Should I Go College For Mba At Age Of 28

Is it worth doing MBA at age 28?

It actually depends on you. A lot of people do MBA because they want a career change. Unfortunately in India, education is the easiest way.The plus side of this is that you know what kind of job you want. If you were in a technical role, it would have been slightly easier for you to get to the role of your choice. However before you jump in to an MBA do try this:Get a mentor from the job/role of your choice (if you don't know someone, try reaching out to you colleagues/friends in a related role)Explain to them your situation and what you want. Ask them what you need to do get to the desired role. If they do not know, ask them to redirect you someone else.Once you have this, analyse and see for yourself if you can achieve this is a specific time. If you can then go for it.MBA is definitely worth it. The experiences and interactions you will have are going to be amazing. They will help you develop your thinking and judgement. You will add a whole new layer to your personality. It may also lead you to some new discovery about yourself. Is it worth it? - Now this is a subjective question. Each person has to decide this for themself. It depends on your current life situation, your family and the efforts you put in.Keep in mind that age is not a barrier. There are colleges in India with a shorter course duration. If you are looking for a course in a different country, then your age should be the last thing on your mind. A lot of people do an MBA once they have a decent work experience.I wish you luck in your endeavours.

Can I go back to college at any age?

I'm thinking about going back to college and I'm 28 years old. I would like to go in nursing, but i have already went 6 years out of colleges already, but i didn't get my degree, I want to make something out of myself, and i took most of my pre-reqs. I have always had an interest in the human body and how it works. I would like to get a good career so i can support my wife when i have one.

Is getting a Master's degree at age 28-30 old?

No-these days people go back to continue their education pretty much at any age. My sis is law went back when she was 50 to get her Master's in Education and we had a student that had a double major that was in her seventies because 'she didn't want to get old like her husband!'. I think it is wonderful. Every age has something to offer.

Is it good to do an MBA at the age of 28 without work experience?

That depends on the reason why you don’t have any work experience. Recently I was going through the profiles of IIM Sambalpur students and I did find a 30+ year person without work experience in the batch. Maybe the person has some genuine reason which is why IIM accepted the person.
