Recurring Dream About Forgetting Something

Recurring dream i keep losing my car or forgetting where i left it.?

i also dream the same thing. I guess it bloody worry us because we do not want the same situation to happen again thats why our subconscious remind us to be alert at at all times. Bot for me. i keep on losing my way home.. it frightens me really bad... it happens to me when im always in low spirits...

But the feeling you had before is the same as you feel this days which is right. Are you worried of something these days? i think the car symbolizes someone really close to you or something really valuable. That you worry too much of losing this Its okay, because the subconcsious only releases our repressed darkest emotions...

What does a recurring dream about forgetting to attend/failing a class mean?

I still have this dream even though I graduated from college 3 and a half years ago.

Basically, I dream that it's a regular quarter, I'm taking 3 classes, but for some reason one of them I have forgotten to attend and therefore have missed a test (or more than one) jeopardizing my ability to pass the class. Or sometimes, I don't realize I've forgotten to attend until right before finals and I realize I'm screwed. Or, I dream that I have a quarter's worth of assignments that I need to make up before the quarter ends.

Sometimes, it's history. Sometimes, it's math. Sometimes, it's english. In college, I never failed a class, but got close once or twice. My parents were very rigid about grades. I actually usually did really well in school, but always feared failing a class due to some BS curve or ****** professor.

Anyone else have this type of dream? Or, have any insight into what it might mean?

What could a recurring dream about packing mean?

Every few weeks I start dreaming that I am packing to go away. I will be dreaming about something completely different but then it always turns in to a situation where without warning I have to pack up clothes and other things.
I am always in a rush like I have only a few hours, I can't find what I am looking for, I am not ready or I have forget to pack something.
Normally I am trying to get somewhere like an airport on time but forget to pack things like my passport. Normally I wake up before I get to the aiport or have all my things with me so I am always panicked. I constantly try to get to the 'end' of this dream but without any success. It always panicks me as I am always worried that i have forgotten something in real life and have a slight phobia of being unpreapared and of travelling in case I end up on the wrong train for example.
Can anyone help me stop having this dream or interpret it as it may not sound scary to anyone but i find it terrifying lol.
Thanks

What does forgetting shoes/socks mean in a dream?

I had a dream that I went to work. I soon realized that I had forgotten to put on socks/shoes and my ride had already left and i started panicking.

For some reason I feel like this is really symbolic? Maybe not, just wondering.

How can I stop dreaming about someone that I need to forget?

Very simply, you can not. If someone frequently figures in your dreams, it means there is still some emotional strength behind their memories. Just because you don’t want them in your dreams, you can’t wish them away. What you have to do is, examine why they still figure in your dreams i.e. why your mind still dwells on them. Hurt ego? Wounded feelings that refuse to heal? Strong disappointment? Emotional trauma? Or a similar situation is recurring in your life in another form? Regrets?Sometimes you have to accept the reality of separation. It is not easy but you must make the effort for your own good. Carrying a needless baggage from the past will not serve you any purpose.

What does dreaming about forgetting to feed pet fish mean?

I haven't had a fish for the past 5 years, since my pet fish died. Since then, I've been having recurring dreams where my fish is back inside a really dirty fish tank and I've forgotten to feed it. In the dream, I feel horrible about forgetting to feed it, but at the same time I think in the dream that it doesn't make sense how I could forget to feed it for so long. Then I feed it a bunch of food and the dream is over. I know it's weird, but does anyone know what it could mean? I have this dream about once or twice a week and it's always bothered me. I alwyays took really good care of my fish, so I don't know why I keep dreaming about it.

Why do I always have a dream that I've lost or forgotten something and trying to undo/correct the mistakes made?

I have had the same thing sometimes and never figured out why, so I looked it up a bit. According to the site below:“To dream that you are forgetting things signify life's anxieties. You are expressing an overwhelming amount of stress in your life. You feel the need to tend to everything and everyone's needs. Alternatively, forgetting something may represent your subconscious desire to leave that something behind.” (1)I agree; after we got married, I had a repeating dream about things going wrong, from the dresses not being ready, to no food for the guests….and anything else you can imagine. It was odd that I dreamed it after the wedding and not before!Perhaps I regretted having such a big “do” since it wasn’t much fun and more like having a catering job that fell flat.1. Your Dream Symbol Interpretation

I keep having a dream about me forgetting my bags for a vacation, and I'm stressed out in the dream because I'm trying to get it back. What does it mean?

Your dream is not about your bags. Or your trip. When, years ago, I was in a relationship that had become dysfunctional I was also traveling a lot to China on business and I would have what I called my China dreams. The plot was always the same: I’d be traveling in a big bus with other people to a factory or somewhere and realize I’d forgotten my laptop. Big problem because it was a wasted day without it. And somehow I didn’t have my bag so I was without my wallet also. I’d think okay, I’ll just have to call someone at the hotel to get it for me. But then I’d realize I’d also lost my cellphone. And I’d look around the bus and see that everyone else had got off the bus while I wasn’t looking and I was going somewhere alone with the bus driver, who spoke zero English. Somehow losing my cellphone was the worst part. Laptop, okay a drag, wallet, darn what a hassle— but not having my phone was devastating. And looking out the window I’d see that I was in some little Chinese village, totally out in the middle of nowhere. And the bus would drop me off there. And . . .You get the idea. I had this dream so often I remember sometimes in the dream I would think that I must be dreaming because I remembered it. I’d even test myself by looking at something, say a wall, and it would be there in such detail, cracks and mold and dirt, that I would think no, this is real and I’m totally lost. I’d wake up feeling both relieved and crappy.During my relationship breakup I was seeing a therapist and told him about this dream. He wasn’t impressed. He said immediately, “It’s not about China.”He was right. As soon as I started getting my life together again the China dreams stopped (even though I was still going there occasionally). Instead I started having dreams in which I found my cellphone. They were much more pleasant. So think about what’s stressing you out right now. That’s what the dream is about. Remove that stress and your dreams will become much more pleasant.
