Should I Get A Pixie Cut

Should I get a pixie cut?

If you are wanting to get your hair cut, that's all good, but I don't know about a pixie cut. Do you have a round face? I have a round face and I know that I would't look right with a pixie cut. I have had my hair cut very short before and I received a lot of compliments on it, but I guess it had to grow on me. I really didn't like it initially.
I also have big eyes and high cheek bones.

Have you looked at some other styles? Kelis' new hair cut is cute and plus Mary J. Blige's hair when it was short was cute too.

Look into some other styles, but I don't think you should do the pixie cut. What if you don't like it? You really can't recover unless you wear a wig.

Just think about it and If you decide to get it cut that way, then cool. Don't be in a rush to do so because like I said, you can't really do too much if you decide you don't like it.

Should I get a pixie cut?

If that’s really what you want, then absolutely. I had been deciding whether I should do it or not for about 2 years and when I said f- it and finally went for it last summer, I felt amazing - I still do! I used to have super long hair for the majority of my life and people almost cried when I said I wanted to try a pixie cut. They were convinced it won’t suit me and begged me not to do it. After it was done, however, everyone loved it and said I looked much better. I know it sounds cliché, but I finally feel like myself. It brings me confidence and a strange feeling of freedom. Since I know this tends to be a problem for some women - I also feel as feminine as ever! :)

Should I get a pixie cut (I'm 13)?

Recently, I've been playing around with the idea of getting a pixie cut. I think it would be easier for me to care for considering I have thick hair and it's uncomfortable to have it long (I hate wearing it down and wearing it up gives me headaches). I always mess around with my hair and sometimes my hair is just plain annoying. I've always liked how short hair looks, but i'm nervous that it'd make me look too grown up. I think i'd be fine, but I'm tall and skinny for my age. I really want to get a pixie, but I'm scared I wouldn't like it. Do you think it'd look good on me?

I have a bob type style currently and it's layered. I'm bored with it though because it's not fully long enough to put back into anything and it gets in the way.

If you've ever gotten a pixie cut, did you like it? And if you can please tell me some pros and cons that would be great. :)

I have mostly straight dark blonde hair and glasses. I think I have an oval face. I would want something along the lines of it being pretty short on the sides and back and then longer on the top. Not sure if that'd work for my hair type though, with it being straight.

Should I Get A Pixie Cut?

I have been thinking of getting a pixie cut recently, and I've made pro and con lists galore of why. I'm just not sure if it would work for me. My face is longer and oval-shaped, and I am 14. My hair is brunette and thick, but not extremely, and when air dried becomes wavy. It has a tendency to be a bit frizzy, but I have ways of getting rid of that. I'm afraid that I won't be able to get one, and I need to know what I should do. Should I get one?

I've had mine cut Princess Di's hair style once, it looked good on her, but because of my hair texture, I HATED it on me.
"It's an adorable haircut that looks good on so many women -- but I am not one of those women. And the maintenance of a bob, for me at least, was far more time consuming than my long stick straight hair. You see, you can't just wash and go with a bob. (Especially when you have bangs.) There are serums involved. Round brushes, and such. At the time, I wasn't cutting my hair as a means of a morning short-cut; I was cutting it because I was tired of looking at the same 'do for god knows how many years. But when I met myself in the bathroom mirror each morning, ends flipping out, bangs all frizzy, I cursed the stylist in my head for not warning me about the upkeep involved in an actual hairstyle." Example 1: “Okay so i got a pixie cut and i really dont like it on me is there any thing that can make hair grow amazingly fast?and is there Anything that i can use to get rid of acne?”

The only advice I can give you? It's only hair. If you don't like the pixie cut or bob style, you can always grow your hair again. You'll never know how it looked on you, without trying it.

Should I get a pixie cut in high school?

You are confusing!

1. Your last year of school, grad. photos and prom = in other words you like to look feminine & look good. That SCREAMS for LONG HAIR.

2. Then you say you're not worried of loosing attention from guys. that SCREAMS for short hair.

First of all, looking feminine doesn't SCREAM for short boyish Pixie hair!
Graduation photos with short hair, is going to make you more insecure and wondering if you look good in short hair, taking your confidence away. SHORT HAIR hardly looks pretty with prom gowns!

Short hair makes anyone look OLDER! Many people @ the senior center when I do my volunteer work, ALL HAVE short hair!

I am for long hair now. I had more problems and troubles with short hair, and I looked like a boy. I have sons, and I don't want to look like one of their sisters when I'm with them. I want to look more like their mom. My short hair is over, I had that all my grade school life and won't look like grade school or like all the Seniors @ the center - where I do volunteer work.

If you do decide to cut your hair shorter, make sure they're wrapped up saved in paper. I guarantee you, they will never be that long, healthy and color again.

Example of one who cut her hair too short:
ok,so my god mom is a beautician and just did my hair and cut it SO short it is exactly how i did not want it and school is tomorrow

I know hair. I have over 4 decades of hair know-how. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy hair down to my knees. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing in the 80's & 90's. I've known people in their 30's whose hair stopped growing from ironing their hair in the 70's. I can style mine 7 different ways a week, takes 2-10 mins. one example on my profile.

Should i get a pixie cut? ( read details )?

okay so i’m 14 and i will be starting high school in a couple months. i previously had a pixie cut and i felt super confident. i loved it. the thing was that it was a big drastic change from having long to short hair for everyone. i also chose to dress like a boy so people would call me a “cross dresser” it hurt but it didn’t matter much. i then wanted my hair to grow longer. i honestly didn’t mind it but i wanted ppl to like me. right now my hair is a short bob and i’m not gonna lie, it’s pretty cute. I miss the confidence and the look i had with a pixie. i dress feminine now and i’m thinking of going back to short but dress more feminine. ( feminine look is my style) my parents are saying that no guy would like me with short hair and it’s bad timing since high school is around the corner. i understand where they’re coming from but it makes me feel bad. i want a pixie but no one will like me. i don’t know anymore. what should i do?
