Responses To My Emails Not Appearing In Sent Folder. Last Response Seem To Not Be Actioned

If police is not taking action against fir then what can I do?

1. If you believe that after reasonable time, police has not investigated your complaint, you can send complaint to superior officer under section 154(3) of Crpc or Magistrate under section 156(3) of Crpc to Magistrate.2. If Police do not investigate your case or refused to register FIR then get a Summary Report. (it is report that give you reason under what circumstances, police has refused to registered your FIR)3. Thus, a Magistrate who on receipt of a complaint, orders an investigation under Section 156(3) and receives a police report under Section 173(1), may, thereafter, do one of three things:(i) He may decide that there is no sufficient ground for proceeding further and drop action;(ii) He may take cognizance of the offence under Section 190 (1) (b) on the basis of the police report and issue process; this he may do without being bound in any manner by the conclusion arrived at by the police in their report;(iii) He may take cognizance of the offence under Section 190 (1) (a) on the basis of the original complaint and proceed to examine upon oath the complainant and his witnesses under Section 200. If he adopts the third alternative, he may hold or direct an inquiry under Section 202, Cr PC if he thinks fit. Thereafter he may dismiss the complaint or issue process, as the case may be.4. you can also file direct complaint under section 202 of Crpc to the court.Just edit subject of complaint with above section as per complaint.File complaint or FIR online with www.ChintalessNagrik.com (Reg. What are my options if a company fails to honor my unsubscribe request?

Marking as Spam or JunkThe first thing that you can try is marking their messages as junk mail or report them spam within your email client. Gmail for example has a “report spam” button that you can click. It looks like this:Federal Trade Commission ComplaintThe next step that you can take is that if you are based in the US you can report this to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). In the US, the anti-spam legislation is called CAN-SPAM, and one of its requirements is that email marketing opt-out/unsubscribe requests must be honored promptly. The FTC guidance states that businesses:“must honor a recipient’s opt-out request within 10 business days. You can’t charge a fee, require the recipient to give you any personally identifying information beyond an email address, or make the recipient take any step other than sending a reply email or visiting a single page on an Internet website as a condition for honoring an opt-out request. Once people have told you they don’t want to receive more messages from you, you can’t sell or transfer their email addresses, even in the form of a mailing list. The only exception is that you may transfer the addresses to a company you’ve hired to help you comply with the CAN-SPAM Act.”Unfortunately consumers themselves cannot bring lawsuits against spammers - instead lawsuits must be brought by the FTC or by your internet service provider (ISP) in some cases. For reporting a CAN-SPAM violation to the FTC, you should:Email the Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov. Be sure to include a copy of the spam email and your request to unsubscribe. You can also report report a violation to your email provider, or the spammer’s email provider if you can figure out who it is:In both cases, send them an email, and at the top of the message, state that you're complaining about being spammed. Include all the details in your message, as well as including a copy of the spam email. The FTC recommends that if your unsubscribe request is not honored, you should file a complaint with the FTC.Even if it is someone else sending the emails on behalf of the hotel chain, the hotel chain is required (under CAN-SPAM) to ensure that anyone sending emails on their behalf also complies with CAN-SPAM. So they can’t get off the hook just by saying that it wasn’t actually them sending the emails.

Ebay: Seller provides wrong tracking number, does not respond to messages and item has not been delivered. I need the item immediately. What do I do?

How do you know the tracking is wrong?   Because the zip might not match or something?  I notice that updates to tracking are more delayed then usual.I don't think that you can get around waiting a reasonable amount of time to wait on the item.   Once shipped the seller cannot make it arrive faster.   I might avoid you as well since seller can only provide lip-service as to possible delay.  This idea of needing something immediate suggests that your expectations are on low side of delivery time-frame.  USPS has not been doing so well in those regards.   It looks to me that too many times they overwrite the original delivery estimate and stamp it delayed... oh well.   Seems like the closing of sorting facilities last year has finally done some damage.  First class estimates are changed from 3-5 to 4-5 and some statistics show that USPS is missing Service Objective greater then 50% of time for across country mail. That notwithstanding, a scam seller can mine for valid tracking numbers or re-use an old one.  I doubt such an individual can last long on ebay without self destructing.  If you know the tracking is bad but shows on system then don't waste your time filing not receipt claim.  Only bots read what is entered in assistance wizards.  You would lose by default if there is valid tracking on paypal.   Your would have to call ebay/paypal to explain how you know tracking is not valid.  I think you would prevail if the tracking was just fake but you would have to keep rejecting the resolution until a human will look at it.

"Kindly do the needful". Is this phrase good enough to use in a letter (to a non Indian) asking for a service? If not, what is the best alternative for this phrase?

I want to echo the other answers. Don't use it. I've seen it before, and thought it was a poor choice of words. First of all it says: "Kindly do.." which is worded as a directive. Unless you are someone's boss or writing to someone who has a contractual obligation to you, this is the wrong choice of words. It does not sound like a request but like an order. Second, "Needful" is an archic (and was never that popular to begin with) way of saying "necessary". So what you are saying is:"Please do this, it is necessary."Once they figure out what you are trying to say (by Googling "needful") they will likely be insulted that you are ordering them what to do.In your question you said you are asking for a service, so a better formal phrase might be:"I kindly request your service or any assistance you can provide in this important matter."
