Sacred Of Travelling By Ferry In Case Of Sudden Illness

What does it feel like to be in a high-speed car crash? Did you hit a car, or were you hit by another car? Did you drive into a stationary object?

I was driving back from college for Thanksgiving break when I was involved in my serious wreck. It had rained the night before but the roads were not really wet anymore. I was on a highway and as I started to switch lanes I hydroplaned due to a small space between the concrete of the lanes (idk how it was big enough to even make me hydroplane). So one second I was going 75 MPH and the next thing I know I am sideways on the road. I look out my driver-side window and see that I am headed straight for a telephone pole. I quickly thought “Okay, this can only end two ways: (1) I will die from this impact or (2) I will be paralyzed from it.” I took a deep breath and said something that my friends and I would say in high school when trouble was a major possible outcome. So I outloud and calmly said “well I hope this works out.” Luckily my tires were on the shoulder, which was grass, and it was wet enough to allow my car to slide down enough to where I missed the pole by inches. Right after watching my car barely clear the pole I let out some air as relaxation then all of the sudden…my car flipped 4 times and slammed into a concrete drainage ditch. I remember seeing everything too. From the windshield braking, dirt flying around, to all my stuff getting tossed about. Upon impact I got out of the car feeling just fine and with only a surface scrape smaller than the size of a dime on a knuckle. The police and emergency crews were telling me I needed to sit down since I had to have broken something and was just in shock so I could not feel it. However, I didn’t get hurt at all (outside of the surface scrap). They said that the fact that I was so calm and chill during it saved my life as they had never seen anyone walk away much less uninjured from a wreck like that in the 25+ years they had been doing their jobs.

How can you explain cases of people who knew they were going to die soon?

Do you have any references I can look up? If you're just talking about stories you've read on the internet, I really don't think you can put much stock in them. These cases would have to be documented pretty thoroughly in order to use them as data points for consideration. There are many questions to be answered in such a subjective exercise.

Also, keep in mind that you need an experimental control here to compare against, but a meaningful control is not practically measurable. For the sake of argument, say you did have these people who predicted their death. But how many people predict their death, yet it does not come true? There's no way to measure that, since it's not documented anywhere. Without this piece of data there's no way to extract anything meaningful out of all this.

How do I overcome my fear of driving?

I have this intense fear of driving. The ridiculous part is that I have been driving for 11 years, so I am not a new driver. However, over time, I have developed this fear. My main fear is being in a car accident. What causes that is that there are so many idiot drivers on the road. People who insist on tailgating, even if I am going 5-10 miles over the speed limit. There is no need to tailgate. It makes me really nervous. If I have to stop suddenly and the offending driver isn't paying attention, they'll crash right into me. They shouldn't be tailgating in the first place. Don't people realize how dangerous that is? I know it's inevitable, I'm afraid. I live in an area where there are really aggressive drivers. Secondly, I am terrified of driving to places where I have never been before. It causes me so much anxiety. I know there's nothing I can do about bad drivers, but in turn, when I am scared of driving, I'm nervous. it makes me a bad driver. One of the biggest parts of my fear is careless drivers. With the increased usage of cell phones and people texting while driving, is it any wonder why someone would be nervous about driving? Why text while driving? what is so all fired important that it can't wait? I know my fear is most likely irrational, but I also know people have been killed by drivers texting while driving. The last thing is driving at night. I don't like it.

Please don't tell me to just not drive. That is not an option where I live and it doesn't serve any purpose to help overcome my fear. It just avoids it. I want to drive. I used to love to drive. I want to get there again.

Disney World if i dont like roller coasters or rides?

disney world is NOT known for having a lot of roller coasters and thrill rides. there's only 3 thrill rides in each of the four theme parks...
magic kingdom:

hollywood studios:
-tower of terror
-rock n roller coaster starring areosmith
