Selling A Brand New Hp Laptop

What laptop brand is better? Acer or Hp?

My mom is going to get me a computer from either qvc or hsn and I don't know what laptop I want.

The Hp touch laptop amda 10 8gb ram one looks really appealing but I've heard Hp's break down after a year.

Acer also looks like a nice laptop maker. I've read pretty good reviews on their laptops. Please help me out! I really need to know! Thank you!

What's the best method to sell a brand new laptop?

If the laptop has been used, it isn't brand new.  If the laptop was used for five minutes... it isn't brand new.  If you break the seal on the packaging, you technically can't sell it as "brand new".So... if you are selling it on eBay, there is automatically a doubt as to whether it is "brand new".  In point of fact, many people will attempt to sell a Very Slightly Used product as "brand new"... and they will argue tooth and nail, never acknowledging the truth that it is not, in fact "brand new".Most people, if they are going to purchase a "brand new" laptop, are going to purchase it from a reputable brick and mortar store... or a reputable (looking) online website.  eBay does not come to mind first to purchase brand new products.  So if you are selling a Toshiba S55 for $699, and Staples is selling the same Toshiba S55 for $699... people are going to get it from Staples rather than get it from you.  You just don't carry the reputation to be able to sell it at MSRP.You can attempt to sell it on Amazon, believe it or not.  And... you can attempt to sell it for the MSRP.  However, that means that it will have to come with a full manufacturer's warranty.  If you never registered it with the manufacturer, that shouldn't be an issue. However... if you claim it is "brand new" and it in fact is not.... the buyer will be able to tell, and you'll be expected to pay the return shipping to take it back and give a refund. You can attempt to sell it on Craig's List, but again, you will not have the reputation to ask for the MSRP, and if you do, people will think you are just trying to sell a hot laptop.  However, Craig's List does open the possibility of local people wanting to buy the laptop for the regular retail price, thinking they are getting a good deal.  On eBay, people have other options to look at right there in their search, so it kind of automatically educates the shopper in shopping around.  That doesn't happen as much with Craig's List.

Are HP laptops worth buying?

Hello everyone, I am new to Quora and am writing my first answer on my new HP laptop :)Let me tell you, I have always purchased HP laptops. Now don’t consider me an HP fan, it’s just that whenever I am in market to buy a new laptop, I always find an HP laptop better than any other brand’s laptop, be it in terms of price or looks or the track pad and keyboard.I’ll tell you something about my recent purchase, I bought this HP laptop on 21 st September 2017 from Flipkart and got the delivery on the 23rd’s evening . As the Big Billion day sale is going on, I got this laptop at a fairly less price than regular days. In addition to the reduced price I also availed the No Cost EMI which made this laptop even more affordable for me. Here is the model that I purchased, HP Core i5 7th Gen LaptopNow coming to the laptop,The best feature that I found in it is the precision of the track pad. The minute you move the cursor, it takes you exactly to the location where you wanted it to go. I have not found any other brand’s track pad to be as precise as that of HP.The battery life of HP laptops have always been amazing. On my previous HP laptop I was getting 3.5 hours of battery life, on this I easily get around 5.5 hours of battery life on medium brightness.Spare parts of HP laptops, I have always found to be relatively cheaper and easier to obtain.I would like to conclude by saying, if you are in the market for a new laptop, do consider HP laptops as they offer the BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK !Thanks :)

Should I buy my laptop online or offline?

Hello guys,Should I buy my laptop online or offline?, Excepted question & nice question also… Thanks for askingOnline shopping makes you lazy and Offline shopping makes you active and makes you as a well known person in all aspects. ( HAHAHAHAHAHA)In online shopping gives you replacement offer and something , but how many of them checked it is replaced or repaired ?????In offline shopping they gives you the guarantee of the product and if it is having any defect, the product is under warranty and it will be replaced if it has some major defects… (i.e) according to severity of the defects…..In online shopping only convincing lines/offers/discounts will be available, that’s all….So in my point of view Online shopping is not as worthy as Offline shopping…..The difference between Online and Offline shopping is the difference between seeing movie in theatres ( Good print ) & laptops ( downloaded bad print)…. If you need good you guys have to wait for long time…Online shopping is for different group of people & Offline shopping is for different group of people… For me I prefer Offline than Online, which doesn’t mean that I’m totally against it…..Differs in the quality and the money your spending on the product…Think & investment on the things you are buying from online and offline shopping…

Is Nehru Place good for buying new laptops in Delhi?

I live near nehru place and thus can try to answer this question.as u might know nehru place is one of asia's biggest electronics market. It deals with all kinds of electronics items that are sold in india.laptops being a major item of their sale. It has showrooms of all brands, dell,hp,lenovo, asus, acer, samsung etc where latest models are avaialble for sale. You can visit them to know the trend and use them yourself.also it has dozens of shops that also sell mix varieties of brands. These shops offer rates maximun 2-8 percent cheaper than showroom rates depending on models. I had bought my laptop 2.5 years back from one of these shops ( dell vostro 1540)and it is still running smooth, has been serviced only once for heating issues.  I  have also bought 4-5  laptops for my friends. And most of them from showrooms (asus, lenovo, dell) as many are scared of buying from shops in fear of duplicacy. All those showroom bought lappies are also working well, and warranty is availed the same way in both cases. But yes these days laptops are cheaper online, especially at paytm which offers considerable cashback. I hav 2 friends who bought it from paytm. One of them is happy wid his hp i3 3rd gen which he bought for 23.5k only, wid 4gb ram and 500gb hardisk. Another friend had bought a 50k hp laptop from paytm but returned it as it had some BIOS issue. Those who bought from flipkart are more satisfied.but they might offer less accessories.Presently asus and hp laptops are winning the market.

What brand of Hard Drives does HP use in their laptops (dv6t) series?

I'm debating whether it is better to get the 500GB @ 5400 RPM or the 320GB @ 7200 RPM...with my laptop , they were both "free" upgrades...

my roommate told me that some brands make their 5400 RPM HDs just as fast as some other brand's 7200 RPM HD....so i'm wondering what brand does HP typically use??

How should i trade or sell my cyberpower pc for a laptop? Dell, Mac, Asus, Hp, etc.?

i cant really tell you where to sell or trade it but as for a recommendation what to get i personally have a mac and absolutely love however i have had to take it in about 5 times to get the keyboard replaced only to be told it is a common occurance for a macbook. Besides that though it is an amazing computer that i would buy but on a safe note purchase extra warrenty with apple :)
