Should I move from working at BMW to Tesla.?

usually the way it works is, in order to move up in the chain of command (to be a CEO) is to move from company to company. but id say weigh the pros and cons.
heres a little story, a persia general caught a prisoner and told him " i have 2 choices for you and you must pick one tomorrow"
so they took him to a cell for the night
the next day they bring the prisoner infront of the general
the general say" you can either choose death by firing squad or you can pick the black door"
the man thought about it and told the general "firing squad"
a few moments later the sound of gun shots pernounce the mans death.
the generals aid asked what was behind the black door
the gerneral replied with "Freedom, yet Man is so scared of the unknown, they go with the known"
so moral of the story is sometimes you got to take a chance

Should I move out or stay?

I am 23 years old working and going to school in NJ, I don’t come home until night 9pm. I want to start selling stickers again online but I can’t because the attic I used to say got rented from my parents to someone. I currently stay in a small room And there is no space in my house. I pay only 250 and help in rent because my room is so small , like the size of a king size bed is my room size. I can’t really invite anyone. So there are more disadvantages, but if I do move out I would have a lot of space but pay more in rent but be able to work online or have at least a computer in my room. Should I move to bigger room for like 500 where I have space to do online work . Please help it’s been bothering me for weeks.

Should I move to Riga to work for Accenture?

Hi there! I actually work for Accenture and live in Riga. I am native here, so it wasn't much choice for me to move or not. When I joined company, I got as well about 1/3 less than I had in previous place, but I joined anyway, because Accenture offered me new opportunities. I am 6+ years with this company and I think I'll stay for couple more at least. 1) Opportunity to learn. Learn how to work in big international company, follow the bureaucracy and get my gain out of it. As well, I got significant experience with different programming languages, frameworks and approaches.2) Methodology is not bureaucracy. Accenture has a legacy of their own administrative approach, which was built to control company of such size. Some projects are following it, but others - don't. If you are involved in some New Age project probably you will have all brand new shiny tools. 3) Safe harbor. Accenture is solid organization, that is capable to sustain itself despite any market changes. Join once and you will get your salary same day even if the country is on fire (I believe so, because my salary has never been delayed a day for 6+ years).4) Join Riga, work around the world. It might be tricky with Ukrainian passport, but during my years in Accenture, I've joined London, Finland, US and German projects on multiple occasions. I worked and lived in those countries months in a row, was sponsored to take my family with me. I've blended into client's team to achieve maximum productivity and grasp on their lifestyle. It is not the thing you get, while doing offshore wor. 5) We have Ukrainian community here. You thought you'll be one and only? We have more than 20+ Ukrainian developers working on different positions in Riga and abroad. Company supports national community and they have all means to easier integration into local society: language courses, off. paper translations, even sponsored cake for Independence day. 6) Possibility to growth. Sky is a limit, so if you are willing to work on your career in Accenture or other company in Europe, as you switch out of convenient offshore development model you start see your possibilities to grow. If you feel, you are not appreciated in Accenture Riga, in year or two, there are different countries that are ready to accept you. You might even discuss options for moving to work for Accenture Toronto or Accenture Brazil, if you wish.

Should young people move abroad for work?

100% yes! I moved abroad to work (as an ESL teacher) just a few months after graduating and I can say that it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! Here’s why:I didn’t want to get stuck in a 9–5 office job. Teaching English allowed me to travel, have new experiences, and make money at the same time. I also feel that I learned a lot more about myself and the world than I would have if I hadn’t moved abroad.I was able to improve my Spanish skills and now I’m fluent. If I decide to move to the U.S. and get a job there, being fluent in another language and showing that I’m independent enough to move to a new country alone looks pretty good on a resumé.It forced me to decide what I actually want in life. After I saw that teaching English wasn’t for me, I had to find a different way to travel. I was forced to actually sit down and ask myself how I want to earn money and how I was going to keep traveling, rather than just mindlessly working in a job I hated.I think it’s an amazing experience and, if you end up not liking it, you can always move back.
