Really Good Lush Products

What are some good lush products for acne?

I love LUSH! I seriously go there like every weekend. :3
Anywho, we both have the same skin type. Only, I have some mild rosacea from previously using a lot of really harsh skin stuff on my face. :/
I highly recommend Fresh Farmacy. It's like a gift from the LUSH gods. I use it, and it made my skin 18643357 times better. This soap did NOT irritate my rosacea at all. If anything, it calmed it down while getting rid of my oiliness and acne. It also makes your skin super soft and really nice. c: If you're unsure though you can always ask them for a sample.
I recently tried their tea tree toner at the store and I loved it. I had smooth, oil-free, fresh skin. :3 I just ordered two bottles online. Definitely recommend. :)
However, the only thing I don't recommend is their Vanishing Cream. I got a sample of this stuff and I didn't like it. Their moisturizers get a lot of complaints for being too thick and not well absorbing. It could work for you though, just ask for a sample since they're pretty pricey.
The LUSH masks are also heavenly. I use Cupcake and Cosmetic Warrior, perfect for oily/acne skin types. :3

This is all the stuffs from LUSH that I use for my skin. I hope they work wonders for you too. c:

What Lush products are good for acne?

There are tons of possible combinations, but what you choose depends on your skin’s state and how you’d like your skin to feel. For instance, if you have dry and/or sensitive acne prone skin and you want your skin to feel calm, soft, and deeply hydrated, you could try Ultrabland. This is a thick cream cleanser that you massage into your skin and then wash off with a clean, warm washcloth. You might not need a toner and moisturizer with this one - in fact, it’s recommended that if you have acne, you try Ultrabland for a month with nothing else. You can use it even if your skin isn’t dry or sensitive. It will balance, soothe, and calm inflammation and irritation.I second what Sonakshi recommended - the best thing to do is to go into the shop and get a personalized consultation.Things to express to the staff:how you want your skin to feelyour ideal routine (how many products you want to use / how much time you have to spend taking care of your skin)what kind of feeling you like on your skin (super scrubby, light and clean, dewy, deeply hydrated, etc.)—Keep in mind that when you introduce a new skincare product to your routine, you need to be patient to see its effects. Your skin needs at least two weeks but preferably a month or more to start showing the results of a new skincare product. This is because roughly every 28 days, your skin goes through a period called desquamation where your skin cells shed and new ones come up.And remember that skincare products are only a compliment to keeping your skin healthy. Acne is a sign of an imbalance in your body. I know this all too well, having had acne for over 13 years and only now learning about how to properly heal it. Don’t feel bad about this! But some things to think about are that your skin can be affected by your diet, hormonal imbalance, vitamin deficiency, stress, and many other factors. Solving any underlying issues is the best way to cure acne. Then use awesome skincare like LUSH has to maintain clean, healthy skin.Of course, it’s important to know the difference between breakouts and acne. If you have spots on your face constantly, you likely have acne. If you just get a few spots that come up once in a while (like once a month), you just have a breakout and not acne (for which Grease Lightning could help tremendously).I could really talk about LUSH skincare products and acne solutions forever. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Do Lush products work good on skin?

I think Lush skin care is not good for oily skin I used the Vanishing cream and the Herbalism face wash it made my skin itchy with alot of pimples so I say if you have sensitive to essential oil avoid it this can break you out more like in my case I suggest to first asked for a sample before you buy the full size.

Are Lush's products good?

Heeyy and yes I love the products from Lush. I used to buy from them when they just opened, I tried the all natural hair henna, it was good. I've purchased their dream cream body moisturizer and sympathy for the skin body moisturizer. I have to say the best was Sympathy for the skin, it smelled great especially if you like vanilla and almond. I really like how they use all natural ingredients and everything has an expiration date. The cream felt nice on the skin, left it really soft, wasn't greasy and I smelled great! I'm going to buy some more soon. The Almond and Coconut Shower Smoothie was nice too. I love scents like that.. The bath balms are nice but I feel like they're kinda expensive if you like to take a lot of baths. The handmade soaps last forever! I hope this helped you. My friend bought the Ocean cleanser and swears by it, she thinks its the greatest. Check out their website if you haven't already www.lush.com..Everything they have is so much fun.

Which LUSH products should I buy?

First of all, I've NEVER shopped at LUSH. I would like a description of ALL the body, shower, bath, hair, and face products (or types of them, not every object). Like for bath, explain what the bath bombs are. Also, please explain top 15 products i should buy, i have warm AND dry skin. My budget is not more than $160. Remember, explain each type and tell me top 15... I'm a beginner

What Lush products to get?

I bought a few products from on of their stores after hearing so many beauty gurus raving about them. They smell so good and look really cute so I thought they would be amazing. I must say; I have never been more dissapointed about a beauty/bath product in my life. The bath bombs broke into two pieces after I popped them into the water. Yes, they still smell really nice, but not worth £5 pounds or whatever. I bought The Fizzbanger and another one I cannot remember the name of (Enchanted I think). The Fizzbanger is supposed to spin around and pop in the water like insane but mine did... Well nothing. It just fell to the bottom, broke into two and later broke into smaller pieces while it coloured the water a disgusting green colour. The other did pretty much the same. I also bought a few of these little pastels which you are ment to pop into a bowl of hot water and damp your face and it would reduce acne. Bullsh*t. Not worth the money, not worth the time.

Are Lush masks really good for your skin?

It depends what you mean by really good for your skin. They have a large range of masks which all have different purposes.Whether or not it is good for it’s marketed purpose/effects, you will have to see if there are ingredients that actually have that effect. All the nice marketing and fancy packaging in the world can’t make a cosmetic product better if it doesn’t have the right ingredients in it.For example, if a Lush mask says it can help brighten your skin - does it actually have any ingredients that are proven to help brighten your skin?If not, then we could probably say no it’s not good for your skin (goals). If yes, then absolutely it is good for your skin!On a related note:I always recommend checking products on Skincarisma.com or using an ingredient analyzer to know more about a product’s real effects. For the ingredient analyzer, just copy paste the ingredients of the product from Lush’s website into it and you’ll get the answers you seek! And as a disclaimer, I helped make the site ;)

Is it safe to use an expired Lush product?

Overall, it really depends on the product in question. I'd say it's never really UNSAFE to use any expired products, but some contain ingredients like eggs and milk which could potentially be pretty unpleasant to use if it's long after the expiry date. For others that don't contain these ingredients, I don't see the problem with using them at all - they'll do no harm at all, but other qualities such as colour, texture, smell, or effectiveness may be compromised slightly (e.g. old bath bombs don't fizz as much and won't look as pretty in water as fresh ones). For the products you've mentioned, they should be absolutely fine, especially if you've kept them refrigerated. Maybe add some water if they're a bit clumpy, and you'll be good to go.

Should i keep lush products refrigerated?

no, you do not need to refrigerate any products other than the fresh face masks. refrigerating them anyway won't make any difference. and no, don't refrigerate the lemony flutter. i love lemony flutter! it make my nails really healthy too since i apply tons of nail polish. it also softened up my elbows and even cleared up my eczema! really! try blackberry bath bomb. i can't explain the scent, but if you ever went to hollister, it smells like the store. it smells really good! also try creamy candy bubble bar. it smells so sweet, but don't just crumble it under the water. i wasted some of it by doing that and didn't produce any bubbles. get a chunk into a plastic bag and pound it with a rolling pin. then grab a handful and keep it under the water. you'll get lots of bubbles by doing that. good luck with your lush shopping!
