Replies On Twitter Now Showing Up On My Android Tablet

How do I view replies to a tweet on Twitter? How do I see public replies to just one of the tweets in the thread?

In general, how you see the replies to any tweet is to click or tap the tweet (depending on whether you are using a mobile device or a computer). In the same manner, any replies to a single tweet in a thread can be seen by tapping or clicking on that specific tweet. For example, here is one of my tweets as it shows in the timeline on Twitter on my computer:Click on that tweet, and you can see it’s replies:Clicking the reply brings up the reply and any replies to it.This is very helpful when reading some of the longer tweet threads people post. Bring up the first tweet of the thread and you will see the other tweets in the thread. Click any of those tweets and you will can read the responses to that particular tweet. There is a caveat: Not all tweets in a thread will have a response. In that case, you need to go to the bottom of the list of tweets in the thread - the responses will be there. Any response in that list can be seen by clicking or tapping on the “more replies” link. This link will show anytime there are more than three or four responses to a given tweet. See the blue line in this screenshot:I hope this answers your questions!

Why can't I see a reply on Twitter? It says there are two, but I only see one.

Yes, there are two replies, but you only see one. Why? Because the user who wrote the reply which you can’t see, has their Twitter account as private. When a twitter account is private, everything they post, retweet, like or reply, is hidden from everyone else, apart from those users that follow them (the private account).I hope that explains it.

Is there a way to view all public replies to an arbitrary tweet (not necessarily your own), and all the replies to those replies, and so on, on one page?

I’ve always had a lot of hassle navigating Twitter. I think you need to use it a lot to be able to get around easily. I spent about 5–10 minutes trying to find how to read replies to tweets, and ended up here. So I’ll tell you how to see replies, at least on a desktop, in June 2018. But it might be different next week. The obvious, clicking on the ‘comment icon’, doesn’t work.Clicking on the image to expand it, doesn’t work. There’s no ‘Details’ section to click on.. at least not on the desktop, or not in June 2018 anyway.Clicking on the “down arrow” doesn’t work. What you need to do is click on the frame around the tweet\image. If there isn’t an image then you can just click on the text. It might sound kind of obvious, but it’s not always intuitive since some tweets have no text except for some hashtags and an image, and you end up having to click on the side of the frame between the image and the border, so as not to accidentally click on a hashtag and be whizzed away somewhere else. This might seem obvious to somebody who knows it, or who uses Twitter every day, but for somebody who just uses it every now and again the UI isn’t that intuitive.

Twitter will not load when used with my WiFi connection at home. I have tried the Twitter app from my cell and tablet and the Twitter site from my laptop. In all three cases, when I try to connect with WiFi, it doesn't connect. What can be the problem?

The way you describe it seems like an issue with your ISP not allowing you access for some weird reason.I would recommend the following:1) Check up if Twitter is down on the Website: Down For Everyone Or Just Me -> Check if your website is down or up?If it shows that Twitter is down well then its a problem with their servers and something they need to fix. If it shows Twitter is up then its a more localized problem.2) Try a VPN service like Really simple apps for private access to the global internet. (Personal Recommendation) or HideMyAss to try and access the website, if it allows you to then it might be a problem with your ISP or DNS.3) On your laptop try setting your DNS servers to the Google DNS or Open DNS and try, if it works then it might have been a problem with name resolution. Public DNS - Google DevelopersInternet Security or DNS Service for your Business or Home - OpenDNS4) Another possibility is that something could be messed up with the settings in your router and what you could do is try to reset the router to factory settings and set it up all over again. If all this still doesn't make twitter work then it might just be a problem with your account in which case you would have to ask Twitter Support Twitter Help Center
