Scared To Show Parents My Report Card

I'm scared to show my report card to my parents. :(?

I got my report card, here's what it is for my Freshman year:
Biology Honors-C
Spanish 1-2-B
Health-A
Language Arts-B
Information Technology-A
Algebra 1-2 Honors-F

For the Biology, I spoke to my counselor about it and he said it's better to get a C in an honors class, than a B in a normal class. Does this count for Algebra as an F in honors vs a D in non-honors? xD

I have Asian Parents, and they are really strict on grades, but they don't understand that I always try my hardest, even in that failed class! I worked my butt off studying for the Finals, I got an 88%, but yeah. They just don't understand >_<

So should I still show 'em? Or should I use my leet Asian skills and change the grades on the computer! Lawl! But then I'll feel guilty :s

I'm scared to show my report card.?

Overall i would say I'm not a bad student... I often get a few A's and more B's. Anyway it's the end of the school year for me and I have a 77 in history and I'm worried about showing my parents. I will be honest I Did miss 2 smaller homeworks this quarter in anything. Anyway I did so bad in that class because of a test that I failed. I rarely fail tests but here's what happened, i break my arm then I went on vacation in spring break, but I had to have a surgery and was in the hospital for the next day. So then I come back to school in only 3 days and it's that test I failed. BTW the surgery was for my dominant arm that I broke badly which only made it worse. But other than that one test I think that I did fine. My other grades are an 82, 83, 86 and and one A. I would say I tried for the most part.

Scared to show my parents my report card?!?

So I told my parents i'd do really good in school this year and be on top of my work. I'm a junior in high school and i've failed two classes and it's first quarter. My reprt card will have 2 E's and a D. There my 2 hardest classes that I constantly struggle. My parents have been keeping an eye on my grades, but I have been showing them my test grades and I have let them know im not doing well in those classes. My parents are really strict about my grades and i've always done bad in school. How can I tell them about my grades before reports come out so I don't suprise them???? IM SO SCARED!!!!!

Im scared to show my parents my bad report card!!?

my parents are the strictest parents in the world. Last year i failed a class and they yelled at me for hours and days and took away my iPod and banned me from using any computers and never let me leave the house and when i wake up they just yell some more and my god, it was sooo awful like they never physically hit me, but for like 4 month straight thats how things were. They acted as if they hated me Pretty much anything lower than an 80% is bad to them. I have a 48% in french, 70% in english, 60% in math, and 62% in contemporary. This in their eyes is awful.

Thing is its not that i struggle with the course. Its just like my teachers keep giving these 8 page tests and we only got an hour of the class to do them. But my parents wont take that as an excuse. they wont take anythin as an excuse. They will see the grades and i will be in another miserable 4-6 month again. Im really scareeeddd :$

How do I show my parents a bad report card?

Have a plan, and have answers, not excuses. Talk to the teacher respectfully about what is deficient. Talk to a school counselor about tutoring or other options. Know the answers to these paths, then talk honestly and objectively with your parents.Beyond that, learn from the experience. One of the best teachers is our own failure, if we take the time to understand how we failed, and adapt to a better, more effective course of action. When I speak with “at-risk” students, I always help them see their own world, not mine. Learn that needs are first, and wants have to wait. Increase the amount of time you focus on needs based on the outcome you desire and hold off on that “Facebook” post or that trip to a friend’s house to chill and play on digital platforms. Tell your parents what you are willing to forego in order to improve your academic performance, then do it. One added benefit? You will feel great when presented that next report card, because you earned it!

I'm scared to show my mom my report card. Help!?

Today, I received my report card but I'm scared because of the grades I gotten. Here they are.
ELA: 80
Social Studies: 75
Math: 75
Spanish: 75
Tech: 85
Science: 65 or 55 ( Can't remember )
Health: 65 or 55 ( Can't remember )
PE: 70
If you we're my parent/guardian, would you be satisfied? If not, what would you do?

I'm very scared to show my parents my report card. Help me!?

Your father is correct, you little buffoon.
What was the "a" in? Stinking, smelly buffoonery?
(Just asking...)
Hand over the card, then take the beating, then go to your room.
Electronic crap is obv. NOT helping you learn, so give it up happily. Try to become a more focused, non-retarded person.
Pass a test with flying colors.
Do homework before it's told.
Find joy in learning, you little douche.
And then, when you're a straight-A student, DON'T ASK for the e-crap back. Let them offer it.
And do NOT abuse it again.

Parents and report cards, I'm so scared?

I knew you were Asian after reading the first 2 paragraphs (no offense; I'm Asian, too). I used to feel that way, too. I don't know about your parents, but all my parents did was lecture me and "rant" about it if I did worse or didn't improve. And that's all they're ever going to do! Don't be scared. They don't reward you for doing well, so you got nothing to lose. Even if you did do better, you'll probably still get yelled at for getting one B, right? It's okay.

Show them your grade, and be brave. Listen to and respect them, but don't take their criticisms to heart. Don't be afraid of them. They just want what's best for you, but they show this in the most cruelest way. Just accept their rants, but don't be intimidated or feel pressured by it. Like you said, you tried really hard. They'll probably call you "stupid" or say stuff like "I'm so ashamed that your my kid" or just something that lowers your self-esteem. Words can't hurt you, and they don't mean it. You're not stupid and there is nothing to be ashamed of. Did you hurt anyone? Did you commit a crime? No. You're just out there trying your best. They should be glad that you're not on drugs or being sexually active. Pat yourself on the back for getting your B's and A's, and get a tutor or something to help you out with Math for next year.

And college apps are stressful. But I'm sure you'll get into a decent school with those grades. Maybe not Harvard, which is probably what your parents are pressuring you to get into. Eventually, you'll get used to your parents ranting about your grades. I did, at least.

I never even showed or told my parents my college grades. What are they going to do? I'm too old to be yelled and lectured at. I did pretty well in college, but I wanted my parents to know that grades weren't everything, so I stopped showing them my grades. And grades are DEFINITELY not everything.

I got a really bad grade on my report card. My parents are disappointed, and I am frustrated (at myself). How can I cheer myself up?

I might be late on this one, but this is what I would do the night of the bad grade:Eat something tasty and watch an episode of your favorite TV Show.Do some extra studying on a subject that you enjoy and do well at.  Remind yourself that you can like and succeed at academia.Get a goodnights sleep.  Try and fall asleep listening to your favorite song.Tomorrow when you get home from school:Hit the books.  Cut out an extra hour to study for the class(es) that you are struggling in.Do all of your homework.  Homework is free points.Do not let your free time get in the way of your studying, but make sure you get some, and plenty of sleep.  A brain deprived of free time or sleep will become stressed and that will both hurt your grades, and, more importantly, make you unhappy.Repeat this process everyday till your teacher announces the next test.  Since you've been studying every night you should be well prepared.  HOWEVER, you're going to go home and study an extra 5-10 hours over the weekend before the test just because you're a stand-up guy/gal.There's one very important trick to all of this however!!!  Have fun with it.  Seriously.  Really turn studying into something you're interested in.  Throw yourself into the subject, make yourself curious about it, and not only will you be more likely to study more, but you'll be happy as well.Good luck!

Should I show my parents my report card? It is really bad. HELP!!!!?

I have a 58 for History and I have a 78 for Chemistry.
My parents have been asking for my report card for a while and they made me call up my friend and ask her if she got her report card. She said yes. Now im screwed. See we got our report card in school and we had to sign for it. I signed then I kept it with me but I hid it. My parents asked for it and I said I never got it. Then they said they were going to call up the school. Plus if I am lying they will beat me. If I show it to them they will still hit me. I am really scared. Help me. I am in need of advice.
