What does the red "SRS" light mean on the Honda Accord?

How much oil does a 1996 Honda Foreman 400 4x4 ATV Take?

a forman 400 atv will hold approximately 2 ts of oil it should have a dip stick too check the level on the fill plug. make sure u buy a motorcycle grade oil or u will do damage too the clutch. regular automobile oil will damage the clutch. honda makes a 10-30 and a 10-40 for this machine which is your best bet. u should also replace the oil filter as well as the oil lubricates the internal transmission parts as well the the engine parts and since this machine is air cooled the oil does get very hot. although any atv grade oil such as arctic cat , yamaha, or suzukie will work.

I have a 2000 honda foreman es 450. It will not shift.?

My friend over in the next county has a Honda 420 rancher ES that went through the same thing with this same system. Paris Honda had it for 3 weeks before they managed to find the problem....

They finally determined that the small servo shift motor, although was being energized and was working, did not, for unknown reasons simply did not operate with enough push, or pull, or "umph" as it were.

IMHO, the brushes, or very small contacts in those shift motors get dirty, or get moisture in somehow or for whatever reason just don't transfer the power requirement necessary to effect the shift...

I am about to graduate with my Associate's degree also, studying this same problem with very small servo motors that control some parts of HVAC systems for commercial applications. -Currently holding a 3.8 GPA @ Grayson County College in Denison... right up the road from ya.

I have a 2002 honda recon 250 with no spark i replaced the spark plug and the battery.?

I would also check the ground wire. Make sure it is solid-no breaks and has a corrossion free mounting area. Then start checking contacts where the connectors join together. ATVS get a lot of jarring action and this could be a problem.

The issue could also be with the ignition switch itself.

I doubt it is the coil, as they usually don't "just drop dead" like you state that "it ran fine and just quit".

Get a service manual for the ATV and you will have all the electrical specs you need to do a good job. If you can't find the problem after running down a trouble shooting list in the manual then holler back.

How do I adjust an automatic clutch on a 2003 Honda Recon? It is not an ES model.?

The Honda Recon has an ajustment in the front of the case. you can find a large nut with a sloted inner adjusting screw in it. First insert a large straght slot into the middle and while holding it still, take a wrench and loose the large nut. Now with the nut loose turn the slotted screw in until your feel it snug. Now turn the screw back out 1/4 turn and hold it steady while you re-tighten the nut.

Where can i find parts for a xtreme machine atv?

This is exactly why you don't buy a Chinese Atv. Anyways the only website I found was motorpartsmall.com and they may also have a manual.

Honda trx ex 250 ???

the Honda trx 250ex is an automatic clutch (not a cvt) , the shift pattern is 5 speed all up, reverse would be down starting from neutral (it would require a switch or lever to be pressed in order to shift down in reverse)

hope this helps*****

What does it mean if your starter is making a grinding noise?

Honda Accord /Civic :Why Starter Making Grinding Noise1.Flywheel should be suspect firstly. You need go ahead and climb back under your 2006 Honda Civic or 2007 Honda Accord and remove the access panel under the bell housing of the transmission. This will give you access to the flywheel. Using a flashlight you can inspect the teeth on the flywheel for any abnormal wear, then use a ½ inch ratchet and correct size socket for the crankshaft pulley bolt, and turn the engine clockwise. This will allow you to slowly inspect the hidden areas of the flywheel that could be damaged. Be sure to mark the flywheel with white out or a marker so you can verify when you start and end as you rotate. If at any time you feel uncomfortable doing this, please enlist the assistance of a certified mobile mechanic. After check ,if the flywheel is damaged ,it will need to be replaced.2.If you are unable to see any issues with the flywheel itself, then the problem may lay in the electrical components of the vehicle. Some of the most common electrical problems are corroded electrical connections, an undercharged or bad battery, or a malfunctioning component:bad neutral safety switch (automatic transmission),bad clutch safety switch (manual transmission),bad starter relay, bad starter solenoid, corroded electrical connections in the starting circuit,worn-out part in the starter motor or some other system component. For example, the ignition switch has failed to supply proper voltage to the starting circuit causing the starter solenoid to partially engage which can create a grinding noise .In this case, you could check the battery/relay/solenoid /ignition switch. If it’s a small problem, you could buy some aftermarket replacements then fix it.If you aren’t sure and don’t know how to do ,maybe a new starter at hexautoparts for your honda accord civic or a certified mechanic can get you back on the road quickly and safely.Anyway,if you hear a harsh or grinding noise as you try to crank up the engine, you may have a loose starter motor (mounting bolts), or a flywheel or pinion gear with broken or worn-out teeth. If the gears on the flywheel and pinion aren't able to mesh properly, all you hear is the sound of metal teeth clashing loudly.Hope that helps.
