My friend unfortunately I have bad news for you, while your display still works it is permanently damaged. There is no fixing this issue, there is only replacing the screen with a new one.What has happened is the display has been damaged below the first layer of glass, you cannot see the damage because the front glass is covering it, by removing the front glass you will be able to see the damage.It must be a minor crack in your LED, small enough to only distort the display and not make it go out completely.But its only a mater of time before the device gets bumped to hard or dropped and it will finish the small crack and make the display stop working completely.Its time for a new screen. I don't mean the alarm, I mean shut it off as in I'm not using it anymore for the rest of the day. I don't need it on anymore. How do I shut if off? It's just your average digital kitchen timer with a min, sec, and start/stop button.
Need help replacing a shift shaft on my kawasaki buyou 220?
Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. Bayou 220's were made for over 10 years with a lot of changes along the way. -Drain oil -Remove R crankcase cover -Remove clutch -Fiddle around with the shift mechanism, you'll see how simple it is. -Notice how the heavy duty spring is spread open around the tab on the shift shaft (don't lose the washer). -Since you broke the shift shaft, the end could be bent. You might have to tap it out with a long drift, ratchet extension or screw driver. Use what fits. -Change the shift shaft seal. It's only a few bucks. The seal could've been damaged when the shaft broke. If you have to tap the shaft out, that could damage the seal. -To change the seal - pry the old one out with a screw driver (careful not to damage the case that the outside surface of the seal touches). What does it mean when a car's battery light turns on while the car is moving (eventually car decelerates and stops)?
The alternator is failing or has ceased functioning. Whereas the engine's torque is usually giving your car constant electricity using the alternator, when it fails to do so the battery's reserved power is then used. Usually the battery is only used to start the vehicle. It obviously has enough power to spark the plugs, but only for so long, especially if you are also running your radio, A/C, headlights, etc. Once the battery is dead, the car is dead.This happened to me more than once. The alternator has a finite life in every car, so there comes a time when it will die, and it will almost certainly not be at the most opportune moment. Recognize signs of this happening before it is too late. Mine was failing for months before it inevitably gave in and I finally figured out what was wrong. A similar issue is if your serpentine belt snaps, the engine is no longer running your alternator, whether it's in good shape or not. This will cause more issues than the car just dying in five minutes- the water pump will cease functioning to cool your engine down and you will eventually overheat it and perhaps irreparably damage the vehicle.There are possibly other things that can cause this issue but this seems by and large the most likely.
