Renting A Car Near Lax For Under 21 Year Old Without Insurance

Where can a 19 year old rent a car in PA?

Good luck...
Most national rental companies require a renter to be 21, some 25. Being a holder of a major credit card is also pre-requisite.

There is a local company here called "rent-a-wreck."
In spite of their name, they rent reliable used older cars.
You might check them out, I think they are franchised. Maybe their policies on renters are more lax.

Where can I park my car near LAX for around $50 a month?

I live an hour away from LAX. I am going to another country for a month and I need to find a storage or parking space. I don't want to park my car outside of my apartment just on the street. I want to park it inside or under roof.

I checked all the parking lots near LAX and U haul storage, but they easily cost more than $150 a month.

Do you know a place I can park my car for around $50 a month?
It doesn't have to be near LAX because I can take a shuttle there... but I prefer it to be near LAX.

Thanks in advance.

Can I rent a car in California if I'm 18 years old?

Sorry for the delayed response. Unfortunately you have to be at least 21 yrs of age to rent with most major car rental companies. If you try maybe one of the less major rental companies like ‘Rent A Wreck’ (they’re not wrecks, their vehicles are just not as new as the major rental Co’s vehicles is all). Their age requirement might be less. I wish I was able to give you the answer yes, but I was not about to tell you an untruth :-(.Even once you turn 21 you would be able to rent a vehicle but you would also incur what is called a ‘young renter’s fee’ which can be anywhere from an additional $10/day to $40/day. It isn’t until you have turned 25 that being able to rent a car becomes a lot easier. Hope this helps to answer your question.Hope you enjoy your trip to California!! :-)

We are taking our two year old to Disney World?

Don't let kapn's comments bother you. We took each of our 3 kids to Disney when they were about 1-2 years old. They loved it and we loved it. I wouldn't trade those memories for any price. Also, it's nice to take them while they still get in free!

A couple of tips:
1) Take advantage of the various baby care stations throughout the parks. They are extremely nice and provide a nice place to get away from the sensory overload of the parks while you change/feed your daughter.

2) We found taking time off in the afternoon was a big help. It keeps them from getting too tired out over the entire trip.

3) If she enjoys particular movies, find a character meal with those characters. You'll all love it. Our son loved Little Einsteins and some of the best memories/pictures from our trip was when he got to meet them. The characters spend lot of time with you at the character breakfasts. If she's into princesses, you'll need to try to book that exactly 180 days out. The princess breakfast at Cinderella Castle fills up within minutes of becoming available. That's actually generally good advice during the free dining time, which is during late August - late September.

4) The price on rental strollers nearly doubled last year. It's now pretty expensive to rent a stroller at Disney. If you have a good stroller that folds easily, take it rather than renting.

5) Buy Disney with Kids by Kim Wright Wiley. It has lots of good information in it that other books don't give like "scare factor" for rides and how kid friendly each restaurant is.

6) Buy trip insurance since September is the height of hurricane season. It's not that expensive and even covers things like somebody getting sick or your car breaking down preventing you from making the trip.

Car rental for 19 year olds in California?

My cousin and I are going to visit family over spring break, and her dad offered to reimburse the cost of a rental car for us. We both have PA licenses with spotless records, our own insurance, and major credit cards. However, we're both only 19 (I'll turn 20 while we're there, not that it matters much). Are there any SAFE LAX-based companies that will rent to us? We really need a car since our family has work during the day and they already carpool as it is, but it seems that no matter how "honest" we sound, no one will rent to teenagers.

I am 25 (Indian) and earning Rs. 9 lakhs per annum. How much should I save and where should I invest?

The basic thing about saving is that first you have to identify, what are your most important expenses which are unavoidable and what saving is must to avoid tax. Then go and add and see what you must save.9 lakh p.a means appx 75 thousand per month. Now out of this you have to fill the following:Do you have rent to pay, if it is , then Amount= …..Do you have some EMI running for home loan or car bought, then how much…What are your fixed electricity and home food expense? Amount=…….What are your work and weekend local travel expense or if your home is out of city then weekend travel too? Amount=What are your food expenses at office, you have tiffin or eat at some joint daily?Amount=….No Need of clothing expense as they are not monthly, so we will keep provision for it later. Now add 1+2+3+4=……. , this comes the amount which is the livelihood expense. Now if suppose this expense comes to be 15+10+9+6+4=44000 then you have 31000 left for other things.Out of this 31000, you have to take out 12000 appx for saving to be done in tax saving to save your income tax, by availing full 150000 deduction of 80CCC. This can be done by contribution to PPF or ETF mutual fund or LIC policies(but best avoid LIC policies much). Put some in term insurance and rest in PPF and MF.Now left is 19000, out of this, take out appx 2000 per month for medical insurance and other occasional health expenses.Annual -24000Left is 17000, take 5000 per month as your clothing and recreation fund which includes dining out and clothing. This seems low but if you take annual it comes to be 60000 annual. You can save on this and buy some gadget etc later if need to.Now 12000 is left, another 2000 you can take as misc expense provision.Left 10000, which you have to save at all cost to put in some good stocks or mutual funds. So now if you add no 13 and your tax saving investments, it comes to 22000 per month saving. If you donot have to pay rent then add 15000 to it, make a Recurring deposit in your bank account so they will deduct it from that. Thus without rent you must save atleast 30000–350000 per month adding all above. Given a grace of 5000 more for leisure if you have your own house.Rest choice is yours Deepak and as per your actual expenses, which you only will be able to tell, as this is just an indicative figures.
