What are these red bumps on my stomach?

Not every question is appropriate and effective for Yahoo! Answer and yours is one of them.

The problem here is that you call it "red bumps". In the field of dermatology, there are dozens of skin conditions with overlapping symptoms as general as "red bumps on my stomach". The point is that any response you obtain here is either spam or guesswork and nothing definitive (which is what you actually want). No one can honestly list you treatment options without knowing what it is.

Your description is vague at best.

No one can accurately diagnose your skin condition via cyberspace. Any advice you get here is never on par with that of a real doctor. If you want medical advice, then Yahoo! Answer is the last place you want to go and ask your question when you can see a pharmacist or doctor. The trade-off is huge: a medical physician versus a total random stranger with no knowledge of your medical history and skin condition. No honest person will tell you that s/he knows exactly what you have and give you the correct treatment protocol. That is what you call wishful thinking. If you do not know, then no one here knows, either.

Bottom Line: Please see a board-certified dermatologist.

A random spot appeared on my dog’s stomach. What is it and how can I treat it?

Looks like a hot spot, allergic reaction and possibly a staff infection. Under the guide of your Veterinarian you may be able to give him over-the-counter medication. However, not all OTC meds are safe for all dogs so contact your Veterinarian who is aware of your pets individual concerns and can be more specifically helpful.Spots like this however can be signs of underlying (and yet undiscovered) medical conditions, so please have your Veterinarian take a look at him.You may find some stuff at the pet store for “hot spots”, however I cannot account for how well it will work.

My dog has these weird red bumps/pimples on her stomach?

If they seem like large pimples (nickel size and larger and have a large whitish/yellow area with pus in it) it could be a staph infection. My fathers bird dog broke out all over her belly and in her armpits with it. She got it from running around in wet grass that had staph bacteria on it.
The staph infection must be treated with antibiotics, if this persists go to the vet for a check.

Dark red spot on my dog's neck?

Did the vet draw blood from her neck?? If so it could just be a bruise/hematoma from him drawing blood. If it get larger or causes discomfort I would definitely call the vet to have it looked at. Did he figure out why she had an upset stomach yet??

I hope she is feeling better soon!

What causes red spots on a dog's belly?

The last time I answered a question like this, the answer was, “That’s his nipple”. These questions REALLY need a photo.—Nipples aside, it’s the reaction to an allergy that is also the start of a big red sore. The little red dots are-what-they-are BUT, when the bacteria on the skin gets mixed with them (because bacteria and fungi etc are on the skin) they can become huge red sores, and then they can also become infected.Given that your pup appears to have an auto immune issue (grass or food allergy, or nipples), I advise you to do the best you can to keep those red dots from becoming worse. There’s a type of chlorhex that can be diluted at a ratio of something like 1.4 and that stops the dots from getting worse if applied twice weekly. Don’t use any chlorhexadine, only ONE will work and is suitable.Another great product is ‘CETAPHIL BABY Daily Lotion’. It’s more effective than the steroids the vet can prescribe. It’s miracle cream. If you want to treat this problem as best as possible with the smallest expense, and if you’re in Sydney Australia, go to the Holistic Vet. This is an issue of the whole body, it’s not just a bunch of symptoms to be treated as such. The Holistic approach is the way to go for a case like this.If you must go with the standard vet, there’s a new drug on the market, Apoquil, that’s also very effective for this sort of issue. My dog started acupuncture last week and it’s made a huge difference! He is now happy in his skin with his holistic meds, I cook his food for him (tin food inflames these things), and he has acupuncture. It took 5 years to get to this point, and a lot of $. Hopefully, for you, there’s Quora, so keep asking and please post photos with your questions if you want to get the very most out of an educated answer. Good Luck!

After an abdominal ultrasound, my dog has red itchy spots where the gel was put on. What should I do?

Go see a Vet!!!!!!!!

Round red spot near my dogs tail....loss of hair?

I have 2 year old blue heeler (Australian cattle dog) that has been biting at a spot near his tail. I thought it was a food allergy but have since change his food back to what he had before. I have been applying an anti itch cream which helps. He is biting the hair off leaving a red spot in a perfect circle. There are not any raised areas like ring worm usually does.
