RE:
Interviewing for Sales Consultant at carmax?
What exactly should I expect from the interview process, this is the in person interview, what are my chances of actually landing this job? I have 1 year experience at a retail store and 2 years at a grocery store, I'm 22 and in college with an open work schedule.

What do I expect from a second Carmax Interview?

Hi I just had a interview this Friday at Carmax and the interviewer told me that he will call me and tell me if I am accepted for the position so the interviewer called me back and said that I have a second interview this Monday with the general manager. So what do I expect from the interview and how do I prepare for it? Also is this a good sign that I got a second interview or not? Will I get the job or not?

Whats a carmax interview like?

When I had my sales consultant interview, I got asked a lot of canned situational interview questions. (e.g. Think of a time you and your manager had a disagreement. What did you do?) I was also taken through a sales role play scenario with a sales manager. (e.g. Try to sell me this pen.) The whole interview process took a few hours but most of it was waiting between interviews. If you're not used to situational interview questions, read up on them and be prepared to think on your feet.

What should I do with this interview at Carmax tommorow?

Congratulations on your interview tomorrow.

The interviewer will be trying to figure out three things.

First, can/will you do the job? This is where you need to be enthusiastic about what they do and how you can make them look good and sell more cars. Your dependability, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions and good work ethic will cover this one.

Second, do you fit in our culture and with our current employees? In this case they are looking for personal attributes such as friendliness, ability to get along with customers and employees and timeliness. Many employers believe these "soft skills" cannot be taught and are, therefore, extremely important. Explain how you served customers quickly and in a friendly manner at the vet's office and you should be fine.

Third, will you cause us any problems? They are trying not to hire a problem employee which is why we never say anything negative about past employers. Employers want intelligent people who learn from their mistakes and don't make the same ones over and over.

By the way, I know you're desperate for a job but don't tell them that. Employers are concerned that someone who is desperate might just want the money and not want to do the work. Keep hitting on the fact that you like to work with people, work with cars, enjoy keeping busy, etc. and you'll be fine.

Lastly, a nice pair of pants and a white collared shirt would be great. If you have either a sport-type jacket OR a tie (both would be too much for this type of job) go ahead and wear it. Although it's not fair, first impressions can make or break the interview. Since this is a detailing job you should make sure that your own vehicle looks good! You never know if they are looking.

Good luck and don't forget to ask for the job at the end!

You have an opportunity to make money by selling to an individual, assuming you know the value of the car. If you sell to a dealer such as CarMax, you’ll only be offered wholesale price since they have to sell it at retail price to make a profit. An individual may be willing to pay you retail price. You can check used car values at Kelley Blue Book and NADAGuides.com. Actual prices in your area may differ, however, due to different market conditions. Use the values in these guides as a ball-park estimate. Also check sites such as CarMax, Vroom, and Autotrader to get a feel for asking prices on cars of the same make, model, age, mileage, and condition of the car you want to sell.

I was with my ex (girlfriend at the time) and her mother was in, so I was visiting and we were in her room kissing. We made an agreement that we would only kiss - we could not do anything because neither of us wanted her mom to come in and she had a habit of not knocking. Anyways…the problem was, the more we kissed each other, the more turned on we made each other and it got to a point of panting and grabbing at each other’s clothes. Then she said something that was like music to my hormone-fuelled mind: “We can go find somewhere in the car…” Without even letting her finished I was like “Yes!”So, we set off. We both had the giggles trying to find a place. Where she lives is near lots of Scottish fields and some forest areas but mostly there is nowhere to hide. Everywhere we considered, there was a damned window! Or a house nearby that would have somebody in it get suspicious as to why a car was parked in the middle of nowhere, near them. She almost gave up but I reached out my hand and ran it right up her thigh, so so close to the area where she’d want me. “No,” I moan, “I need you.”“Oh!” She goes. “I know where we can go.”We end up at the park and ride. We didn’t get caught because my logical mind was terrified of the idea of being seen by cameras or getting arrested. She had one cover in a back window, so I used our jackets and some other things to block everywhere I could. We were parked right at the corner, at the very end, hoping nobody would be suspicious or want to disturb us. Then we climbed into the back together and…wouldn’t you like to know the rest. ;)It was so hot and I gave her the first orgasm she’d ever had from someone else. Hearing her…ugh, I can still hear her.

It is better than Reviewed, Not Selected and similar to Under Review. You can stay in that status for months and then see the position disappear. Or just stay in that status. There are many posts on the Internet about the inaccuracies in the Amazon jobs dashboard. Some groups also keep a requisition open in hopes of finding a great candidate and are not actually hiring. Dashboard hygiene is not pushed.
