Scream 3 question. Spoiler alert if you haven't seen it. Please answer?
So at the end of Scream 3, Roman dies, right? And before he actually dies, Sidney and him hold hands just as he is passing. But then he comes back and dies again... So my question is, at the very end when Sid is running around with her dog and Dewey proposes to Gale, Sidney walks inside with her dog, closes the door, but decides not to put in the code to do the full security lock. Then the detective guy from earlier in the film tells Sidney that they are going to watch a movie. Sidney starts to walk towards the couch but then the door opens from behind her and nobody is there. She turns around and smiles when she sees it is open. Now back track a bit to when the ghost references come into the movie. "You can't shoot a ghost" "You can't arrest one either" yada yada yada. So back to the end, Sidney just smiles and turns back around to go to the movie. At that moment, I couldn't help but think, could it possibly be Roman's ghost opening the door?

Tha Sonny had a child who could take over the family business when Michael retired. It comes out in the third movie when Michael Jr becomes an opera star and Michael's daughter wants to marry her cousin. Michael makes his nephew give up his daughter to run the family and then the daughter gets shot. Those are the prices you pay for being boss. The point is Machiavelian in that you never count out the family in a vendetta situation.

The killer was Roman, the young director. He was Sydney's half brother. Before Sydney's mom married her father she was an actress for B-rated horror films. Her stage name was Reena Reynolds. She got pregnant (I think she was raped) and gave the baby away and decided to leave the industry. When Roman grew up and found his mother she turned him away and said that "Reena Reynolds is dead and you are not my son!", Roman pursued to stalk her and when he was filming her he noticed that she was having affairs. One of the men was Billy Loomus father, and the other was Cotton. So he becomes friends with Billy and his friend and showed him the videos of his father cheating and didn't like it, and talked into Billy and his friend to kill Maureen (Sydney's mom) and frame Cotton. Then of course with the popularity of the book, the 2nd movie came out with a film student wanted to make "history", then the 3rd movie was like the finale to Roman's plan. He was jealous of Sydney to have the love of their mother, when she didn't want to have anything to do with Roman. Ahhh sibling rivalry gotta love it...lol

It just means that it's the end of the "triliogy", meaning the end of Sydney's fight with the many various Ghostfaces (villains in the mask). There is no-one left out there that wants her dead, so she can finally get on with her life. At the start of the film, we see her with a large gaurd dog, locking her gate, locking her front door and setting her alarms. At the end of the film. we see her leave the door open, meaning that she can finally relax. Hope this helps :)
