Should I Mention This To My Doctor Or Is It Just A Phase

If Fantastic Four are back, could Doctor Doom be the next big MCU villain? Why or why not?

I’m going to go ahead and paint a picture for you.Dr Doom shouldn’t be the next big villain. The can and should start laying the ground work for him to become the a big villain down the road.a road map should look something like thisFirst you need to introduce the Fantastic Four into the MCU. There are two paths here 1. Solo Fantastic Four movie ala Guardians of the Galaxy or 2. Bring them in via an event ala Spider-man in Civil War where they can be soft introducedA Stand alone or vaguely tied in FF centred movie might be a hard sell, Fans will be pretty quick to trust Marvel Studios, but to the average movie goer the FF are bad news. A stand alone movie should absolutely NOT USE Dr Doom as a first villain. Victor might be mentioned as Reed’s rival. Doom should NOT be connected to the FF origin.Personally I would love them to try Mole man and the Subterranean Monsters as the First Act Villain and Introduce the Frightful Four as the 2nd and 3rd Act.Then Doom, meanwhile slow build the Negative Zone leading to Annhilius as the big end of Phase cross over event. If they go the event version the could just have them show up in GotG or Captain Marvel as a team of scientists caught in a Cosmic Blast of some other event. They could even split them up ala the recent comic with Human Torch on avengers, Thing in Guardians and Reed and Sue running the Baxter Building, then launch there team movie out of that setup. If they go this path I’d be more okay with Dr Doom being introduced early, heck Doom would make and interesting Side Story in Doctor Strange as well.Either way Doom needs to be developed like Loki as an on-going thorn in the heroes side, Latveria needs to be an ongoing concern as well. Latveria could become the source of many classic “russian” villains.

Do doctors have the right to refuse to treat a patient ??

Yes they can: but till the step of saving a life they can not,, ,,,for many reasons;
1) they can refuse to treat a relative if they fear the interference of their emotions in the procedures
2) They can refuse to treat patients if they do not really know how to treat them
3) They can refuse to treat a patient , if the damage done by the treatment is higher than the treatment itself
4) They can not treat a patient if it is too risky and did not get approval from the patient or the patient family.
5)They can refuse to treat the patient if the treatment itself is a crime (like in abortion , where applicable)
6) They can refuse to treat the patient if the treatment will lead to a crime or cheating or against ethics,(like fixing the virginity).. (or the treatment by doing another crime,,,like stealing an organ for another person to treat the patient)
7) In cosmetic, they should refuse to treat the patient if what the patient wants is not realistic (like liposculpture and a fat person, the person should diet first.....as it is not away to lose weight...)
---8)I think it is even by law that they can refuse (or should refuse) to treat a patient , if the treatment procedures are still in the experimental phases (NOT APPROVED YET, ,,,,,unless lots of arrangement be done,,,by them, the patient and the medical community

9) They can refuse to treat the patient if the patient can not afford the treatment and is not a threaten situation (lets be logic)

--edit: They also can refuse to treat the patient if the place of the treatment is not occupied with the necessity of the treatment in case of an emergency which can happened during the treatment)

I think there are more cases that they can still refuse to treat the patient, as for one answer above me about treating a female by a male or vice versa,,,,I should congratulate the answerer for his post, He is doing his job well , by irritating people from Islam and I am considering converting , ,,,,, good work Adam !!!!!

Vegans: Do you tell your doctors you're vegan? Also, how do you feel about soy?

I have had two doctors since I went vegan. One was a homeopathic, natural medicine doctor and the other was a normal, western medicine doctor. Both of them supported my decision. The most recent one checked all of my levels just in case (mostly because I had not seen a doctor in a while) and they were all in normal range. She suggested a calcium supplement but said she tells all women to take one regardless of diet. I usually drink calcium infused OJ and such these days.

Is soy bad? No. Is way too much soy bad? Yes, because way too much of any processed food is bad. You want to make sure you are getting a variety of nutrients. The best soy products are the fermented ones like tempeh, miso, and soy sauce. They do not have any of the negative properties of nonfermented soy. However, soy can be a good and healthy edition to one's diet. Just make sure it is not your entire diet.

The weight thing for me has always been exercise (or lack thereof). When I got my bike, I lost weight. I suggest that everyone enjoy a bicycle, overweight or not ;-)

Ultrasound Tech told me im 1 week behind but my Doctor...?

I really dont think the ultrasound is that great of a way to tell a due date. I have two Girlfriends that are pregnant and both of there due dates have changed within a month!!! My one friend was originally due Sept 4....but now have a date of Sept 20th!! 2 weeks different!! I am due February 20th by my LMP but the last ultrasound put it at February 12th!! I know exactly when I got pregnant and when my exact LMP was...I think you should go by the LMP till you get further along like 35 weeks and then they will be able to tell better!! Good luck

What was the most difficult phase of your life and how did you come out of it?

Not many very dark phases in my life, but two stand out a bit-When just before I gave my medical entrance exams, my closest friend and my love left me suddenly saying he was bored. In itself it wasnot a very significant incident, but the impact was great becauseI had totally lost my self-confidence and was only dependent on him emotionally. He made it so by disregarding all my opinions and making me follow his exclusively. All people close to me had warned me not to stay with him, but I was blindly in love so I stopped talking to my friends and family and moved away from everyone. So when he left I was kind of left alone without support and that was very hard to take, specially when I had to take the most important career choice decisions, give lots of exams and there was noone around to share or support or even discuss what I wanted. I stopped studying, going out, talking to people and spent months of lonely sleepless nights dialling his number and disconnecting the call before he picked up, even contemplating suicide. 2.   2-3 years later my best friend for        17 years stopped talking to me         suddenly and at a time when I         really needed her. She was like         the sister I never had, we used to        share everything and she was         the only person who never           judged me.             I still don't know why she did this. But at that time again I started having panic attacks without provocation, when I wouldn't be able to breathe and fall sick suddenly at anytime. I couldn't sleep, study and withdrew from people. I got prescriptions and took a combinations of 3-4 drugs which would keep me drowsy and hazy enough to not feel any emotion strongly. Now I am more or less out of both the phases, although I have become a little more anxious by nature. Exactly how I overcame the situations, I can't say, but my parents supported me by trying to boost my confidence levels and lying awake with me when I couldn't sleep. I had some counselling too, basically discovered how to live without being too dependent on anyone and how to be less sensitive to life's ups and downs. At least now I feel I wouldnot do this bad in similar situations.A2A

If you were a part of Marvel, how would you plan Phase Four?

After the Avengers defeat Thanos in the Avengers Infinity War: Part 2, the next big, MCU-wide baddie has to be…Dr. Doom.Doom is the perfect villain to wrap up the series with, assuming there is to be a Phase 4 (some of these guys will be getting way too old to continue). He cuts a sharp contrast to Thanos in that Doom isn’t some god or mutant; he’s a man who derives all of his power from his cunning, intellect, and indominable will alone. With Marvel having acquired 20th Century Fox, introducing Doom into the MCU isn’t only possible, it’s the key to expanding well beyond Phase 3, uniting the Marvel Universe in an Avengers/Fantastic Four/X-Men/Guardians of the Galaxy/Doctor Strange/Black Panther crossover against quite possibly the most dangerous supervillain in Marvel comics history.Introduce the Fantastic Four and the X-Men over the course of 3 films and only tease Doom throughout the series, not showing him outright. I’d want to conserve his exposure the way Thanos was, maybe placing him in mid-credit scenes in other Marvel films as he plots some nefarious scheme affecting every hero in the MCU in some shape or form. To better showcase Doom’s insanely brilliant strategic mind I would only show the consequences of Doom’s actions as he works behind the scenes throughout the slate of films in Phase 4. For example, if Ulysses Klaw remains the villain in a Black Panther sequel, there could be a throwaway mention of a financial backer from a shady European dictator investing money in Klaw’s scheme to take over Wakanda for its vibranium reserves and demanding a modest return on investment and holding his vibranium as collateral. There could also be a throwaway mention in the news about bank security systems being probed by an unknown threat. The mid-credits scene could show Klaw’s entire fortune held ransom by a mysterious virus; not knowing who the culprit is, but also knowing that the penalty for failing his backer means certain death, a terrified Klaw directs his subordinates to turn over his vibranium reserves to his backer: Latveria. Then only at the very end, after the credits have rolled, have one final after-credit scene revealing Latverian hackers (working for Doom of course) as the source of his troubles. You don’t quite show Doom yet, but you build him up throughout Phase 4 and maybe even Phase 5 as a potent, multi-dimensional chess player.

Should I give my 17 month old daughter pediasure?

She's been going through a very picky eating phase for about 2 weeks now. About all she'll eat is fruit, cereal milk and juice. I had her in the dr's office yesterday for a cough and mentioned the pickiness. She said I could try giving her some pediasure, but is it really necessary? I'd hate to buy it and then have her not like it.
