Senior Citizens How Many More Times Do You Think The Stalker Abuse Reporter Will Try To Turn Us In

What do you do when someone files a false police report on you?

First, just because someone contacts the police, doesn’t mean a report will be filed. If a report is made, it also doesn’t mean that an arrest will follow. If when talking to the reporting party it is determined that a crime has occurred, or it would be reasonable to believe that a crime as occurred, and that it’s not a civil matter, that report will get filed. If it’s a civil matter, the party is informed of that, and if it’s just un Either the officer or a detective, depending on the size and policies of the department involved, will follow up and perform additional investigation, which will likely involve talking to you. A determination will be made as to whether they believe the allegation to be true, at which point the accused may be arrested, or a warrant obtained for their arrest. If it goes that far, your attorney argues the point for you in court. If the allegation is determined to be baseless, the department may choose to refer a case of filing a false report against the reporting party. This is rather rare, and generally involves very serious allegations, rape, kidnapping, etc., things that have caused huge community disruption and/or cost to municipalities or states in terms of manpower for searches, etc. Beyond that, you could potentially have a civil case for harassment, but those are difficult and expensive to prevail.

How to Stop a DANGEROUS stalker of Afghan(Pashtun) descent?

Here's what you should do. Turn on the alarm at night time. That way those morons won't break into your home. Secondly, arm yourself with a gun. Purchase a gun from a gun shop and use that gun to arm yourself when they break in the next time. Or find another weapon to fight back against them. However, you have the right to arm yourself with a gun and use it to defend yourself if someone is breaking in and attacking you. Most of all, CALL THE POLICE. Even if they may threaten you, you need to report this so that they can get caught and not come back again. Give the cops a thorough description of them and if you have a picture, show it to the cops. But when you do purchase the gun, keep the gun at your home and don't carry it in the public because that's illegal to do. Try to set up some traps if you can so that when they enter, DAR!! But I'm serious though, arm yourself with a weapon whether it's a gun, taser, flamthrower, or a match using a deodorant and blowing flames into their faces. Put traps on the bottom of your window such as nails so that they can't climb in. Stand behind your door and if they start coming in, shoot them with your gun or something. That way, they'll have no way of breaking in. Also, make dua lots of it!! Ask Allah to protect you from these people and to put a massive curse upon them in this dunya and akhirah. Make that dua every single day. Call the police immediately when u hear them come in. Just call them and then hang up, they'll come in more quickly. And maybe, this will thwart them off InshaAllah.

My neighbors keep calling the police on me and falsely accusing me of criminal acts. I am afraid to go outside of my house. What do I do?

I have a neighbor that is fixated on my husband. She seemed a little off, but once she found out about his time in prison she developed a full blown obsession. She wrote the association board for our community a complaint about him slamming doors and watching her when she was outside. This was nonsense but they still had to address it with us. She wrote subsequent letters to the board stating he has a key to her car, and gains entry to turn on her radio...that he lets air out of her tires...that he's getting in her home and releasing ants...and he's poisoning the food in her refrigerator. We'd see police at her door, but they never stopped by to talk to us. One day last fall, my husband was riding his bike. This neighbor pulled her car in front of him and slammed on her brakes, causing him to fall off his bike. Her behavior was now endangering him so we went to the police to file a report. The police were helpful, and knew our neighbor well. Apparently she'd filed lots of police reports about my husband and a few other men from the neighborhood. The police recognized she has mental health issues and never pursued her later complaints. So what can you do? Try to have your cell phone ready to record if you think your neighbor will confront you. Keep a cool head, there's nothing wrong with not engaging in an argument. Don't be afraid to talk to the police to see what your options are if you're being harassed. You don't want to end up on the wrong side of this problem.UPDATE: my local police department reached out to the neighbour's daughter, the daughter called my husband to apologize and let him know she will be intervening in a medically supervised care program for her mother. She made sure he has her contact info should we have any problems. I give her all the credit in the world, she was wonderful and it's great that she wants to be involved in her care! Here's hoping my neighbor gets back on track.

Where do seniors "hang out" on YAHOO.answers?

Like you,I'm a young senior too. I visit many of the other groups that interest me. After traveling the site, I always return to the SC group. Others may not read a question in its entirety, but I do. There are times that I read a question twice, just to make sure I understand fully, what the person is asking before I answer. There are a couple of places that I avoid because of all the turmoil that is part of the daily norm. Nice to see you here.
