Severe Lower Back Pain Right After Cliff Jumping Now It

Severe lower back pain right after cliff jumping now it's moderate/mild!?

Severe lower back pain right after cliff jumping now it's very moderate/mild! I feel it more when I cough/sneeze which is weird. But a few days ago I went cliff jumping off a cliff that was 50 ft. South Point in Hawaii to be exact. The second I hit the water I was in excruciating pain coming from my back but even as minutes and hours went on it kept ceasing but I still feel the pain here and there but it's moderate. I plan to have a doctor visit scheduled in the coming days. I have never had any back problems except some moderate back pain here and there while on a 6 month dose of Accutane which I ended July 27. Hoping to hear from someone as I'm paranoid about this. Thanks so much in advance! Thanks again (already asked in medical forums). Now it's the waiting game.

My back Ribs hurt after cliff jumping?

There is good evidence that compression helps to reduce pain in the rib area. I would either warp a large (8") ace wrap around the ribs or go to a pharmacy and purchase what is called a "rib belt". Apply it with some compression and you will feel a lot better. Your ribs will hurt for about another 5-7 days.

Back/Neck Pain After Cliff Jump?

Your neck muscles are tight from that and they need to be freed up to get rid of the pain and here's how to free them up:
Neck Release:
Place your hands behind your head touching your fingers. Press into the back of your neck with them and hold the pressure on them. After 30 seconds slowly lower your head until your neck is fully extended. Release the pressure but hold your head there for another 30 seconds. repeat if needed.
Your back pain is from pinched muscles in your back and even if it feels better free them up now or they will come back to be a bigger pain later. Here's how to free up your back muscles:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side. For both- for best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Pain in ear after jumping into water...?

I've read through many similar questions, but they all seem to be asking about an recent injury.

About 6-7 years ago, I jumped off a 40 ft rock or so. It was a small area you had to aim for and because of this, I kind of went in at an angle. Once I hit, my ear hurt like crazy for a good hour or so. Then the pain dulled, but was still present for a few days. I never saw a doctor for this. A few months after that, I jumped off another rock and my ear started throbbing again. Now, even 6-7 years later, I can't even jump off the side of the pool without experiencing some pain. I'm not going very deep into the water or anything.

I have had my ears looked at for other things and they've never said I perforated my ear drum or anything, and no mention of scarring. Any ideas?

Hurt back jumping off 30 ft cliff please help me idk whats wrong!?

Ok me and 4 friends went to this place Sunday and it had a rock cliff next to the watter and we all jumped off it and the one I jumped off was 30ft and I jumped into the water and landed into the water on my butt and lower back. I didn't hit anythimng solid like a rock or log. The water was super cold too. So I swam 20ft to shore and it hurt rlly badly it was hard to breathe and it has gotten much better since the land but what's wrong with me? I mean I can walk and stuff but when I'm at work I pick up stuff and it hurts and in bed when I try to move it hurts like when I arch my back. Anybody have ideas what I did and how I can fix it (I rlly don't wanna see a dr I will if I have to) thanks I hoped its strained and nothing serious

Thanks!

Jumped off cliff week ago- back still hurts, will it go away by itself?

You prob pulled a muscle, you might even have bruised the inside of your back. Either way; it will heal in due time. I do MMA and I got punched in my chest; long story short, it healed in about 5 weeks. Also, if its a strained muscle, it'll go away in about a week. I hope you feel better.
Also! You can use ben-ghey and it will sooth it.
Or a heated blanket- will make it feel
more mobile and usable.
