Torchlight 2 or Diablo 3?
Torchlight 2 is coming out slightly faster than Diablo 3. Okay well maybe much faster. Which one should I get? Because i heard that the original creators of diablo 2 left and is now creating torchlight 2. So i figured id go for torchlight because i looveddd diablo 2. Ive looked at videos, and they both look pretty darn fun! Which one would you choose and why?
Torchlight 2 vs Diablo 3?
As a former Diablo1/2 player, Diablo 3 really destroyed the beauty of what Diablo was about. Customizing became a thing of the past, stats are fixed, no skill trees and everyone looks the same (armour dyes only change colour). But if you're entirely new to the Diablo series, and would like to jump straight into Diablo 3, be my guest! Just that former players like me won't enjoy it. But by all means go ahead. ----- I grew to like Torchlight because of the skilltrees and stat allocations, during the beta, i have created a outlander-mage and melee-mage. Torchlight 2 really revives the good old days of Diablo where (aside from hoarding items and gold) players could experiment with really whacky builds. So if you're a former player of Diablo1/2, my recommendation is to go for Torchlight 2.
Torchlight vs sacred 2?
If your aiming more towards a game that's similar to Diablo 2 or Diablo anything, I highly recommend Torchlight. Since the creators of Diablo was involved in the creation of Torchlight if im not mistaken. And Ive Played Sacred 2 and its an OK game. To me, it just seems like its missing something. I really wouldnt recommend it to people that much if any at all. But it could just be me. The classes in the game are found on the website posted below. I never played torchlight yet but plan on it. and with alot of good ratings for it and very mixed to low ratings for Sacred2, I Think Torchlight is the way to go. =)

What is the Diablo 3 genre?
i'm planning to buy the game after i watched some trailers, i think it's an awesome game. but some information about the game confused me, is it an offline game (with online feature like Torchlight 2) which i can play it alone, or does it require an online connection to play and move on in the game?
Torchlight 2 cinematics screwing up?
Ever thought that you can't run highest with all that on? Try a good old reboot, and then reinstall it. If you still have problems, just lower the settings for when you watch cinematics.
I've logged a bunch of hours on Diablo 3 and loved it. I'm sort of burnt out on it and thinking of trying Torchlight 2. Are these games similar to each other?
Torchlight 2 is definitely quite similar, but it is made to be something of a spiritual successor to Diablo 2, moreso than Diablo 3, with a lot of the same mechanics that we saw in Diablo 2.The major difference is the art style, which is quite a bit brighter and more cartoonish than either Diablo game.The one big advantage of Torchlight 2 is that it is a highly moddable game, and modders have created a ton of content for the game, like new items, weapons, and entire classes.Another game worth checking out is Path of Exile, which shares a great deal of similarity to Diablo 2, and is bit more ‘hardcore’ than Diablo 3, but has tons of content, and is entirely free to play.
