FCW and it took him THIS long to get over. Does that not say anything? He's just not good at all in my opinion.

What's your take?
