Read This I Need Your Help

Please read..i need your advice and help!!?

i'm 14 and in 8th grade and almost a year ago, in 7th grade, i went out with this guy who was pretty much obsessed with me since the first time he saw me [in the middle of 6th grade] and after about a week he broke up w/ me..blah..blah. and he still flirted with me for about 2 weeks, then completley stopped talking to me. but stared at me alot through the rest of the year, and in the end of the year he wanted to talk to me really bad after school when he was with all his friends, but i was scared to only because i knew my face would turn bright red [and this was the biggest mistake in my life yet] and i said something like "i dont wanna talk to him, i have nothing to say to him..etc" and he never tried talking to me again and i thought just because he dosent like me. yesterday at dinner i talked to my mom about him..AGAIN and she said he dosent show he likes me because i embaressed the sh!!+ out of him in front of his friends and he thinks if he tries anything he'll be rejected again.

then i talked to a girl i used to be close friends with who is kinda aquatencies with him and she said last year i was the only thing he talked about and he told her "cassandra is so hot, cute & i wanna date her so bad"
and now this year in gym and math class i often see him looking at me a little bit and my best friend said when hes near me he blushes.

i really wanna talk to him and try for another chance before we go to seperate high schools..but im scared of talking to him myself, cause im terrified he'll just walk away. and he dosent show much interest in me, but ALL my friends and my mom thinks he likes me, but they have no proof.
i sent him a friend request on myspace about a week or 2 ago, he added me, then deleted me about 5 minutes later.

should i try talking to him? or should my friend?
do you think he still likes me or could like me again???
please give me advice and courage to talk to him and what i should say!?!?

*btw* me, my mom & friends all agree i look wayy better and prettier than i used too when he liked me A TON..but now i dont know what i did wrong and why he wouldnt like me?
also he dosent ever flirt with other girls or anything.
[also plz answer the title question]

i feel like we're both not done with each other yet and like something is still there. does that even mean anything??

Please help me, I badly need your help. I will give the most informative answer 10 points. thanks again.?

First, the wreckage of society means the downfall of society. In this case, as the previous poster mentions, it means the increasing incoherency in grammar usage.

The introduction uses a quote from Gone With the Wind to draw a analogy to a similar dynamic between grammar and the Internet. In this case, those profiting from the Internet (Microsoft and IBM, according the the author) are profiting from the "wreckage of society," or the downfall of the English language.

As for number of examples, it depends on examples of what. If you mean examples of bad grammar, there are four:

Earlier last year, an American televi-
sion news announcer—whose name I didn’t
catch—was commenting on the Senate
impeachment hearings, and what she said
still boggles my mind. “It’s just getting inter-
esting-er and interesting-er.”

former US Secretary of State Alexander
Haig (“a dialectic fashion at one end of the
spectrum”),

aspiring presidential candidate
Dan Quayle (“We Republicans understand
the importance of bondage between a
mother and child”),

and many of our lead-
ers in Canada (anything Jean Chrétien says)
are all poor communicators

I'm not sure about the paragraphs because the format of the article didn't convert very well.

Good luck!

Can anyone read Chinese? I need your help.

Hi! I do know how to read Mandarin Chinese but just in case whatever it is that you need help with is beyond my knowledge, try downloading “Pleco.” It is a very easy to use sort of dictionary application. It can translate English words to Chinese characters and vice versa. You can even take a picture of the Chinese text and it’d just translate it for you.Good luck!

How much should I read every day about self help?

Thanks for A2A. I believe it depends on the amount of time u can concentrate. If u r really passionate and already habituated to spending long hours on reading, u can put time limits like ‘I will complete this book in 1 week or this weekend’. If u r a starter, better go with 1 or 2 pages per day. Personally, I used to complete a book in 15–20 days while I was working. In holidays it was like 1–2 days per book as that was the only thing I did from morning till night. If u really like the book u r reading, I would suggest you to complete it as quickly as possible. Particularly for self help, understand what you are reading and how the book can help you and then move on. Hope I answered your question adequately.

I need help reading a death certificate from 1925. Can anyone read cursive and translate?

This is my Grandmother's Sister's Death Certificate from 1925. She died at less than a year old. Can anyone read the cursive handwriting to tell me how she died?

Anyone who's read the book speak I need your help please?

The last page of the book:

IT happened. There is no avoiding it, no forgetting it. No rinning away, or flying, or burying, or hiding. Andy Evans raped me in August when I drunk and too young to know what was happening. It wasn't my fault. He hurt me. It wasn't my fault. And I'm not going to let it kill me. I can grow.

I look at my homely sketch. It doesn't need anything. Even through the river in my eyes I can see that. It isn't perfect and that makes it just right.

The last bell rings. Mr. Freeman comes to my table.

Mr. Freeman: "TImes up, Melinda. Are you ready?"

I hand over the picture. He takes it in his hands. and studies it. I sniff again and wipe my eyes on my arm. The bruises are vivid, but they will fade.

Mr. Freeman: "No crying in my studio. It ruins the supplies. Salt, you know, saline. Etches like acid." He sits on the stool next to me and hands back the tree. "You got an A+. You worked hard at this." He hands me the box of tissues. "You've been through a lot, haven't you?"

The tears dissolve the last block of ice in my throat. I feel the frozen stillness melt down through the inside of me, dripping shards of ice that vanish in a puddle of sunlight on the stained floor. Words float up.

Me: "Let me tell you about it."

PS, NeverShoutNever is amazing.♥
