You can't exactly do that and I think this isn't the right question to ask. You can create more than one account in Google Apps and use one as your regular address and one to log in to other non-Google services. But you can't have an account with Google and tell Google to not let you log in to that account.For logging in to non-Google services, you can create aliases for your apps email account. I've found that's more trouble than it's worth except for business use, where I want to be able to redirect the alias.As to keeping your Google Apps accounts secure, it's going to be hard to prevent people from learning the address. So concentrate on making it hard to compromise: use strong (preferably random) passwords and two-factor auth. There is a risk that someone could compromise the DNS on your domain and then use that to compromise other accounts of yours (since they could redirect your email to their servers, they could then use that to reset passwords). You can mitigate this by using an @gmail.com address for critical accounts instead of an apps email address, since it will be much harder for someone to compromise the DNS for gmail.com than your private domain. Treat this email account as a universal password and protect it accordingly.

I have a Yahoo email address, eg. abcd@yahoo.com. i terminated this account a while ago. I forgot that I had terminated this account. I used the email address in my Facebook account recently as another email address in the accounts setup on Facebook. Facebook alerted me saying that there is an account existing with the same email address. I used the email on facebook search and found that there was a person on Facebook with that email address. Is it possible for Two people to have the same email address on Yahoo. Sounds very wiered. How is that possible. I later went back to my terminated Yahoo account and reactivated it. it working fine..... Can some help me explain this Thanks el

You should not add a new email address to AOL. Your benefits from being a member of AOL are almost nil. You should instead get an email address from a completely free service, such as gmail. Your internet service provider undoubtedly would provide you with an email account. You should not be paying for access to the internet. They should be paying you.

I currently have one email address that I use regularly. However, I would like to create another email address that will still send mail to my regular email address. email providers have different domains, so if your previous is a "defiance.com", and your new is "defense.com", the name before the domain can be used and it would be lik "abc@defense.com". but for some email providers also, they offer a special and unique system of email creation in which the customer can pick his/her own choice. like if the provider is "defense.com" and you want it to be a complete different one such as "butterfly@bravery.com", your request will undergo thorough investigation IF what you choose has NO the same domain with other sites. and once it is okied, then you can get that choice. so all will depend on the provider upon your request. but mostly, additional charge will be imposed.
