Why are my videos so slow on windows movie maker?

I transferred mp4 filed videos from my samsung galaxy s2 to my computer to edit it for my spanish project, and for some reason the audio is choppy and the video lags a bit whenever I moved the camera (it does not lag on my phone when played). Is there anyway to fix this problem without refilming because the project is due tomorrow. (im pretty sure the videos from my phone are 1080x#### too if that even helps in anyway.
Also, here are my computer specs for no apparent reason just in case (my computer isn't so great):
Windows Vista
-Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 2.40GHz
-3.1 GB RAM
-Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition Service Pack 2 (build 6002), 32-bit
-ATI Radeon HD 2400
-305.9 GB Free Disk Space

What movie editors can create slow motion videos?

I'm going to guess that by "movie editor" you don't mean the profession. You mean video editing software. No movie editor can do this without the footage being shot at a higher speed than the normal frame rate. Most DSLRs can shoot at 60 fps, although at a reduced resolution. All of the pro level editors can change the rate at which these frames are displayed: AVID, Final Cut X, Premiere Pro. You will also have luck with mid level editors, like Sony Vegas. I have no idea if free editing software like iMovie or Windows Movie Maker can re-time a clip to get it to play in slow motion, but since these are free, it is easy for you to just get them and try.

Windows live movie maker lag? Freeze?

Try downloading the latest version if you haven't got it already:

I used to have the exact same issues with Movie Maker, and now I can't use it. I had to get Sony Vegas, and I haven't looked back since. It's not as simple or quick to use as Movie Maker, but it gives you better options when editing and creating videos. You can download the trial from Sony and see if you want to buy it.

How can I turn a normal video recording into a slow motion recording on my Android?

I use this app to save slow motion videos on my android phone, On Apple phone you can create, save and share slow motion videos, but on android you can't.Slow motion video player helps in solving all these problems on android devices. You can save any video from speed .25x to 2x directly, but you can make any combination by saving the video again, so if want .125x then save the video at .25x then again save the video at .25x, so you will get output of .125x. This Slow Motion Video Player app can do all this on your android device.Just open any video, and use this app, it can save the video in slow/fast motion and you can easily share the videos with your friends.Choose the speed for playing the video, you can try playing the video at different speed, then select the speed which you think is the best, and then save the video. You can zoom in and drag to see some part in the video more closely. And the best part, It supports all video formats for playback and save.Download the app from play store:Video Slow Motion Player - Android Apps on Google Play

Slowing down the scroll text on Movie Maker?

I've never had the dragging tails problems with the scrolling and scrolling perspective titles I've used in Movie Maker. Try changing the font you're using for the text. I love downloading and using new fonts but I've discovered that not all fonts will work 100% in every program.

You could also try adding some higher quality HD profiles to Movie Maker. Movie Maker doesn't use true HD encoding so it helps to use the best WMV-HD profiles you can. I made a video showing how to do this for another Asker a few months ago but it's for XP and Vista computers.
