Could you recommend me a book to read about Islam from a secular point of view?
1. Muhammad: A Prophet for Our Time, by Karen ArmstrongArmstrong's book is considered more of a scholarly work when compared with other contemporary works.2. The First Muslim, by Lesley HazletonHazleton invests in the emotional elements and does not refrain from hypothesis and speculation.3. Mahomet and His Successors, by Washington IrvingI personally liked Irving's books better as they are independent of current situations, so their motives are more objective.
I haven’t read books in years, can you please recommend me some 'must reads'?
Since you haven’t read book for a while, it will take some time to get used to reading again. So, I would suggest to read some light novels. Some sci-fi stuff or thrillers to keep your mind into it. You can read these books:The Client or The Firm (by John Grisham)Some of the Agatha Christie’s books like (Murder on the Orient Express)The Girl on the Train (by Paula Hawkins)The old man and the sea (by Hemingway)Once you get used to reading again..you can start reading more and more good books like: The great Gatsby, Crime and Punishment, Wuthering Heights, 1984, The Catcher in the Rye….Hope it helps.Cheers!!!

Can anyone recommend me GOOD books to read? please?
I love reading but I can't find any GOOD books to read. [I emphasize GOOD because I don't want any twilight/vampire books or any "teenage whiny" books] I like transgressive fiction, any black comedy, or just satire. You know, novels "poking fun" about the taboo of sex, violence, drugs, and alcohol. I also like sci-fi, dystopian societies especially, and apocalyptic futures. Basically novels that make the reader think and laugh and feel slightly disturbed. Oh, and I like books whose characters have a mental disorder/illness, like schizophrenia and such. I don't mind if its fiction or nonfiction (but I prefer fiction). I've already read these books (these are just the ones I can remember), so don't even think about mentioniing them: Crime and Punishment I am the Cheese I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell A Clockwork Orange Black Book Lunar Park Less Than Zero If You Liked School, You'll Love Work The Book Thief Brave New World Fight Club Pygmy Haunted The Invisible Man The Kite Runner Catch-22 Slaughterhouse-Five Screwtape Letters Life of Pi Catcher In the Rye The Great Gatsby Tale of Two Cities 1984 Lord of the Flies To Kill a Mockingbird I'm thinking about reading these: Requiem for a Dream Naked Lunch We Need to Talk About Kevin The Road American Psycho The Girl Next Door A Beautiful Mind Brother Karamazov I'm only 14 going on to 15, so nothing too too hard
Please recommend books by Stephen King that are like The Dead Zone?
His non-horror books have nothing wrong with them. They dont have any gore or anything and are INCREDIBLE novels. Try: Hearts In Atlantis Bag of Bones The Green Mile Another would be Rose Madder, but I wasnt a huge fan of that one. Most people do like it though. Many people also like The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, but it just didnt do anything for me.
