Saving Photos In New Groups Format

How do you change cover photo at yahoo groups?

I own groups and I agree that the new Groups format sucks. You can complain to Yahoo by clicking on 'Feedback' which is in the menu of the new format for each group. Look toward the bottom of the menu list.

Here's how I changed my cover picture after 'neo' started.

First, you have to choose a photo that you want for the cover in your group & that will fit the dimensions of the space. I own 3 groups and I looked for cover photos in Google Images by typing "banner" and another word that fit what each group is about into the Google search slot. For instance, for one group I typed "banner + fresh vegetables." I then clicked on "Images" in Google, found a photo I liked that approximately fit the dimensions of the cover space and downloaded it onto my desktop.

Then, I went back to my group and ran my arrow over the photo in the cover. The words, Change Cover, appeared. I clicked on that and my list of photos from my desktop was shown. I chose the one I wanted and clicked 'save' after it appeared as my group cover photo.

What is a jpeg format when l'm sending photos in an email?

In computing, JPEG (pronounced JAY-peg; IPA: [ˈdʒeɪpɛg]) is a commonly used standard method of compression for photographic images. The name JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group, the name of the joint ISO/CCITT committee which created the standard. The group was organized in 1986, issuing a standard in 1992 which was approved in 1994 as ISO 10918-1. JPEG should not be confused with MPEG, the Moving Picture Experts Group, which produces compression schemes for motion pictures.

JPEG provides for lossy compression of images (although there are variations on the standard baseline JPEG which are lossless). The file format which employs this compression is commonly also called JPEG; the most common file extension for this format is .jpg, though .jpeg, .jpe, .jfif and .jif are also used.

JPEG itself specifies both the codec defining how an image is transformed into a stream of bytes, and the file format used to contain that stream. The file format is known as 'JPEG Interchange Format' (Often confused with the JPEG File Interchange Format), and is specified in Annex B of the standard. It is possible for JPEG data to be embedded in other file types, such as TIFF format images.

JPEG/JFIF is the format most used for storing and transmitting photographs on the World Wide Web. For this application, it is preferred to formats such as GIF, which has a limit of 256 distinct colors that is insufficient for colour photographs, and PNG, which produces much larger image files for this type of image. The compression algorithm is not as well suited for line drawings and other textual or iconic graphics, and thus the PNG and GIF formats are preferred for these types of images.

The MIME media type for JPEG is image/jpeg (defined in RFC 1341).

On the SSC CGL 2017 application form, the photo is not uploading even though it is a .jpg file. The error says that this file is not a jpeg file. Why?

I am so sorry to hear you are having this problem, it must be very frustrating. There may be some kind of corruption or problem with the file encoding that is causing your file not to be recognized by the uploader. It could be from the drive that the image is stored on; do other programs recognize this file? It could be an encoding problem from where the file originated or how it was originally named or saved. Check the “get info” to see what your system identifies this file format to be.If you have another photo-editing program, like Photoshop, open the image and save it in another format, like TIFF. Be sure the name is not too long ( 8.3 is great). Also be sure the name only has letters and numbers, no special characters, periods or slashes. Next, open that newly saved file and save it again as a jpeg, regular, within the size limits that is specified on the website you are trying to upload to.You can research on the internet and find others who have this type issue and see some trouble-shooting steps to figure out other solutions. Sorry there is not a simple answer for this issue since there are many variables involved with file; naming; storage media; size; etc. Good luck.

If I reset my phone will I be exited from all groups in whats app?

Not really.Your WhatsApp backs up everyday either to Google drive or to your storage (you'll be asked to do enable it). The account will be removed when you reset your phone and so does the storage will be erased. Before you click on the reset, you'll be asked for backup options which even includes the WhatsApp database. So even if you reset your phone, you'll not be removed from other groups but your previous messages will be lost (If no backup file exists in your phone).

How do I download photos from a yahoo group photo album to my computer?

You can use the Print Screen button on your keyboard and save them to Paint, and then do a bit of editing with a photo editing program, but for now that seems to be the only way.

Is there a way to save guides in Photoshop?

If I'm getting this right, you're wanting to have the same layout including the guides?  It's possible to create a template document with the guides set, with a single background layer, or as a pdf file, and both preserves the guides. For a template, have just your background layer showing, or fill a single layer with white. If you want to create a single layer copy of your work with the guides saved, have everything you want visible. Then go to Image > Duplicate and check the 'duplicate merged  layers only' box. Then name the file however suits you, and save as a PSD or PDF, depending on what you need it for. This'll make a flattened copy of whatever is showing, including the guides.

Can I recover WhatsApp conversations after I formatted my phone (Android)?

Condition 1: Recover WhatsApp Chat History from recent backupsIf you have any backups of WhatsApp chat history, you will be able to  recover chat history from your backups. If you deleted any Chat history  or messages without backup, you can still recover lost messages,  attachments from the WhatsApp automatic backups. It is because WhatsApp  automatically makes backups every day and  stores them on  phone’s internal memory (only given that there is  enough free space) or external microSD card of your Android phone. What  you will need in order to recover WhatsApp messages is to uninstall the  WhatsApp, then reinstall the chat app again. During the installation  process, you will be prompted to restore your message history. Simply  tap Restore and everything less than seven days old is restored.Condition 2: Recover WhatsApp Chat History from older (less recent) backupsYou can follow below instructions to restore WhatsApp messages or chats from a backup:Uninstall WhatsApp.Open the WhatsApp database or backup folder. Decide which backup file you want to restore.Rename that file from “msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt7” to “msgstore.db.crypt7”.Install WhatsApp.When asked to restore, tap Restore. You can find the WhatsApp backup files from  /sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases folder, you will see that they are saved with  names like “msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt7”. Note that WhatsApp backup  folder may be located in either your phone’s internal memory or  external memory.Condition 3: How to recover recent WhatsApp chat messages without losing newest chat history? We know that new messages sent/received after a backup, and deleted  before the next backup, cannot be restored. If you want to keep a copy  of the newest WhatsApp messages, you can create a manual backup fromWhatsApp > Menu Button > Settings > Chat Settings > Backup conversations. This manual backup file will normally be saved as  “msgstore.db.crypt7” in your /sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases folder. Rename  this chat backup file to something like “msgstore.db.crypt7.newest” or  “msgstore.db.crypt7.current”.There’s no simple way to merge your new message with your old, recovered messages though.Condition 4: Recover Deleted WhatsApp Chat Messages without any backupsIf you just delete some very important chat messages without a backup, I recommend iMyfone data recovery software. You can google it. Very easy-to-use and can find all lost data back all.

What is JPEG format and how do you get it?

JPEG (or JPG) is the common image format that is used on the web. Saving it as that type of file ensures that anyone will be able to view it, and viruses or anything else cannot be put into JPEG images.

If you have this picture on your computer, all you have to do is open it up with whatever the default program is. This may be Paint, your digital camera software or anything else. After you've opened the photo, click on the File menu and then Save As. There should be an option to save it as a JPEG. If that option is not there, check the File menu again and select Export. You'll be able to save it as a JPEG from there.
