Should I E-mail My Teacher

How to email my teacher and ask him for retest?

i honestly failed my test and i studied for 2 weeks since the unit started. i shouldn't be blaming the teacher because he didn't do anything wrong but i just want this one, retest. idk how to email him at all. :(

Should I email my teacher this?

It was my teacher's first year teaching algebra in my school and she was very nerdy. A lot of kids liked her because of this and also a lot of kids disrespected her because she was too nice and couldn't really control a class. I'm really bad at math and if it wasn't for her I don't think I would've passed the state test and I wanted to thank her but I feel so awkward about sending the email because I never raised my hand or asked for help and I was very quiet. I didn't like any of the kids in my math class because they were all rude and my friends were in different periods. I looked like a loner most of the time in her class and I don't want her to look at my email and say "wow out of all people I didn't expect this person to email me". So should I email her about how I'm glad she was my teacher? She also doesn't like to show too much emotion during class so I wouldn't know if she would find my email creepy or appreciate it. I also missed the chance to thank her in person because I couldn't come to school on the last day because of a family emergency. I don't want to wait until september/senior year to thank her because that would be even more awkward for me.

Do I email my teacher too much?

I've asked this a few times b4 but I wanted some more answers.

Am I annoying my teacher?

I feel like I email her wayy too much. I got paranoid and checked my sent emails and I've sent her a total of 15 emails this year so far. :( I email her like 3 emails a month. It is always school related, always questions about assignments or something.

Should I email my teacher?

I mean like I need and want to email her. It's about my project and I have some questions that I wasn't able to ask in class. BUT she is like busy and have a lot of stuff in her head. Should I email her or not? I mean I don't want to bother her and I also don't want to get some stuff wrong in my project.

What to email teachers when your sick?

Something like this (not verbatim):

Dear ______,
Hi, my name is ____. I have been absent for the past 2 days due to illness. I am aware of the test scheduled on Friday; however, I do not think that I have had sufficient time to prepare for this test. Is it possible for me to take the test on Monday instead? Thank you for your help.

Sincerely,
_______________

Is it weird to email my teacher in the summer?

Would it be weird if I emailed one of my teachers from last year to ask if they have another teacher's email? And ask how the first teacher's summer is going? Because I know the two teachers are friends. And this teacher was kind of close but not like super duper close, but a little. Closest teacher out of the 7 I had.

I tried calling the school and they didn't answer. I also looked at the faculty email list, but that list is really old and I know a lot of the emails have changed.

This teacher I want to email actually loves teaching. He loves his students and is really dedicated to what he does, but isn't super strict (which is why he's my favorite). If he had to pick his favorite 15 students, I'd probably be one of them.

I sent my teacher an email and now I regret it?

So, when our teacher posts an assignment, a turn in assignment option pops up. A friend told me that thing is only there to tell us the due date but before I knew that, I decided to send my teacher an email to ask if I should turn it in that way. Not only do I feel stupid, I kind of feel like I crossed a line. At my old school, teachers were very big on sending emails and communicating with students even if it's something like confirmation on homework. I get the feeling it's not like that here. The teachers not only didn't share emails, but when they did, they would mention that it's a way for parents to get in touch with them. I looked at a few more asks on this website, and most teachers that answered seemed to say that they didn't like getting emails for daily things like that. What should I do?

Should I email my teacher about getting a zero?

Are you the only one that did this? If so, I would assume the directions were clear. I agree with Sue’s answer — it is better to talk directly with the teacher. If you email and cc other people it will also look like you are complaining and asking others to intervene. If you are the one who didn’t follow directions, that will just antagonize the teacher. There are valid reasons to have things turned in online instead of hard copy. One of these is that online resources will help with checking student work for any plagiarism. There is no way the classroom teacher can match the power of the computer for comparing work to a large library of other work.If there is a valid reason why you were not able to access the system and turn it in online, be ready to discuss that politely with the teacher. If the grade is the only issue, I would advise taking the approach of asking what you can do to get your grade back on track as the term progresses. I would not be confrontational even if you feel that the teacher was too harsh in grading.Good luck, and lesson learned. I hope the cost is not too high by the time you finish the class.

School; my teacher emails my mom help me!!!?

Your mom receives emails from your teacher claiming your grades that you got, so what is the issue is my question to you. Get good grades and don't give your teacher a reason to email. I am not sure why you are "singled" out, but your Mom has a right to know your grades, and your teacher probably has a responsibility to tell your parents. Normally this is in the form of a grade card and can be electronically transmitted from a school web page, but if email is the method, so be it. Do better and sweat not.

As a student, should I write a thank you email to my teacher?

I was 11 and, from a class of some 40 pupils, I and 5 of my fellow pupils had been selected to go to the Grammar School. This was a big, life transforming opportunity for all of us.Our teacher, Mr Leitch, was a lovely, kind, generous man to whom we all owed a debt of gratitude. My Mum said, “What are you all doing to thank him?”The answer was, nothing.I felt ashamed. So, that night, the evening before our last day at school, my Dad took me around to the house of Stan, another of the “Boteler Boys” (the name of the school we had been accepted into) and we agreed to get some fancy stationery as a gift for Mr Leitch together with a card, which we would get all the other lads to sign.At the end of our last ever day at that school, the whole class tearfully said goodbye to this wonderful teacher and “The Boteler Boys” duly handed over our gift to him.He was gracious, embarrassed and kind. Why do I still remember it and him nearly 50 years later?Because a good, kind teacher is so precious and we were so lucky to have had him.Thank them from the bottom of your heart.
