when I was playing it, it was one of the best games ever, especially finding all the glitches and easter eggs online with a friend, wearing retarded outfits and stuff, but I got bored with it after just over 2 months. £10 is pretty cheap, I got it for 16, but I definetly recommend it, even for a few years on when maybe your live has run out its fun to mess around on it. If youre on xbox my gamertag is SykoTik FusIOnZ. by the way, saints row 4 is comong out later this year or early next year, but the trailer doesnt look that good tbh. (If you get really bored, me and my mates used to play a game where you basically play 'tag' or 'it' but with tazers, because tazers have infinite range and a slow reload, it was a good laugh + theres whored mode (hoard) or all the minigames)

What are the pros and cons of Saints Row the Third?
Yes, the game play is very similar to GTA. You do missions; blow up cars; get in gang fights; go around and kill random people; etc ( you pretty much ge the idea). The game is really good. I was impressed when I play it. You have access to new and better vehicles; have new melee attacks; and you have new enemies such as; zombies, brutes ( really big guys); super fast rollerblading emos and have better weapons that you can upgrade. But here are the cons, which you probably don't want to hear about a game you want to play. The game lacks customization. You really don't have that much access to clothes, like in SR2 and you can't customize cars all that much, the map is smaller than the first to games, so you feel like your in the same place 50 times, which can be pretty annoying, espically if you like discovering new areas. The missions can sometimes be boring or drag on for a really long time. You don't have that much gang hideouts like there was in SR1&2 and it takes you forever to find the nearest one (unless you have a really fast car or another vechical). I hope all this I'm saying isn't decreasing your chances of still getting it. These were all the problems I had with the game, but still get it. I online is amazing and I love the gameplay. Trust me It's worth buying it. BTW Happy Birthday ( even though it's not your birthday yet). :-)

Just a heads-up, I've only played the first 3.I would vote for Saints Row 2. You actually have to clear the activities if you want cool bonuses. While the city of Steelport is bigger, I didn't find it to be all that fun. Too much grinding to unlock what could be unlocked by clearing instances in the preceding games.I remember Saints Row being more difficult, I don't think you could get infinite ammo without cheats. BUT, you could unlock a pistol that is guaranteed a 1 shot kill regardless of where you shot your target. All the gangs had their own flavour. Vice Kings were middle ground, they had decent weapons and cars. Rollerz were focused on fast cars and had the low end weapons. Carnales had slower cars, but they packed the most firepower.For Saints Row 2, I would say all the gangs were more balanced; but the red gang, The Brotherhood for this game, was the most formidable.As for Saints Row The Third, I think the difficulty for that one came from the addition of enemies that stumble farther after getting shot, specialists for each gang that are a bit more difficult to put down, and what seemed like a huge cut to the player's health, but maybe I'm just imagining that. The game can be made trivial once you reach a high enough level and unlock invulnerability to basically everything.
