What is senior presents?
When I saw your question title and saw senior presents, I immediately thought of the senior sports presents. All seniors, regardless of what sport, recieve a senior present at the end of the season. But seniors also wear white dresses during their graduation under their cap and gowns :)
How can I stop my seniors from ragging me?
I watched a video where a speaker claimed that the more you rebel the more fun it is for them and the more you will provoke them.If they say something, try agreeing to them in a fun way. Make them feel they are superior already but you don’t have to feel inferior, just be a nice actor *wink* . Just think of it as a joke and avoid paying attention to what they say and if it becomes harmful and beyond control like physical abuse or something then don’t take stand alone. Report! To your teachers, parents, anti-ragging cells , expose on social media and if it gets worse then report even to the police.Don’t just know your rights, know how to use them . :)And to all the bullies out there, grow up already and get a real job. :)
Seniors, What is your opinion of dental implants?
I need to replace a tooth that was pulled a couple months back. I have a choice of either getting a bridge made up which means I would have to get 2 crowns on the supporting teeth on either side of the missing tooth or I could opt. for a dental implant. I have read that sometimes the implants are a problem, lots of infections possible and they may take a long time to heal. I am lucky that I am in a place where a crown is only about $90. a tooth so it would be around $300. or so for a bridge and the implants can be done for slightly more, less then $400. for one tooth. It is a side tooth so it really doesn't show much. Have any of you experienced an implant? Any tips about which method is better and more comfortable?
Which search engine do seniors prefer?
Is it Yahoo? Bing? Google? Is there a study? I'm doing a report for class and I need to focus on older age groups. I can't seem to find information more recent than 2005 that breaks down search engine preference by age. I am looking for some information that is at least from the past 3 years. Thank you!
Seniors? What is the ugliest gift you ever received ?
My first Mother in law gave me so many ugly gifts, I have to think about this. This is a woman who introduced me as "Chip's little friend" after we were engaged. Okay, The bright orange sweater for one Christmas. It was two sizes too large and made me look like a hazardous material sign. EDIT: I thought Power's answer was very sweet. I don't know why someone would thumb it down.
What is the importance of senior pictures?
Depends on your school, but they are generally pretty important. My school lets everyone replace their boring school ID with their senior picture in the yearbook. As a result, anyone who doesn’t have a senior photo stands out.I think this is the same at most American high schools.My friend last year didn’t turn in her senior pictures on time. As a result, they used her school photo.Most seniors take joke photos for the school picture day. She was one of those seniors. (Yikes!)So, you can say that senior pictures are important. They don’t need to cost a lot of money. I recruited my friend and we went to a park. I payed a girl at my school to edit them and turned them in the next day. Much better than a $200 photo shoot with the same result (more or less).
