Urgent: I need some advice on working at a Winn-Dixie?

I just got hired to work at Winn-Dixie and I started work yesterday. They seem really unorganized and I don't feel like I know enough to properly do the job (like yesterday they told me that I start work at 2:30pm and didn't tell me when I would get off, I ended up getting off at 11:30pm. Also they were putting me to work without giving information on how to clock-in or where to clock-in at. And I don't even know when I'm suppose to come back to work, I'll ask tomorrow. And, they told me I would get a box cutter sometime so I ended up opening the boxes with my fingers and by the end up the day my fingernails were bloody.)

Well, the supervisor gave me a 5 minute tour of the store and gave me a 2 minute lesson on how to stock and left me to myself to do the job. I did the job, but at a very slow pace. I'm uncomfortable now because I heard the supervisor telling someone that we are all expected to stock (i think) 50 cans an hour or something like that or we get wrote up.

But anyways the whole time I was there I felt pretty lost and I was wondering if anyone else has stocking experience could you give me some techniques on how to stock faster and what is expected out of me? (like sometimes I had leftovers, sometimes I would find like 4 random products in the wrong place, and stuff like that. Where do they go?)

I know this isn't the best job but I really need it. I don't have any official work experience and I've sent in applications at about 100 over stores in the past year. I have to move into an apartment soon so quitting isn't an option.

Note: I know this isn't a hard or complicated job, but I really can't afford getting fired

I need advice from a experience person concerning schooling and financial issue taking place...urgent!!!?

Here's what happened, I'll try to explain this the best I can.

Right now I'm going to college, I'm 20 yrs old and I've got 1 more year to go. Unfortunately I ****** up in one of my classes, and I happened to be on financial aid, and so they denied me for next quarter, but I didn't get the notice till I was in school. I didn't tell my mom sense I'm under her wing right now, and so I really didn't want her be stressed out, but eventually I had to tell her. She was very angry. I mean she went and told almost the whole family. So far no result come out of it. No on has tries to help me, and I know why, my family arent exactly financially able to pay for my expenses for college, I mean that what's financial aid is for,, right??.

So my mom is making a big deal out of it, and I now how she can be, she can overexerate the issue alot. I now I ****** up, I was sure I had some sort of plan to tackle this issue.
Plan 1: I was going to continue school by getting a federal loan, so I can get my financial aid back, then as I'm usin the loan i can pay the loan back by using my financial aid.
Plan 2: I was going to go to a drug study in portland for a week to to get like 900 bucks, so I can pay it.

But unfortunately she didn't approve of any of those things, and if I did she threaten to kick me out, like she's been doing this for the passed couple of month. God
Help me, she is verbally abusive, she's been like that ever since I was young. I've tried so hard to get away from her, but Im still stuck, to where I almost have no motivation to live any more, I mean I'm so
Scared to branch out in the world, and I have been bardered with so much negativity, it's hard to cope, and see clearly, from making wrong descisions in my life, which I've made alot. She doesn't respect me for anything in the world, she holds me up on this high pedalstool, and glorifies my failures but pretends to care! She just likes to make look stupid, and prove shes right all the time.

I'm depressed. Job interview didn't go well. Any advice? Please read my experience.?

in interviews, some u do well, and some dont

the trick is to learn from the bad interviews and not to repeat them, and move on

First day as a bouncer today, I need advice?

They wouldn't have hired you if they didn't think you could do the job.

Chances are you won't have problems the majority of the time.

Talk to people and be friendly. It is human nature not to want to get nasty with people we know as friends.
Try to diffuse situations with good communication.

Distract people by asking about them and making light jokes.
